ON TAKEOFF WE SELECTED GEAR UP AND THE LANDING GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT . THEN THE GEAR HANDLE WOULD NOT GO BACK TO THE GEAR DOWN POSITION . WE RAN THE CHECKLIST FOR THE GEAR WILL NOT RETRACT- WHICH DID NOT COMPLETELY APPLY IN THIS SITUATION- AND SUBSEQUENTLY WERE ABLE TO FORCE THE GEAR HANDLE DOWN TO THE DOWN AND LOCKED POSITION . WE NEVER HAD A GEAR UNLOCKED RED LIGHT OR ANY OTHER INDICATION THAT THE GEAR WAS NOT SAFELY DOWN AND LOCKED . BURNT OFF 300 POUNDS OF FUEL AND LANDED UNDER MAX LANDING WEIGHT. REPLACED LANDING GEAR CONTROLLER. OPS CHECK GOOD. IAW AMM 32-01-00.

MAIN CABIN DOOR HANDLE WILL NOT MOVE TOWARD THE LOCK POSITION. YOU CAN NOT CLOSE AND LOCK THE DOOR. REMOVED, REPLACED, AND ADJUSTED SPADE DOOR LINKAGE IAW 560XLS AMM 52-10-05. OPS CHECK GOOD.
AFTER TAKE OFF-APPROX. 1500 FEET AGL BOTH LT SEAT PFD & MFD DISPLAYS FAILED. WE RETURNED TO THE FIELD. PERFORMED THE OPS CHECKS FOR THE IC-615 COMPUTER WITH STAISFACTORY RESULTS REF AMM 34-26-00 MCC HAS ELECTED TO SIGN OFF AND RELEASE.

WHILE INSPECTING ELEVATOR FUSELAGE CABLES, FOUND ELEVATOR TRIM CABLES AFT OF THE TRIM MOTOR HAVE TENSIONS LOW. VERIFIED ELEVATOR CONTROL CABLES AND ELEVATOR SERVO CABLES TENSIONS.
MAIN DOOR: MAIN CABIN DOOR WAS STUCK IN THE CLOSED POSITION. WHEN ATTEMPTING TO OPEN THE DOOR, THE LEVER WOULD MOVE TO THE OPEN POSITION, BUT THE DOOR WOULD NOT UNLATCH. WHEN WE STILL HAD SERVICE AIR AND WERE ABLE TO OPEN THE DOOR, BOTH OF THESE SEALS WERE PROTRUDING OUT OF THEIR RECESSES IN THE DOORFRAME. REMOVED AND REPLACED MED VENT DOOR SOLENOID IAW CESSNA 560XL AMM 52-10-00. OPS CHECK OF VENT DOOR GOOD AT THIS TIME.

FLOOR EMERG EXIT LIGHT: ON PREFLIGHT, FORWARD LEFT FLOOR EMERGENCY LIGHTING HAS A STRIP APPRXIMATELY 8-9 INCHES LONG NOT WORKING. PERFORMED WIRING CHECKS FROM HT048 BACK TO PC040 TO BOTH SIDES OF AFT EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHTS & FOUND SHORTED WIRES ON TOILET EXIT SIGN. REPAIRED SHORTED WIRES PER SPM 20-30-25, REINSTALLED TOILET SURROUND, AFT EQUIPMENT RACK, & EMERGENCY LIGHTS BACK TO LOCATION. CONFIRMED NOW ALL EMERGENCY LIGHTS ILLUMINATE IN "ON" MODE OF EMERGENCY SETTING. OPS CHECK GOOD. C/W WDM 33-50-01 & IMM DWG 4578500.

COCKPIT ODOR - VERY STRONG, ACRID ODOR COMING FROM THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM. REMOVED PRECOOLER TEMP SENSOR AND INSTALLED NEW SERVICEABLE TEMP SENSOR AND PERFORMED OPS TEST OF PRECCOOLER RAM AIR DOOR WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. ALL MAINTENANCE PERFORMED IAW AMM 36-11-02. TEMP SENSOR REPLACED DUE TO PRECOOLER ACTUATOR REMAINING IN THE EXTENDED POSITION
NLG INDICATOR LIGHT INTERMITTENT - ON APPROACH LANDING GEAR DOWN WAS SELECTED. THE NOSE GEAR DID NOT ILLUMINATE. THE RED UNLOCK LIGHT DID EXTINGUISH. FLAPS WERE AT 15. WE EXECUTED A GO AROUND TO TROUBLESHOOT AND RUN CHECKLISTS. THE NOSE GEAR LIGHT STILL WOULD NOT ILLUMINATE. FLAPS WERE MOVED TO 35 WITH NO PROBLEM. AIRSPEED REDUCED BELOW 150 AND NO GEAR WARNING SOUND. WE BLEW THE EMERGENCY EXTENSION BOTTLE. STILL NO NOSE GEAR ILLUMINATION. AFTER LANDING AND TAXI OFF THE RUN WAY THE NOSE GEAR LIGHT POPPED OUT. WE PUSHED IT BACK IN. THE LIGHT FLICKERED ON AND OFF WHEN I PUSHED IT IN SO I PUSHED IT AND TAPPED ON IT MORE EVENTUALLY THE NOSE GEAR ILLUMINATED STEADY///SIGN-OFF///JACKED AIRCRAFT AND DID MULTIPLE GEAR SWINGS, NO HARD FAIL. PERFORMED WIRING CHECKS OF LANDING GEAR CONTROL PCB TO THE LANDING GEAR CONTROL UNIT AND TO THE NOSE GEAR DOWNLOCK SWITCH. NO FAULTS FOUND IN THE WIRING. REMOVED NOSE DOWNLOCK LIGHT CAPSULE FOR SECURITY AND CONDITION, NO FAULTS. REINSTALLED CAPSULE. REMOVED LANDING EAR CONTROL UNIT AND INSPECTED CONNECTOR. BLED HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. HISTORY SHOWS LANDING GEAR CONTROL UNIT WAS REPLACED RECENTLY. AWAITING AM DOM FOR FURTHER ACTION AS REQ, PER MCC IAW CE-560XLS AMM 32-30-00. LEFT ENGINE ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE INDICATION HIGH TEMPERATURE - #1 OIL TEMPERATURE FLUCTUATION. DURING CLIMB (PASSING 35,000?) WITH THROTTLE IN CLIMB DETENT, #1 OIL TEMPERATURE FLUCTUATION FROM NORMAL TO MAXIMUM REDLINE. ON LEVEL OFF AND IN CRUISE POWER, #1 OIL TEMPERATURE SETTLES AT 100C AND INTERMITTENTLY FLUCTUATES +- 20C THROUGHOUT THE FLIGHT. #2 OIL TEMPERATURE STEAD AT 80C ALL FLIGHT. NO ABNORMAL SECONDARY INDICATIONS NOTED. *** CORRECTIVE ACTION *** INSPECTED TEMP BULB INSTALLATION AND NO ABNORMAL CONDITION NOTED. RAN L/H ENGINE AND MONITORED TEMP INDICATION AND IT APPEARS TO BE GOOD. CONNECTED P&W ENGINE DOWNLOAD CABLE AND ATTEMPTED TO DOWNLOAD DCU BUT NO COMMUNICATIONS. AFTER LANDING AND DURING TAXING ONTO RAMP, THE RT BRAKE ON MAIN GEAR WAS HANGING UP WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS PUSHED. ACFT WOULD SHAKE & SHUTTER. HAPPENED 5 TO 6 TIMES. VISUAL INSPECTION PERFORMED ON ANTI-SKID BRAKE SYS, NO DEFECTS NOTED. BRAKES BLEED PROCEDURES PERFORMED & TAXI RUN PERFORMED, NO DEFECTS NOTED. OPS AS NORMAL. WORK DONE IAW MM 32-44-00.
ON LANDING THERE WAS A STRONG JOLT FROM THE RT BRAKE WHEN TAXIING WITH EQUAL PRESSURE, THE ACFT PULLS HARD TO THE LT, IT FEELS LIKE THERE IS NO RT BRAKING. COMPLIED WITH VISUAL INSPECTION OF ALL ANTI-SKID BRAKE COMPONENTS. NO FAULTS FOUND. COMPLIED WITH HIGH SPEED TAXI CHECK AIRCRAFT BRAKING NORMAL. REVIEWED HISTORY PROVIDED BY AMCC. FOUND ALL WRITE UPS HAVE NO MENTION OF ANTI-SKID BEING SELECTED OFF DURING ABNORMAL BRAKING. HISTORY ALSO SHOWS ABNORMAL BRAKING IS ASSOCIATED WITH PRESSURE SPIKES AND PRESSURE LOSS AT L&R BRAKE. DURING LANDING WITH ONLY LIGHT TO MODERATE PRESSURE APPLIED TO THE BRAKES, IT FELT AS THOUGHT THE LT BRAKE WAS GRABBING EXCESSIVELY. THIS OCCURRED INTERMITTENTLY UNTIL THE ACFT WAS AT A SLOW TAXI SPEED. BRAKE METERING VALVE CABLE CLEVIS ATTACH BOLTS EXCESSIVELY TIGHTENED CAUSING BINDING AT BRAKE METERING VALVE INPUT LEVERS. CORRECTED INSTALLATION OF CLEVIS ATTACH BOLTS IAW MM 32-44-20 REV 31. CARRIED OUT REPLACEMENT OF LT MLG BRAKE WITH OVERHAULED UNIT IAW MM 32-42-01 REV 35. MAIN WHEEL R & R IAW MM 32-41-02 REV 31. AFTER LANDING & DURING TAXI WHEN BRAKES WERE APPLIED, THE ACFT JERKED HARD TO THE LEFT. FELT LIKE THE LEFT WHEEL LOCKED THEN A PULSE FEELING IN THE BRAKE PEDAL & THE ACFT KEEP ROLLING BUT THE BRAKES FELT SOFT. SEEMED AS A GRINDING FEELING THROUGH THE BRAKE PEDALS, RELEASED THE PRESSURE ON THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE SAME PROBLEM OCCURRED WITH REPEATED APPLICATIONS TO PARKING. ALL NOSE BITE INDICATORS WERE NORMAL. BRAKE FLUID LEVEL WAS NORMAL. TROUBLESHOT PROBLEM INSPECTED LT BRAKE. JACKED LT MAIN GEAR, SPUN LT WHEEL. APPLIED LT BRAKE WHILE SPINNING WHEEL, NO BRAKE LOCKING NOTED. WHEEL SPINNING NORMAL. BLEED BRAKES & TAXIED ACFT. BRAKES OPERATIONS CHECKED OK. CHECKED BRAKE FLUID & BITE INDICATORS IN NOSE ALL CHECKED OK. WORK DONE IAW MM 32-42-00.
AFTER BEING AT ALTITUDE FOR APPROXIMATELY 45 MINS THE ELECTRIC AND MANUAL PITCH TRIM FROZE UP, IT BROKE FREE WHILE DESCENDING THROUGH THE LOW 20'S. SUP: R &R LT AND RT ELEVATOR TRIM TAB ACTUATORS WITH O/H UNITS IAW THE MM CH 27-32-04 RIG, TRAVEL AND OPS CHECKS ARE GOOD. REMOVED PART ACTUATOR ASSY LT (PN: 6660161-20, SN: 7044737LH) TOTAL HRS 222.6, CYCLES 170.
ON TAXI OUT, EXPERIENCED AN AGGRESSIVE GRABBING OF THE RT BRAKE. BOTH THE LT AND RT PILOT STATIONS HAD SAME RESULTS. REMOVED AND REPLACED BRAKE METERING UNIT AND ANTI-SKID VALVE IAW MM 32-44-20. TAXI CHECKED GOOD AT THIS TIME.
BRAKES ARE GRABBING VIOLENTLY DURING TAXI, BOTH RT AND LT BRAKE, FROM EITHER PILOTS BRAKE PEDALS. R & R THE BRAKE METERING VALVE. BLED SYS. OPS AND LEAK CHECKS GOOD. COMPLETED IAW MM 32-44-00.
DURING TAXI INTO RAMP BRAKES STARTED GRABBING ABRUPTLY. COULD NOT TELL WHICH MAIN BRAKE.
DURING SLOW SPEED TAXI AFTER CLEARING RUNWAY, ACFT SHUDDERED VIOLENTLY ABOUT 4 TIMES AS IF THE BRAKES WERE GRABBING. AFTER SOME DISCUSSION ABOUT POSSIBLE FLAT TIRES WE SLOWLY CONTINUED TO THE RAMP. FELT ONE MORE SLIGHT VIBRATION THROUGHT LT RUDDER PEDAL DURING TURN TO PARKING SPOT. PERFORMED THE ANTI SKID BRAKE SYS BLEED ON BOTH THE LT AND RT BRAKES IAW MM 32-42-00. ALL TAXI, OPS AND LEAK CHECKS NORMAL.
WHILE LEVELING AT 5000 FT RT ENGINE "EEC MANUAL" LIGHT ILLUMINATED. APPROX 30 SEC LATER THE ITT REDLINED. UPON POWER REDUCTION ENGINE BEGAN TO VIBRATE. PERFORMED A PRECAUTIONARY SHUTDOWN CHECKLIST. TROUBLESHOT PROBLEM: DOWNLOADED LT AND RT ENGINE IDLES WITH IM LIGHT AND GB SIM. PERFORMED DRY METERING RUN IAW REP. ENGINE SPOOLED UP AND SPOOLED DOWN WERE FOUND TO BE NORMAL WITH NO UNUSUAL NOISES. R & R BLEED TORQUE MOTOR WITH NEW IAW MM 75-20-01. PERFORMED ORIFICE DETERMINATION RUN WITH CLASS 3G ORIFICE AND OPS CHECKS NORMAL IAW MM 71-00-00. INSTALLED METERING PLUG, ECONDARY ORIFICE.
AFTER LANDING DURING TAXI, AIRCRAFT'S RIGHT BRAKE LOCKED MULTIPLE TIMES; VERY HEAVY LURCHING TO THE RIGHT. LIGHT PRESSURE TO NO PRESSURE WAS APPLIED TO BRAKE PEDAL AND IT STILL LOCKED. INSTALLED AN OVERHAULED BRAKE ASSY ON RT SIDE. OPS & LEAK CHECK GOOD. TAXI CHECK GOOD. ALL WORK DONE IAW MM 32-42-01.
