EMER LIGHTS ONLY PARTIALLY FUNCTIONAL, WITH THE AFT LAV BULKHEAD EXIT SIGN ABOVE SEAT 7 INOP, THE LAV SEAT FLOOR LIGHT INOP, THE EXIT LIGHT ON THE FRONT OF THE LAV SEAT INOP, AND THE OVERHEAD LIGHT ABOVE SEAT 10 ACROSS FROM THE LAV SEAT INOP WITH THE EMER LIGHT SWITCH IN THE ARMED POSITION. ALL LIGHTS FAIL TO ILLUMINATE WHILE IN THE ON POSITION. COMPLETED AFM'S 68AFM TC-R03-70 EMERGENCY LIGHTS FAIL PREFLIGHT TEST PROCEDURE. PER THE AFM PROCEDURE, CHARGED THE EMER LIGHTS FOR A TOTAL OF 60 MINUTES, BUT IT RESULTED IN NO CORRECTION TO THE SYSTEM TEST RESULTS. EXTERIOR EMERGENCY LIGHTS ARE CONSIDERED INOPERATIVE (REFER TO MEL 33-50-04). //SIGNOFF// ARRIVED AT A/C AND CONNECTED GPU , LET THE EMERGENCY BATTERIES CHARGE FOR OVER TWO AND A HALF HOURS. PERFORMED OPS CHECK OF THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS AND OPS CHECKS WERE NOT SATISFACTORY. WHEN BATTERIES ARE IN THE OFF POSITION AND YOU TURN THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS TO ON NOTHING TURNS ON. THIS IS AN INDICATION OF THE #4 BATTIER BEING FAULTY. MCC HAS ALREADY PLACED A NEW BATTERY ON ORDER AND WE WILL BE DOWN TO JUST WAITING FOR THE BATTERY TO ARRIVE. MAIN CABIN DOOR WILL NOT OPEN AFTER HANDLE IS PULLED FULLY DOWN. THE DOOR SEEMS TO CRACK OPEN AN 1/8TH OF AN INCH BUT WON'T OPEN AND DROP DOWN. WE TRIED SEVERAL TIMES BUT STILL CAN'T GET THE DOOR TO OPEN. REPOSITIONED ONE SHIM FROM THE FORWARD RUB BLOCK ONTO THE AFT RUB BLOCK. CHECKED THE GAPS AT THE FORWARD AND AFT RUB BLOCKS. AT THIS TIME BOTH THE GAPS FOR THE FORWARD AND AFT RUB BLOCKS ARE WITHIN AMM LIMITS. PERFORMED CABIN DOOR OPERATIONAL CHECK. OPS CHECK OK. NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED AT THIS TIME. ALL WORK PERFORMED PER CESSSNA 680A AMM 52-10-45. COMPLIED WITH MAIN CABIN DOOR HEALTH CHECK. SUBMITTED FORM TO MCC FOR REVIEW. ALL WORK PERFORMED PER CESSNA 680A AMM 52-10-04.

EMERGENCY LIGHTING: LAST TWO MORNINGS HAD TO CHARGE THE EMERGENCY BATTERIES FOR 30 MINUTES TO GET A SATISFACTORY TEST GAINED ACCESS TO FORWARD EMERGENCY BATTERY INERTIA SWITCH AND RESET IAW CE680A MM CH. 33-50-11. POWERED AIRCRAFT AND ALLOWED EMERGENCY BATTERIES TO CHARGE FOR 2 HOURS. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL TEST OF THE EMERGENCY LIGHTING SYSTEM IAW CE680A MM CH. 35-50-00 WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. OPERATIONAL CHECK GOOD.
CABIN EMERG LIGHT: OPEN THE MAIN CABIN DOOR WITH BATTERIES, NOT PLUGGED IN TO FIND UNDER SEAT LIGHTING AND EMERGENCY EXIT SIGN ON. EMERGENCY LIGHTING: BOTH EXIT LIGHTS ON EITHER SIDE OF THE MAIN CABIN DOOR AND THE LIGHTS UNDER SEAT 10 STAY ILLUMINATED WITH THE EMER LIGHTS IN THE OFF POSITION. ACCESSED AND RESET INERTIA SWITCH IN CENTER PEDESTAL AND LIGHTS TURNED OFF, IAW CE680A 33-50-11
ON PREFLIGHT, WHEN EMER LIGHT- ARM SELECTED, THE LIGHTS DO NOT ACTIVATE. WITH NO POWER APPLIED TO AIRCRAFT, TECHS NOTED THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS WOULD NOT ILLUMINATE WHEN THE SWITCH WAS MOVED TO THE ARM. APPLIED POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT WITH THE MAIN BATTERIES AND GPU, NOTING ERNER LIGHTS WOULD TURN ON & OFF AS COMMANDED. SET SWITCH TO OFF POSITON AND CHARGED THE EMER LIGHTS BATTERIES FOR 2 HOURS IAW MM 33-50-00. PERFORMED THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS BATTERY OPS CHECK IAW MM 33-50-00, NOTING THAT THE FWD EXIT LIGHT & FLOOR PATH LIGHT UNDER FRD SIDE FACING SEAT, REMAINED ILLUMINATED WITH EMERGENCY LIGHT SWITCH OFF. TECHS NOTED THE NR 1 EMER LIGHTING INERTIA SWITCH WAS TRIPPED. RESET THE SWITCH & FWD EXIT LIGHT & FLOOR PATH LIGHT EXTINGUISHED. VERIFIED PROPER OPERATION OF NR 1 EMERGENCY INERTIA SWITCH IAW MM 33-50-00, NO DEFECTS NOTED. PERFORMED OPS CHECK OF THE ERNER LIGHTS IAW MM 33-50-00, NO DEFECTS NOTED. APPEARS THE NR 1 INERTIA SWITCH HAD MOST LIKELY TRIPPED DURING OR AFTER LANDING & LIGHTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE INERTIA SWITCH HAD REMAINED ON AFTER THE PILOTS SECURED THE AIRCRAFT. SUSPECTED G-SWITCH TO BE TRIPPED. REMOVED ACCESS PANEL AND RESET G-SWITCH. EMERGENCY LIGHTS ARE NO LONGER ON WITH BATTERIES DISCONNECTED. OPS CHECK GOOD. LANDING GEAR WOULD NOT EXTEND WHEN SELECTED DOWN. EMER/ABNORMAL CHECKLIST COMPLETED TO SECURE GEAR. EVALUATED THE PNEUMATIC GEAR BOTTLE FOR ACTUATION AND NOTICED BREAK AWAY SAFETY WIRE STILL INTACT AND BOTTLE VALVE ARM TO BE IN THE NORMAL POSITION. GEAR BOTTLE PSI WAS AT APPROX 1800. JACKED UP A/C, ON FIRST CYCLE UP OF GEAR NOTICED GEAR TO BE SLOW. (SUSPECT AIR IN GEAR HYD SYS). SECURED GEAR INTHE UPLOCK POSITION. PROCEEDED TO DO A GEAR BLOW-DOWN AND DUMP VAVLE CHECK, SINCE SUSPECT FLIGHT CREW DID NOT ORIGINALLY FULLY DISCHARGE BLOW DOWN BOTTLE TO THE LOCKED AND DISCHARGED POSITION. BLOW-DOWN OF GEAR AND INDICATOR LIGHTS CHECKED GOOD SO FAR DURING THIS PROCESS. RESET PNEUMATIC BOTTLE CONTROL. C/W SHORT CYCLING OF GEAR TO RESET SHUTTLE VALVES. PROCEEDED WITH MORE GEAR CYCLING TO PURGE HYD SYSTEM OF AIR. SERVICED PNEUMATIC BOTTLE. CONTINUED TO DO COMPLETE GEAR CYCLES, GEAR CYCLED NORMAL WITH NO FAULTS IN THE INDICATION LIGHTS. AFTER TAKEOFF, WHILE CLIMBING OUT OF 6000 FT, RED MASTER WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND LOW OIL PRESS LT LIGHT WAS FLASHING. LT OIL PRESS GAUGE WAS CHECKED AND INDICATED 0 PSI. EMERGENCY CHECKLIST ACCOMPLISHED AND LT ENGINE WAS SHUTDOWN. ENGINE PERFORMED INITIAL TROUBLESHOOTING. INSPECTED OIL FILTER AND OIL FILTER AND COLD START VALE WITH NO DEFECTS IAW ENGINE MM 79-20. (REF SQK 1.4) REMOVED LT ENGINE OIL PUMP IAW ENGINE MM 79-20-02. (REF. SQWK 1.10) ENGINE STILL HAS NO OIL PRESSURE; ENGINE IS TO BE CHANGED. REMOVED ENGINE AND INSTALLED A REPAIRED ENGINE IAW ENGINE MM 71-00-03. AND THE MM 71-00-03. REF SQK 1.41 ALL LEAK AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS OK.
AFTER TAKEOFF, WHILE CLIMBING OUT OF 6000', RED MASTER WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND LO OIL PRESS L LIGHT WAS FLASHING. L OIL PRESS GAUGE WAS CHECKED AND INDICATED O PSI. EMERGENCY CHECKLIST ACCOMPLISHED AND L ENGINE WAS SHUTDOWN. ENGINE, SN PCE-DB00655; PERFORMED INITIAL TROUBLESHOOTING- INSPECTED OIL FILTER AND OIL FILTER AND COLD START VALVE WITH NO DEFECTS IAW MM 79-20. REMOVED LT ENGINE OIL PUMP, PN 30J2705-02, SN 43A315 587 HOURS IAW MM CH 79-20-02. ENGINE STILL HAS NO OIL PRESSURE, REMOVED ENGINE, SN PCE-DB0655 AND INSTALLED A REPAIRED ENGINE SN PCE-DB0494 IAW MM CH 71-00-03. AND THE MM 71-00-03.
RT ENGINE EEC FAILED TO MANUAL DURING T/O ROLL. ABORTED TAKEOFF. REPLACED RT ENGINE BOV SERVO VALVE IAW CE560XL MAINTENANCE MANUAL CHAP 20-10-00 & P & W 535 MAINTENANCE CHAP 75-30-01. OPERATIONAL & LEAK CHECKS GOOD. CLEARED MEL.
DURING A PHASE 1-4 INSPECTION THE ELEVATOR TRIM CABLE ASSEMBLY WAS FOUND TO BE FRAYED WHERE IT PASSES THROUGH THE HORIZONTAL STABLIZER. THE CABLE APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN INSTALLED PROPERLY AND IT DOES NOT LOOK AS IF IT WAS DAMAGED DURING INSTALLATION. AN SCR HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO CESSNA CITATION UNDER 242172.
LT N1 GAGE INDICATED 0 JUST AFTER POWER UP AT T/O. NO TAPE OR DIGITS. RAN LT ENGINE TO T/O POWER . N1 TAPE HAD NO DEFECTS. REMOVED UPPER AND LOWER LT ENGINE COWLS TO GAIN ACCESS TO N1 SENSOR. RANG OUT SENSOR IAW PWA MM CH. 77-10-01. NO DEFECTS NOTED. COULD NOT DUPLICATE SQUAWK.
PERFORMED AILERON WING CABLE INSPECTION PER CESSNA ASL560XL-27-12, FOUND CABLES CHAFED/BROKEN BEYOND MANUFACTURER'S LIMITS. REMOVED AND REPLACED LEFT AND RIGHT WING AILERON CABLES IAW CESSNA 560XL MM CHAPTER 27-10-03.

REPAIRED WIRE AND RE-ROUTED WIRE BUNDLE. IAW CHAP 20-10-06 TABLE 6, AND 20-21-03 FOR RE-ROUTING OF WIRE BUNDLE.
