PILOT REPORTED PITOT HEAT INOP. UPON INSPECTION THE PITOT SWITCH & SWITCH CONNECTION WERE FOUND TO BE BURNT. BOTH WERE REPLACED WITH NO ADDITIONAL DEFECTS NOTED.
DURING TROUBLESHOOTING FOR A HIGH OIL CONSUMPTION CONCERN, IT WAS DISCOVERED THE RH ENG #2 CYLINDER BASE NUTS 1/2 IN. #3 AND 3/8 # 2,3,4 BROKEN AND MISSING FROM THROUGH STUDS. THE ENGINE WAS REPLACED WITH NO FURTHER ISSUES NOTED.
PILOT REPORTED A SMELL OF GAS IN THE CABIN DURING FLIGHT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE RIGHT PRIMARY FUEL BOOT PUMP WITH NO ADDITIONAL FAULTS FOUND.
PILOT REPORTED FUEL SMELL DURING FLIGHT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND WHILE TROUBLESHOOTING FOUND RIGHT ENGINE INBOARD FUEL RAIL LEAKING AT WELD IN VICINITY OF #2 CYLINDER INJECTOR AT MALE B NUT. THE FUEL RAIL ASSEMBLY WAS REPLACED WITH NO FURTHER DEFECT NOTED. ENGINE MODEL NUMBER NOT LISTED IN SECTION 3. ENGINE MODEL TEO-540-C1A
THE NLG ATTACH STRUCTURE WAS FOUND TO BE DAMAGED DURING AN INSPECTION INITIATED DUE TO SIMILAR FINDINGS ON OTHER COMPANY AIRCRAFT. THE DAMAGE IS LOCATED AT FWD MOST FUSELAGE BULKHEAD, LWR CENTER SECTION, IN THE AREA CORRESPONDING TO THE NLG MOUNTS. THE STRUCTURE AFT OF NLG BULKHEAD WAS INSPECTED WITH THE FOLLOWING DEFECTS NOTED: 1) THE FWD SECTIONS OF FLOORBOARD SUPPORTS AS THEY ARE RIVETED TO FORWARD-MOST FUSELAGE BULKHEAD ARE CRACKED. TECNAM SB387-CS EDITION 1 REVISION 0 PRESCRIBES REPAIR AND MODIFICATION OF THESE AREAS AND WILL SERVE AS CORRECTIVE ACTION FOR THIS DAMAGE.
WHEN EXTERNAL POWER WAS APPLIED TO AIRCRAFT AN ELECTRICAL SMOKE ODOR WAS DETECTED IN COCKPIT. THE AVIONICS COOLING FAN WAS FOUND TO BE THE CAUSE OF ODOR.
LEFT AFT VERTICAL STAB, AFT DRAG ANGLE IS CRACKED. CUT OUT THE DAMAGE, FABRICATED A REPAIR AND INSTALLED IAW REO 670-55-31-098, REO 670-55-31-018, REV A, AND SRM 51-25-01.
