EMERGENCY FLOOR LIGHTING UNDER LAV IS INOPERATIVE. FOUND LIGHT STRIP CONNECTOR INSTALLED INCORRECTLY. RECONNECTED CONNECTOR PROPERLY AND LIGHTS OPS CHECK GOOD.WORK PERFORMED IN REF TO AMM 33-20-00.
AFTER APU START WITH ACFT ON, A PLASTIC BURNING SMELL OCCURRED INSIDE THE AIRCRAFT. AFTER RUNNING THE APU FOR TEN MINUTES, WE COULD NOT REPLICATE THE BURNING PLASTIC SMELL, ALL WORK PERFORMED IAW AMM: 49-10-00.
IMMEDIATELY AFTER TAKE OFF PRIMARY TRIM FAILED TO A NOSE UP POSITION AND WOULD NOT RESPOND. WENT TO SECONDARY TRIM AND WAS ABLE TO CONTROL A/C. WORKED QRH AND DID A FLAP 2 LANDING. A/C WAS UNDER LANDING WEIGHT AND AIR SPEED NEVER GOT ABOVE 200 KNOTS SO NO LIMITATIONS WERE EXCEEDED. FORGOT TO TAKE PICTURE OF CAS MESSAGE PRI STAB TRIM FAIL, AND IT WENT AWAY ON ENG SHUTDOWN. ALSO PRIMARY TRIM STILL DOES NOT WORK AFTER SHUTDOWN. CORRECTIVE ACTION: TROUBLESHOOT TO FIND AUTOPILOT/TRIM/NOSEWHEEL STEERING DISCONNECT SWITCH WERE THE CAUSE OF THE DISCREPANCY. REMOVED AND REPLACED BOTH PILOT AND COPILOT AUTOPILOT/TRIM/NOSEWHEEL STEERING DISCONNECT SWITCH. PERFORMED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL VERIFICATION. ALL WORK PERFORMED REF CE680A 22-10-50.
MULTIPLE AREAS OF CORROSION FOUND ON THE COVE, LEFT AND RIGHT OF THE VERTICAL SKIN. THE NETJETS REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL SERVICES (RFTS) RFTS-110558 REV. 0 DATED APRIL 04, 2024 WAS ACCOMPLISHED TO REPAIR THE COVE, LEFT AND RIGHT OF THE VERTICAL SKIN.
DURING PREFLIGHT, FOUND EMERGENCY AISLE PATH LIGHTING UNDER SEAT 10 TO BE INOPERATIVE. FOUND EMERGENCY LIGHT NOT PLUGED IN. REMOVED PASS SEAT LOWER BASE TO LOCATE OTHER END OF THE PLUG STUCK UNDER SEAT BASE. REINSTALLED SEAT BASE IAW CESSNA MODEL 680A INTERIOR MM 25-20-21, RE-ROUTED PLUG CONNECTER IN CORRECT POSITION AND RESECURED TO TIE WRAP POINTS AFER PLUGGING BACK IN,WORK PERFORMED IAW SPMM 20-30-20. LIGHT, WORKS AS REQUIRED NO DEFECT NOTED AT THIS TIME
DEPARTING KTEX THE MLG FAILED TO RETRACT COMPLETELY. PERFORMANCE DEGRADED & A NOISE ASSOCIATED WITH CONFIGURATION. FOLLOWED THE CHECKLIST AND DIVERTED. VISUALLY INSPECTED NLG & COMPLETED NLG STEERING - ADJUSTMENT/TEST TO VERIFY MLG RETRACTS WITH NOSE WHEELS CENTERED, NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED IAW MM 32-50-00. CHECKED RIG OF NLG UP-LOCK SWITCH & CYCLED THE NLG SEVERAL TIMES WITH NO DISCREPANCIES IAW MM 32-32-10. ARES WAS SENT FOR REVIEW BY PREVIOUS CREW & DOWNLOAD SHOWED THE NLG SQUAT SWITCH INTERMITTENTLY FAILED DURING RETRACTION. REMOVED NLG SQUAT SWITCH IAW MM 32-60-10. INSTALLED REPLACEMENT NLG SQUAT SWITCH AND ADJUSTED NLG HARNESS FOR PROPER FITMENT, OPS CHECKS GOOD, IAW MM 32-20-00 AND 32-60-05.
MAIN EXIT SIGN/LIGHT: THE MAIN EXIT SIGN AND SEAT 10 EMERGENCY LIGHTS REMAIN ILLUMINATED WITH EMER LTS SWITCH IN THE OFF POSITION. GAINED ACCESS TO THE# I EMERGENCY BATTERY PACK. REMOVED AND INSTALLED REPAIRED UNIT. CHARGED THE BATTERY FOR 60 MINUTES. OPS CHECK OG BATTERY AND EMERGENCY LIGHTS ARE GOOD. CLOSED ALL ACCESSED ITEMS. WORKED IAW CE-680A 33-50-06.
CABIN EMERG LIGHT: ON POST FLIGHT DISCOVERED BATTERY 2 AND BATTERY PACK 4 INOP
EMERGENCY LIGHTS BATTERY: FORWARD EMERGENCY LIGHTS REMAIN ON (FWD EXIT SIGN, RED EXIT SIGNS AT BASE OF DOOR AND LIGHT BELOW SEAT 10) WITH SWITCHES OFF AND BATTERIES DISCONNECTED. // SIGNOFF // REMOVED AND REPLACE# 1 EMERGENCY BATTERY WITH A MODIFIED UNIT AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD IAW CE-680A MM 33-50-06.
EMERG EXIT SIGN/LIGHT: WHILE SECURING THE AIRCRAFT, FOUND THE MAIN CABIN DOOR EXIT SIGN LIT WITH THE EMERGENCY LIGHT AND BATTERY SWITCHES OFF. THE FLOOR EXIT PATH LIGHT UNDER PAX SEAT 10 IS ALSO ON.///SIGN-OFF///REMOVED AND REPLACED THE #1 EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY PACK WITH A REPAIRED UNIT IAW CE-680A MM CH. 33-50-06. OPS CHECK GOOD.
EMERG LIGHT SWITCH: WITH EMER LTS SWITCH IN ARM POSITION NO EMER LIGHTS ILLUMINATE. EMER LIGHTS DO ILLUMINATE IN THE ON POSITION.
EMERG EXIT SIGN/LIGHT: WITH MAIN BATTERIES SELECTED OFF AND EMERGENCY LIGHTS ALSO OFF, CABIN DOOR SIGN/LIGHT AND SEAT 10 TOE KICK LIGHTS WILL NOT EXTINGUISH.///SIGN-OFF///REMOVED AND REPLACED EMERGENCY BATTERY PACK. IAW CE680A AMM 33-50-00, 33-59-11 & WD 33-50-06. OPS CHECK GOOD.
EMERGENCY LIGHT SWITCH IN ARMED POSITION WITH BATTERY SWITCH OFF DOES NOT ILLUMINATE LIGHTING. REMOVED AND REPLACED NR 1 EMERGENCY LIGHTS BATTERY PACK, IAW CE 680A AMM 33-50-06. CHARGED UP ALL EMERGENCY LIGHTS BATTERY PACKS AND PERFORMED EMERGENCY LIGHTS OPERATIONAL CHECK, IAW CE-680A AMM 33-50-00. SYSTEM OPERATIONS CHECKS GOOD, NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED AT THIS TIME.
PREFLIGHT TEST OF EMERGENCY LIGHTS FAILED. WITH THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS SWITCH IN ARM WITH BATTERIES OFF, NO EMERGENCY LIGHTS ARE ILLUMINATED. SIGNOFF. PERFORMED OPERATIONS CHECK OF EMERGENCY LIGHTING, OPERATIONS CHECKS GOOD, EMERGENCY LIGHTS WORK PER AMM. NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED. ALL WORK DONE IAW CE-680A AMM CH 33-50-00.
AFTER RELEASING PARKING BRAKE HANDLE, LOW BRAKE PRESSURE AND ANTI SKID INOPERATIVE LIGHTS CAME ON FLASHING. RAN EMERGENCY CHECKLIST AND SHUTDOWN ENGINES. EMERGENCY BRAKE HANDLE WAS NOT PULLED. R & R THE HYD PACK FOR BRAKE SYS AS WELL AS BLEED BUTTON VALVE FOR BRAKE ACCUMULATOR IAW MM 32-42-06. OPS & LEAK CHECKED GOOD.
SMOKE IN CABIN AFTER APU BLEED AIR TURNED ON. OPERATED APU AND BLEED AIR AND VERIFIED DISCREPANCY. NOTED AN OIL ODOR WHEN CABIN WAS FILLED WITH SMOKE. TURNED OFF APU. ACCESSED APU AND DISCONNECTED MAIN BLEED AIR LINE AND FOUND EVIDENCE OF OIL LEAKING INTERNALLY FROM APU. CLEANED WATER SEPARATOR, RAN ENGINES AGAIN. OPS CHECKS GOOD IAW MM 21-51-00. LEAK CHECKED GOOD. REMOVED APU AND INSTALLED "REPAIRED" APU. OP'S & LEAK CHECKED GOOD. WORK PERFORMED IAW MM 49-10-00.
AFTER TAKEOFF AND REACHING 4000 FT NOTED SMOKE FILLING COCKPIT WITH APU ON. SHUT APU DOWN SMOKE DISSIPATED RETURNED TO FIELD. REMOVED WATER SEPARATOR, FOUND WATER SEPARATOR AND SOCK DIRTY, CLEANED WATER SEPARATOR AND SOCK. INSTALLED AND ASSEMBLED WATER SEPARATOR ASSY WORK DONE IAW MM CH 12-19-02. RAN APU VERIFIED NO SMOKE OR OIL ODOR IN CABIN. LEAK CHECKED GOOD ON ALL LINES EXCEPT ONE DUCT FROM ACM, REPOSISTIONED CLAMP ON ACM DUCT AND RAN AGAIN, LEAK CHECKED GOOD.
DURING FLIGHT THE "ENGINE ANTI ICE R" LIGHT ILLUMINATED WITH THE SWITCH IN THE "OFF' POSITION. LIGHT EXTINGUISHED WHEN SWITCH MOVED TO "ENGINE" POSITION.
DURING CLIMB OUT OR LEVEL OFF BELOW FL 260 AT 250 TO 280 KIAS THERE IS A VERTICAL VIBRATION IN THE AIRFRAME FELT IN THE FLOOR AND SEATS AND VISIBLE AS FWD AND AFT MOVEMENT IN THE YOKE. REMOVED AND REPLACED RT ELEVATOR TRIM TAB HORN BEARINGS IAW MM 20-10-08. OPS AND TRAVEL CHECK GOOD.
RT ENGINE FUEL FILTER BYPASS LIGHT ILLUMINATED DURING ENGINE ACCELERATION DURING TAKEOFF. EXTINGUISHED AT IDLE. LIGHT ILLUMINATED AGAIN DURING 2 SUBSEQUENT RUN UP TESTS. INSTALLED A NEW FUEL FILTER ELEMENT ON RT ENGINE IAW MM CH 73-10-05. OPERATED RT ENGINE FOR 5 MINUTES AT TAKEOFF POWER DETENT, NO DEFECTS NOTED.
AIR DUCT OVERHEAT COCKPIT LIGHT ILLUMINATED 30 SECONDS AFTER TAKEOFF, PASSENGERS SAW SMOKE IN THE CABIN. SELECTED MANUAL TEMPERATURE CONTROL TO COLD FOR 30 SECONDS WITHOUT A CHANGE, THE SOURCE TEMP REACHED 325 DEGREES, EMERGENCY DECLARED, AIRCRAFT DIVERTED TO CHS AND LANDED SAFELY. COMPLIED WITH GROUND RUN CHECKS OF THE TEMP CONTROL SYSTEM, NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED, CHECKED ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ON CONTROLLER & COCKPIT TEMP CONTROL VALVE. REMOVED & REPLACED VALVE DUE TO CESSNA RECOMMENDATION. SYSTEM OPS CHECK & LEAK CHECK GOOD ON GROUND RUN. ALL WORK DONE IAW CESSNA 560XL MM CHAPTER 21-61-00.
