THE DOOR IS BINDING ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE DOOR FRAME AS YOU ARE CLIMBING THE STEPS TO BOARD THE AIRCRAFT. // SIGN OFF // VERIFIED CREW DISCREPANCY. TROUBLESHOOTING REVEALED THAT THE MAIN ENTRY DOOR FORWARD RUB BLOCK WAS LOOSE CAUSING THE DOOR TO STICK WHEN THE DOOR WAS OPENING OR CLOSING. IN ADDITION, FOUND THAT THE GAS STRUT SLIDING ROD WAS DIRTY WHICH CAUSED THE BINDING SOUND WHEN DOOR WAS IN MOTION. TIGHTENED THE FORWARD DOOR RUB BLOCK. CLEANED THE GAS STRUT SLIDING SURFACES. DISENGAGED THE DOOR LIFT SYSTEM VERIFYING NO FURTHER BINDING WHEN OPENING OR CLOSING THE DOOR. ENGAGED DOOR LIFT SYSTEM THEN ACCOMPLISHED MULTIPLE DOOR OPERATIONAL CHECKS WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED. DOOR OPENS AND CLOSES FREELY. VERIFIED THAT NO CABIN DOOR RELATED CAS MESSAGES WERE POSTED DURING OPERATIONAL CHECKS. ALL OPERATIONS AND INDICATIONS NORMAL AT THIS TIME. ALL WORK ACCOMPLISHED IAW CE-680A AMM 52-10-00.

AFTER LANDING, CREW TESTED TRIM WHEEL AGAIN AND NOTICED IT DOES NOT GO ALL THE WAY TO BOTTOM OF WHITE ARC WHEN TRIMMED IN THE FULL NOSE UP POSITION. INSPECTED ELEVATOR TRIM TAB SYS. FOUND TRIM INDICATION RANGE TOO FAR FOREWARD. POINTED WOUDL MOVE TO THE TOP OF RANGE AND WHEEL COULD BE ROTATED ANOTHER TURN WITHOUT POINTER MOVEMENT. POINTER WOULD STOP +/- 1" BELOW TAKE-OFF MARKER AT FULL NOSE-UP. REMOVED, RE-INDEXED TRIM WHEEL / POINTER AND RE-INSTALLED TRIM WHEEL IAW MM CHAP 27-32-01. C/W ELEVATOR TRIM TRAVEL CHECKS IAW MM CHAP. 27-31-00. TRAVELS AND INDICATOR OPS CHECK GOOD. APPLIED HYD AND PERFORMED "NO TAKEOFF" CHECKS, OPS CHECK GOOD. SERVICED HYD.

R & R PUMP RELAY. OPS CHECKED GOOD. WORK DONE IAW THE MM 32-42-00.

ABOUT 3 MINUTES AFTER DEPARTING AND CLIMBING TO 10,000 FT WE GOT A MASTER WARNING LIGHT AND A R OIL PRESSURE ANNUNCIATOR. ALSO, OBSERVED THAT THE OIL PRESSURE TAPE ON THE RT SIDE WAS AT THE BOTTOM IN THE RED. SECONDS AFTER WE SMELLED SMOKE AND THE PASSENGER YELLED TO US THAT IT WAS "FOGGING UP" IN THE BACK, MANUALLY DROPPED THE PASSENGER MASKS AND AGREED THAT WE SHOULD SHUTDOWN THE RT ENGINE, AND AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED. AFTER SHUTTING THE ENGINE DOWN, THE SMELL AND SMOKE DISSIPATED AND WE WERE VECTORED FOR AN ILS APPROACH BACK TO DEPARTURE. EMERGENCY VEHICLES DIDN'T OBSERVE AND OUTWARD SIGNS OF SMOKE SO WE TAXIED ON THE LT ENGINE BACK TO THE RAMP. THE OIL LEVEL INDICATES FULL AND THERE ARE NO VISIBLE SIGNS OF LEAKING OIL. SUB: REMOVED THE UNSERVICEABLE RT ENGINE, S/N PCEDB0655, AND INSTALLED A SERVICEABLE ENGINE, SN DB0773 IN THE RT POSITION. ALL WORK WAS PERFORMED IAW THE MM CHAP 71-00-03 AND 71-00-04. ALL OPS AND LEAK CHECKS NORMAL.
