RIGHT TURNS IT IS NOT AS APPARENT. REPEAT WRITE UP. REMOVED LT BRAKE ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLED OVERHAULED LH BRAKE ASSEMBLY. PERFORMED EMERGENCY BRAKE OPS CHECK AND BRAKE BLEEDING. ALL COMPLETED IAW AMM 32-42-01. COMPLETED TAXI CHECK AND FOUND LT BRAKE NO LONGER DRAGGING AND ANTI-SKID SWITCH OPS CHECK GOOD.

MAIN CABIN DOOR DESCENDS TOO RAPIDLY AND REQUIRES MORE FORCE THAN NORMAL TO CLOSE. ARRIVED AT AC. CONFIRMED DISCREPANCY. DOOR OPENS VERY FAST. TECHS PREPPED AC FOR MX. TECHS TIGHTENED UP INTERIA REEL TO SLOW DOWN DOOR DECENT. AFTER NUMEROUS ADJUSTMENTS, AC DOOR OPENS AND CLOSED AS ADVERTISED. DISCREPANCY NO LONGER STANDS. CLOSED UP ACCESS. WORK DONE IAW AMM 52-10-03.
DOOR WILL NOT LATCH OPEN WHEN PULLED TO THE OPEN POSITION. WHEN TURNING DOOR HANDLE TO OPEN IT FAILS TO RELEASE THE DOOR. I HAVE TO CYCLE THE HANDLE TO LOCK AND OPEN SEVERAL TIMES AND THEN IT OPENS. THE SPRING IS ALSO VERY TIGHT WHEN PULLING THE DOOR OPEN. THIS IS A PREVIOUS WRITE UP. CORRECTIVE ACTION: FOUND MAIN CABIN ENTRY DOOR TO HAVE EXCESSIVE TENSION ON THE COUNTER BALANCE ASSEMBLY. WHEN THE DOOR WAS SLAMMING SHUT IT ENABLED THE PRE CATCH TO ENGAGE AND THE ONLY WAY TO OPEN WAS TO LOCK/UNLOCK DOOR AGAIN( OR DISENGAGE PRE CATCH FROM EXTERIOR). THE DOOR WAS DIFFICULT TO OPEN DUE TO EXCESSIVE TENSION. WE ADJUSTED THE DOOR COUNTER BALANCE ASSY IAW C560XL AMM 52-10-03. ALL OPS CHECKS GOOD.
ENGINE INSTRUMENT SPOTLIGHT ( TRAY LIGHT UNDER GLARESHIELD ) IS INOPERATIVE.(EMERGENCY LIGHT) REPLACED LIGHT. OPS CHECK GOOD. IAW AMM 33-10-02.
MAIN CABIN SPADE DOOR CATCH BLOCKING SPADE DOOR FROM CLOSING, WHICH BLOCKS THE MAIN CABIN DOOR FROM CLOSING. ARRIVED ONSITE AND VERIFIED THAT THE SPADE DOOR ATTACHING LINK BEARING THAT ATTACHED TO THE MED MECH HAS SHEARED. MCC VERIFIED THAT THIS ACFT IS POST SB560XL-52-17. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO REMOVE SHEARED BEARING, TECHS FOUND BOLT HAS CORRODED & IS NOW SEIZED WITHIN THE MED MECH. REMOVAL OF SEIZED HARDWARE, GAINED ACCESS TO THE INNER PORTION AND MED IAW MM 52-10-02. REMOVED THE LOWER BELLCRANK IAW MM 52-10-05. REMOVED SEIZED HARDWARE & BROKEN SPADE DOOR LINK ASSY FROM THE LOWER BELLCRANK ASSY AS REQUIRED. INSTALLED THE LOWER BELLCRANK IAW MM 52-10-05. INSTALLED THE NEW SPADE DOOR LINK.
CLIMBING THROUGH FL230, SMOKE OF MODERATE INTENSITY WAS PROPELLED FROM THE LEFT PILOT SIDE BOTTOM OF THE PANEL TO THE TOP OF THE GLARESHIELD. AFTER APPROXIMATELY 2 SECONDS THE SMOKE DISSIPATED AND DID NOT RETURN. AMBER PFD 1 ANNUNCIATOR BRIEFLY ILLUMINATED WITH THE EVENT. NO FUNCTIONALITY OF AVIONICS WAS LOST. THE SMOKE SMELLED OF ELECTRICAL SOURCE. CORRECTIVE ACTION: REMOVED PFD 1 DUE TO SMOKE FROM PFD 1. THEN INSTALLED CUSTOMER SUPPLIED REPAIRED DISPLAY UNIT. OPS CHECK GOOD. THE AFT CABLE WAS CONSIDERABLY HIGHER TENSION THAN THE FORWARD CABLE. REMOVED THE TOP STEP AND FIXED STEPS TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE COUNTERBALANCE ASSEMBLY. PERFORMED ADJUSTMENT OF THE AFT CABLE TO BRING IT CLOSER TO MATCHING THE FORWARD CABLE. REASSEMBLED THE STEPS AND PERFORMED FUNCTIONAL CHECK OF THE DOOR WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME. DOOR NO LONGER SLAMS HARD, BUT OPERATES SMOOTHLY WITH ALL CABLE TENSIONS WITHIN LIMITS AND WHEN THE HANDLE IS MOVED TO THE OPEN POSITION, THE DOOR CLEARS THE PRE-CATCH AND OPERATES SMOOTHLY. CABIN ODOR: STINKY FOUL SMELL COMING OUT OF WEEMACS WITH APU BLEED AIR ON. SUSPECT A DIRTY CONDENSOR SOCK IS THE CULPRIT. UNSUITABLE SMELL FOR PASSENGERS. VERIFIED THE SQK AND REMOVED THE WATER SEPARATOR, AND ONCE IT WAS OPENED IT UP, IT WAS THE EXACT SAME SMELL THAT WAS IN THE COCKPIT. THE CONDENSER BAG P/N: 83237-12, WAS REMOVED AND A NEW CONDENSER BAG P/N:83237-12 WAS INSTALLED. THE WATER SEPARATOR WAS RE-INSTALLED AND SECURED. OPS CHECK GOOD, NO SMELL PRESENT OUT OF THE VENTS. ALL WORK PERFORMED IAW CE-560XL AMM 21-51-00.
MAIN DOOR HARDWARE: MAIN CABIN DOOR OVER CENTER DOWN LOCK WHEN DOOR IS OPEN DISENGAGES AND WILL NOT LOCK DOWN. DOWNLOADED FAULTS USING THE LITEF WINDOWS DIAGNOSTICS PROGRAM WITH NO RECENT FAULTS IN THE HISTORY. THE FAULT OF "HEADING PLAUSIBILITY TEST FAIL" WHICH WAS ON RH AHRU LISTS POSSIBLE CAUSES AS; FLUX-VALVE NOT CALIBRATED,FLUX VALVE DEFECTIVE, FLUX VALVE INSTALLATION FAULTY OR AHRU DEFECTIVE. INSPECTED LH AND RH FLUX VALVES FINDING NO FAULTS WITH WIRING OR PHYSICAL VALVES, INSPECTED INSTALLATION OF EACH FINDING EACH TIGHT AND SECURE AND WITH NO MAGNETIC SCREWS IN VICINITY. COMPLIED WITH AIRFRAME MAGNETISM CHECK OVER THE TAILCONE, LEFT/RIGHT HORIZONTAL STAB, AND LEFT/RIGHT SIDE OF VERTICAL STAB. NO MAGNETISM WAS FOUND. WITH TAIL FLOODLIGHT SWITCH ON, THE LEFT FLUX VALVE HEADING VALUE DEFLECTED .4 DEGREES WHICH IS WITHIN SPEC. DURING REMOVAL OF LIGHT ASSEMBLY FOUND THE OUTER SHIELD CHAFED THROUGH TO THE INNER WIRES (INNER WIRES INTACT) REPAIRED WIRING BY TRIMMING BACK TO INTACT SHIELD. REMOVED AHRS #2(PIN 142185-1100, SIN 2492) AND INSTALLED A REPAIRED EXCHANGE UNIT.

IN FLIGHT THE POWER BRAKE CIRCUIT BREAKER TRIPPED TWICE AND ANTI-SKID MASTER CAUTION DISPLAYED. RAN CHECKLIST. LANDED USING EMERGENCY BRAKES. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE MOTOR IAW MM 32-44-020.
RIGHT ENGINE FWD LOWER ENGINE MOUNT HAS TWO LOOSE LOCK FASTENERS. REMOVED AND REPLACED IAW ERO-858851.
DURING A SCHEDULED INSPECTION, FOUND RT ELEVATOR OTBD HINGE CRACKED, VERIFIED WITH NDT, R & R HINGE.
DURING A SCHEDULED INSPECTION, FOUND A CRACK ON THE ELEVATOR RT INBD HINGE THAT ATTACHES TO THE STABILIZER. VERIFIED CRACK WITH NDT, R & R HINGE.
DURING A SCHEDULED INSPECTION, FOUND AN AREA OF CORRISION ON THE FWD MAIN CABIN DOOR HINGE, THAT IS ATTACHED TO THE DOOR FRAME. FOUND THE CORRISION ON THE FWD EDGE OF THE HINGE, PREFORMED A DYE-PEN CHECK AND FOUND THE HINGE TO BE CRACKED. THIS IS THE THIRD HINGE FOUND CORRODED AND CRACKED.
DURING TAKEOFF ROLL, PRIOR TO 70KTS, MASTER CAUTION ILLUMINATED WITH ANTISKID INOPERATIVE CAUTION LIGHT. TAKEOFF WAS ABORTED. LIGHTS STAYED ON APROX 3 SECOND, WENT OUT, AND ILLUMINATED AGAIN DURING ROLLOUT FOR ANOTHER 3-4 SECONDS. R & R RT WHEEL SPEED TRANSDUCER WITH O/H UNIT IAW AMM 32-42-07. OPS CHECKED GOOD.
NOSE WHEEL SHIMMY ON T/O AND LANDING ROLL. TROUBLSHOT NOSE WHEEL SHIMMY INSPECTED NW STEARING, GOOD, INSPECTED NG TORQUE LINKS, GOOD INSPECTED NOSE WHELL ASSY GOOD. FOUND SHIMMY DAMPER HEADS SERVICED, SERVICED SHIMMY DAMPER IAW MM 12-14-01, LEAK CHECKED GOOD.
AFTER TAKEOFF, FLAPS WERE COMMANDED UP AS NORMAL. CREW NOTICED AMBER STAB MISCOMPARE WARNING. FLAP INDICATOR SHOWED FLAPS STUCK AT 7 DEGREES. CREW NOTICED HYD CONTROL CIRCUIT BREAKER POPPED. ONE RESET ATTEMPTED BUT FAILED. MLG HANDLE SELECTED, BUT MLG FAILED TO EXTEND. EMERGENCY MLG EXTENSION SUCCESSFUL, FOLLOWED BY A FLAP 7APP/ LANDING. ALL PREFLIGHT INDICATIONS & TAXI CHECKS NORMAL. FOUND WIRE APY044-KPS002-(20) DAMAGED AT HYR LOADING VALVE CONNECTOR PY044. REPAIRED WIRE IAW WIRING DIAGRAM MANUAL 20-10-01AND XLS WDM 32-30-01. OPS CHECK GOOD. RESET EMERGENCY GEAR AND BRAKE PNEUMATIC BOTTLE. SAFETIED LEVER & SERVICED NITROGEN IAW MM 32-01-00.
DURING T/O CLIMBOUT, CREW DETECTED AN ODOR THAT RESEMBLED BURNING PLASTIC. ODOR CONTINUED TO GET WORSE AS CREW EXECUTED IMMEDIATE RETURN TO DEPARTURE. ODOR STOPPED AFTER LANDING. REMOVED AND REPLACED LT AND RT OZONE CONVERTERS IAW MM 21-71-00. OPS AND LEAK CHECK GOOD. NO ODORS NOTED.
LEAVING 11,000, STRONG BURNING ODOR FILLED COCKPIT AREA. APU - OFF, ANTI ICE - ON, TURNED PRESSURIZATION, ANTI-ICE, INTERIOR MASTER OFF. ODOR PERSISTED. 15 MIN AFTER LANDING, WITH MAIN DOOR CLOSED, ENTIRE INSIDE HAD STRONG BURNING ODOR, COCKPIT WAS VERY STRONG. PERFORM WARM AIR DISTRUBUTION CHECK, CE560XLMM 21-22-00, NO DEFECTS. COMPLIED WITH COLD AIR DISTRIBUTION CHECK, CE560XLMM 21-21-00, NO DEFECTS. PERFORMED WING ENGINE ANTI-ICE CHECK CE560XL MM 30-11-00, NO DEFECTS.
