REMOVED LH SUSPECTED DEFECTIVE FUEL PRESSURE SWITCH P/N:9914488-2, S/N:2423753 AND INSTALLED A CUSTOMER SUPPLIED NEW FUEL PRESSURE SWITCH P/N:9914488-2, S/N:2539025. PERFORMED SATISFACTORY OPS/LEAK CHECKS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. ALL WORK PERFORMED IN REF WITH CE-680A AMM 73-10-00.
UPON SHUTDOWN, ONE OF US NOTICED THAT THE EMER LIGHTS WERE ALL OFF BEFORE THE OTHER ONE TURNED OFF THE SWITCH. UPON TROUBLESHOOTING, IT SEEMS THAT THE EMER LIGHTS DO NOT ILLUMINATE WITH THE MAIN BATTERIES TURNED OFF, AND THE EMER LIGHT SWITCH IN THE ARM POSITION. TURNING THE EMER LIGHTS TO ON ILLUMINATES ABOUT HALF OF THE LIGHTS. IF YOU TURN MAIN SHIP POWER ON AND TURN EMER LIGHTS TO ON ALL OF THE LIGHTS ILLUMINATE CORRECTLY. CORRECTIVE ACTION: REPLACED BATTERY PACKS. OPS CHECK GOOD. IAW CE-680A AMM 33-50-06.
WE FELT AND HEARD A VERY NOTICABLE "CLUNK" AT 200' AGL ON APPROACH. DURING POSTFLIGHT, FOUND EVIDENCE OF BIRD STRIKE ON RIGHT WING LEADING EDGE DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ENGINE. LARGE BLOOD SPATTERS ON UNDERSIDE OF COWLING, AND BLOOD SCATTERED ON SPINNER AND INSIDE OF ENGINE INLET. REAR OF ENGINE SHOWS UNUSUAL AMOUNT OF OIL STREAKING INSIDE. CORRECTIVE ACTION: INSPECTED ENGINE. NO DEFECTS NOTED. OPS CHECK GOOD. IAW MM 05-50-00, EMM 05-50-00, 74-10-01, AMM 05-50-00 PER AAIP.

DURING PREFLIGHT INSPECTION FOUND LAV EMERGENCY FLOOR FLOOD LIGHT INOP AND LOSE WIRE IN PROXIMITY. RECONNECTED THE CONNECTOR AT THE TOE KICK OF THE RIGHT LAV SEAT AND OPS CHECKED GOOD REF CE 680A AMM 33-50-00

MAIN DOOR: MAIN CABIN DOOR BINDS SLIGHTLY AT TOP OF TRAVEL. NEEDS SMALL PUSH TO OPEN FROM INSIDE AIRCRAFT. // SIGNOFF// FOUND MED RUBBING AGAINST THE FORWARD RUB BLOCK. ADJUSTED THE FORWARD THE FORWARD RUB BLOCK IAW CESSNA 680A AMM CH 52-10-00 OPS CHECK IS GOOD.
CABIN SMOKE: WHILE ON GROUND WITH APU ON, A FINE MIST WITH AN ODOR OF ENGINE OIL BEGAN TO APPEAR & THICKENED UNTIL BLEED AIR TURNED OFF. COMPLIED WITH TC-68A-21-181006M ENVIRON CONTROL SYS BLEED DUCT BURN PROCEDURE & NOTED SMOKE WHILE DOING PROCEDURE. FOUND APU OIL LEVEL LOW NO OIL ON APU OIL DIP STICK. NOTICED OIL ON APU INLET DRAIN LINES. MCC REQUEST TO BOROSCOPE APU & LOOK FOR INTERNAL OIL LEAKS.PERFORMED BORESCOPE OF APU. COMPLIED WITH ENVIRON CONTROL SYSTEM BLEED DUCT BURN PROCEDURE WITH ENGINES RUNNING ONLY & NO SMOKE NOTED IN COCKPIT & CABIN. REMOVED & REPLACED HEPA FILTER WITH A CUSTOMER SUPPLIED NEW PART PER NJA TASK TC-68A-21-181006M & AMM 21-70-10.
MAIN DOOR: MAIN CABIN ENTRY DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN AFTER LANDING. DOOR LEVER WOULD NOT DISENGAGE AFTER PRESSING RED HANDLE RELEASE BUTTON. TURNING OFF APU HAD NO EFFECT. MED WAS OPENED BY GROUND PERSONNEL BEING INSTRUCTED VIA TELEPHONE USING NORMAL DOOR OPENING PROCEDURE FROM OUTSIDE THE AIRCRAFT. FOUND CABIN DOOR LOCK RELEASE SWITCH WIRE DISCONNECTED.RECONNECTED WIRE TO SWITCH POST REF CE-680A M/M 52-10-16 OPS CHECK GOOD.
MAIN EXIT SIGN/LIGHT: EXIT SIGN OVER MAIN ENTRY DOOR WILL NOT EXTINGUISH WITH EMERGENCY LIGHT SWITCH SELECTED OFF. RESET #1 INERTIA SWITCH AND EXTINGUISHED EXIT SIGN OVER MAIN ENTRY DOOR. IAW 680A AMM 33-50-00.
BRAKE PUMP FAILED, CREW USED THE EMER BRAKING SYS DURING TAXI IN. ANTISKID LIGHT CAME ON IN FLIGHT , ALSO POWER BRAKE C/B POPPED. AS PER THE CHECKLIST PWR/BRKS C/B WAS RESET BEFORE LANDING AND THE C/B POPPED AGAIN. THE LANDING WAS UNEVENTFUL AND AFTER WE CONTINUED THE TAXI THE LOW BRAKE PRESS LIGHT CAME ON AND THE AIRPLANE DID NOT STOP, SO I HAD TO USE THE EMER BRAKE HANDLE TO STOP . CLEAR HYDRAULIC FLUID WAS COMING OUT OUT OF THE VENT LOCATED ON NOSE. REMOVED & REPLACED HIGH PRESSURE SWITCH & PUMP RELAY. RESET BRAKE SHUTTLE VALVES. BLED BRAKES. SERVICED RESERVOIR & N2 BOTTLE. LEAK AND OPS CHECKS GOOD. WORK DONE IAW CE-560XL MM CHAPTER 32-44-20.
SMOKE FILLED COCKPIT & CABIN AFTER ACTIVATION OF BLEED AIR ON APU. BORESCOPED APU INLET AREA AND IMPELLER. HEAVY AMOUNTS OF OIL THROUGHOUT THE AREA. REMOVED APU IAW MM 498-10-00 AND DRAINED OIL. CLEANED OUT APU CONTAINMENT BOX AS REQUIRED. INSTALLED THE APU IAW MM 49-10-00. APU OPS AND LEAK CHECKED GOOD. INSTALLED CONTAINMENT BOX ACCESS PANEL AND APU ACCESS PANEL. INSTALLED CONTAINMENT BOX, APU ACCESS PANELS. INSTALLED CONTAINMENT BOX ACCESS PANEL. OVERSEALED. INSTALLED APU ACCESS PANEL.

RUDDER AUTOPILOT SERVO BRACKET CRACKED AT UPPER RIVET.
AFTER LANDING AT DESTINATION, STARTED APU DURING TAXI IN. START NORMAL AND GENERATOR LOADED. AFTER 20 SECONDS, A HARD THUMP AND APU DROPPED OFF LINE. SMELLED ELECTRICAL FUMES IN IN MAIN CABIN. SECURED APU. APU WAS SEIZED. ATTEMPTED TO CONNECT WITH LAPTOP TO GET APU CYCLES. LAPTOP WOULD NOT CONNECT WITH APU. REPLACED FAILED APU WITH OPERATOR SUPPLIED UNIT IAW MM 49-10-00. ENABLED C/B'S. OPS/LEAK CHECK PASSED.
HAD APU RUNNING, ACM OVERHEAT ILLUMINATED FOR A SECOND AND WENT OUT, AFTER 15 TO 25 SECONDS SMOKE FILLED THE CABIN AND COCKPIT FROM THE OVERHEAD VENTS. FOUND ACM EXHAUST DUCT ASSY MATERIAL COMING APART AND BLOCKING EXHAUST AIR FLOW. R & R EXHAUST DUCT ASSY. OPS CHECKED GOOD IAW MM CH 21-51-00.
DURING A SCHEDULED INSP/ OPS CHECK OF THE ECU, WE FOUND THE ASPIRATOR TUBE ASSY BROKEN AT THE FLAIR NUT FITTING ON THE ECU. A SERVICE CONDITION REPORT HAS ALSO BEEN SUBMITTED TO MFG UNDER SCR 520216.
LT BAGGAGE NOSE DOOR REAR LATCHED POPPED OPEN ON DEPARTURE. THE DOOR WAS NOT DAMAGED AND MX CHECK THE SECURITY OF DOOR. AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED. INSPECTED DOOR LATCHES AT NOSE DOORS- NO DEFECTS NOTED - NO DAMAGE TO DOORS. MX IAW MM 52-40-01.
IN CRUISE NLG GREEN LIGHT ILLUMINATED. MLG RETRACTED, LIGHT EXTINGUISHED. EXTENSION NORMAL, BLEW DOWN TO INSURE DOWNLOCK. JACKED ACFT, RELEASED PRESSURE FROM MLG SYS, RE-SEATED MLG SHUTTLE VALVES, CYCLED MLG. BLED AIR FROM SYS IAW MM 32-01-00. RANG OUT NLG DOWNLOCK SWITCH WITH MLG DOWN- HIGH RESISTING ACCESS PINS A & C - SHOULD BE OPEN, REPEATED & RANG OUT PINS B & C. READS 30 KILOHMS -SHOULD BE OPEN CIRCUIT. NLG DOWNLOCK SWITCH BAD. REMOVED NLG ACT & INSTALLED RENTAL ACTUATOR IAW MM 32-30-03. INSTALLED PANEL. OPS & LEAK CHKS GOOD.
NR 1 RMU SWITCHED ON AND OFF TWICE IN FLIGHT. EACH TIME THIS HAPPENED A STRONG ELECTRICAL ODOR WAS NOTICED. NR 1 COMM CB WAS PULLED. REMOVED RMU AND INSTALLED SERVICEABLE UNIT IAW MM 23-80-01. SYSTEM OPERATIONAL CHECKS GOOD.
WHILE RESETTING HYD CONTROL CIRCUIT BREAKER , L T MAIN GEAR EXTENDED AND GREEN DOWN AND LOCKED LIGHT ILLUMINATED. REMOVED AND REPLACED LT MAIN GEAR ACTUATOR WITH RENTAL UNIT IAW MM 32-30-04. OPS AND LEAK CHECK GOOD. INSTALLED UNIT HAS 2089 CYCLES.
AFTER LIFTOFF CABIN WOULD NOT PRESSURIZE. CABIN WAS CLIMBING AT SAME RATE AS AC. M2B- COMPLIED WITH KOLLSMAN DYNAMIC TEST, TEST FAILED. REMOVED AND REPLACED CONTROLLER IAW MM 21-30-00. OPERATIONAL CHECKS GOOD.
AFTER RELEASING THE PARKING BRAKE TO BEGIN TAXIING, THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO PULL HARD RT. 10-29-07 REMOVED FAULTY BRAKE ASSY. INSTALLED OVERHAULED BRAKE ASSY OF SAME P/N, BLED BRAKES. OPS CHECK GOOD. IAW MM 32-41-02.
DURING CLIMBOUT FROM LUK TO ILG THROUGH 12,000 FT NOTICED STRONG ODOR / BURNING SMELL. SMELL CYCLED ON AND OFF SEVERAL TIMES CLIMBING TO FL 220 AND DESCENDING DOWN TO LANDING. THIS OCCURRED WITH CLIMB POWER AND IDLE WITH APU ISOLATED NO SMOKE OBSERVED. REMOVED CLEANED AND REINSTALLED BOTH OZONE CONVERTERS, CLEANED WATER SEPARATOR T/S APU BLEED AIR VERIFIED BLEED AIR IS CLEAN, RAN ON ENG BLEED AIR CLEAN. ALSO REPLACED ACM, RAN ACM LEAK CK AND OP'S CK GOOD. NO BURNING SMELL OR ODOR NOTICED DURING OPS CHECK AND LEAK CHECK IAW CE560 XL MM 21-23-00.
DURING TAKEOFF FROM LUK TO ILM, STRONG ODOR BURNING SMELL NOTICED, RETURNED TO KLUK, NO SMOKE OBSERVED CREW AND PAX SMELLED IT, VERY STRONG ODOR. REMOVED WATER SEPARATOR, CLEANED CONDENSER SOCK THOROUGHLY. REINSTALLED WATER SEPARATOR IAW CE 560XL MM 12-19-02 AND 21-51-00. RAN AIRCRAFT FOR 20 MINUTES WITH MAX COOL AIR. NO SMELL REMAINS. NO LEAKS NOTED ON WATER SEPARATOR.
DURING INSPECTION FOUND THE LEADING EDGE HEAT SHIELD FLANGE CRACKED ON BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT WINGS. SUBMITTED CESSNS/CITATION SERVICE CONDITION REPORT 181187 WITH PICTURES.
DURING INSPECTION FOUND LOWER HALF OF MAIN ENTRY DOOR STEPS SUPPORT BRACKETS AND A COVER PLATE / WEB ASSEMBLY CRACKED. REPLACED BOTH SUPPORT BRACKETS, PLATE ASSEMBLY AND WEB ASSEMBLY PER CESSNA SERVICE BULLETIN 560XL-52-12.
DURING EN ROUTE TO SMO, THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR INDICATION WOULD NOT SHOW DOWN AND LOCK. PERFORMED MANUAL LANDING GEAR EXTENSION AND DIVERTED TO LAX, AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY. JACKED AIRCRAFT, RESET EMERGENCY GEAR RELEASE HANDLE TO NORMAL, TROUBLESHOT MLG INDICATION SYSTEM AND FOUND LIGHT BULBS BURNED OUT. INSTALLED NEW BULBS 6 EACH, SERVICED BLOW DOWN BOTTLE IAW CESSNA MM CHAPTER 12-13-01. ACCOMPLISHED GEAR SWING, SYSTEM OPS CHECKED GOOD.
