FOLLOWED EPC PROCEDURES FOR CABIN FUMES. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT CONFIRMED THE GASOLINE ODOR IN THE GALLEY CART AND NO WHERE ELSE ON THE AIRCRAFT. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE RIGHT GALLEY CART AS REQUIRED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
FOR FLIGHT 4322 DURING INSPECTION FOUND AN OIL SMELL IN THE COCKPIT WITH THE NUMBER 1 BLEED AND PACK ON. THE AIRCRAFT WAS REMOVED FROM SERVICE. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE NR 1 ENGINE IAW 71-000-00. THE OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS GOOD. NO LEAKS NOTED. THE CAUSE OF THE SMOKE WAS DETERMINED TO BE FROM A FAULTY NR 4 CARBON SEAL. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
ON FLIGHT 3218 THE CREW REPORTED THE BAGGAGE DOOR WARNING ILLUMINATED ON CLIMBOUT. THE CREW REPORTED, NEVER LOST PRESSURE AT 1500 FEET. THE CREW ELECTED TO RETURN TO DFW. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS REMOVED FROM SERVICE. CLEANED AND LUBRICATED THE BAGGAGE DOOR MICRO SWITCHES AND PERFORMED MULTIPLE OPERATIONAL CHECKS OF THE BAGGAGE DOOR WARNING SYSTEM. NO PARTS REMOVED OR REPLACED. ALL CHECKS GOOD PER EMB AMM 52-76-00. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
ON FLIGHT 3686, CREW REPORTED UPON LANDING A "GIVE" IN THE BRAKING. THIS WAS FOLLOWED BY "BRAKE DEGRADED" EICAS CAUTION MESSAGE. AIRCRAFT TOOK LONGER TO SLOW AND ATC INFORMED THE CREW THEY SAW A "PUFF" OF SMOKE FROM THE RIGHT WHEEL. CREW CALLED FOR CFR AIRCRAFT WAS TOWED BACK TO GATE. AIRCRAFT REMOVED FROM SERVICE. REMOVED AND REPLACED BRAKE NUMBER 3 AND 4, WHEEL ASSY 3 AND NR 3 BRAKE LINE. OPERATION CHECK GOOD. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
ON FLIGHT 4207, CREW REPORTED ON CLIMB-OUT THERE WAS SOME FUEL VENTING FROM THE RIGHT WING VENT VALVE. SERVICED TANKS TO 10600 LBS AND WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE LEAK. OK PER EMB AMM 28-12-00 OVERWEIGHT LANDING. AIRCRAFT REMOVED FROM SERVICE. DESCENT WAS UNDER 300 FPM, NO MAINTENANCE ACTION REQUIRED FOR OVERWEIGHT LANDING. INSPECTED AIRCRAFT, NO ACTION REQUIRED PER EMB AMM 28-12-00 AND NR 8194; AND NR 8194; AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
RUDDER SYS 1 AND 2 INOP DURING FLIGHT. REMOVED AND REPLACED NUMBER 2 RUDDER PRESSURE SWITCH IAW EMB 145 AMM 27-23-04. OPS CHECK GOOD IAW EMB 145 AMM 27-23-00, AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
HUMMING NOISE INFLIGHT WITH FLAPS IN UP POSITION, NOISE GOES AWAY WITH FLAPS DEPLOYED. REMOVED AND REPLACED PCA AND COMPLIED WITH LEFT INBOARD FLAP SEAL PLATE MOD IAW EMB AMM 27-12-01. OPERATIONAL CHECKED GOOD WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED, RETURNED AIRCRAFT TO SERVICE.
LEFT LOWER FUSELAGE SKIN DAMAGED BETWEEN FRAMES 63 AND 65 AT STRINGER 19L, 20L AND 21L. CUT OUT DAMAGED AREA, FABRICATED AND INSTALLED REPAIR PARTS IAW EMB IC2004-145/03857A, IC2007-145-03878 AND IC2007-145/03912. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
PITCH TRIM INOP MESSAGE AT 37,000 FEET, BACKUP SYSTEM WORKED NORMAL. REMOVED AND REPLACED HORIZONTAL STABLIZER ACTUATOR IAW EMB AMM 27-40-02. OPERATIONAL CHECK GOOD, PERFORMED FUNCTIONAL CHECK FLIGHT WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. RETURNED AIRCRAFT TO SERVICE.
