MECHANICALLY REMOVED 2 AREAS OF CORROSION FOUND IN ZONE 513 AT WING STATION 97.00 THROUGH 99.00 AND FRAME STATION 335 OF THE LH UPPER WING SKIN, FWD OF SPAR CAP PERFORMED NDT AND REPORTED FOR REPAIR DISPOSITION.
WHILE IN LEVEL CRUISE AT 14,000 FT WITH THE AUTOPILOT ENGAGED & DOING APPROX 300 KN, A LARGE VIBRATION FELT IN FLOORBOARDS & COULD HEAR IT. PERFORMED ENG TREND DOWNLOADS. PERFORMED ENG RUN & NO DEFECTS & VIB LEVELS OF .16 IPS AT HIGHEST. INSPECTED AGB PLUGS, INSPECTED RT ENG FAN BLADES, & ACCESSORIES, GEARBOX MOUNTS, & LINKAGES, NO DEFECTS. PERFORMED POWER RUNS, DURING RUNS, RT ENG VIBE IPS J\1 ND HIGHER THAN .16, & LH AT .17. PERFORMED 2ND ENG TREND DOWNLOAD, MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDS FLY ACFT, NO ISSUE WITH ENGS. SWAPPED LT & RT ENG GENS, GENS OPS CHKD GOOD IAW 24-31-05. PERFORMED FLNAL TO POWER RUN WITH SWAPPED GENS & SAME LEVELS OF VIBES, .17 IPS LT & .18 IPS RT. CHKD GOOD, NO DEFECTS.
EXTERNAL LAVATORY BATTERY DOOR IS BROKEN & LOOSE. FOUR OF THE LATCHES WERE POPPED, DOORS WERE LOCKED. LAVATORY WAS NOT SERVICED DURING LAST STOP. R & R THE DAMAGED LAVATORY BATTERY DOOR & BOTH HINGES WITH NEW. CHECKED GOOD ON THE DOOR LATCHES & LOCKS IAW MM 52-40-00 & DWG 4AS3180550.
FIVE SECONDS AFTER APPLICATION OF TAKEOFF POWER, MULTIPLE LOUD NOISES WITH THE ENTIRE ACFT SHAKING AND VIBRATIONS WHERE FELT.
LEFT LANDING GEAR INDICATOR WOULD NOT INDICATE UP AND LOCKED. EVEN AFTER FOLLOWING PROCEDURES IN QRH. WHEN GEAR SELECTED DOWN THE GEAR INDICATORS WERE DOWN AND LOCKED. INSPECTED THE UPLOCK SWITCHES, NO DEFECTS NOTED. ADJUSTMENT OF SWITCHES ARE GOOD. PERFORMED THE EXTENSION AND RETRACT ON ADJUSTMENT TEST. OPS CHECK GOOD. ADJUSTMENT OF GEAR DOOR CHECKS GOOD. CYCLED THE GEAR TEN TIMES WITH NO DEFECTS. IAW MM 32-30-00, 32-10-00.
ON APPROACH, AROUND 2,000 AGL GEAR SELECTED DOWN. NOSE AND LT EXTENDED AND SHOWED GREEN INDICATIONS NORMALLY. RT MAIN STAYED AMBER FOR ABOUT 10 SECONDS AFTER OTHERS SHOWED GREEN, THEN TURNED RED ON EICAS. NO OTHER MASTER WARNING OR EICAS MESSAGES APPEARED. AFTER ABOUT 20 SECONDS OF RED ON THE RT GEAR, IT TURNED GREEN WITH NO FURTHER ACTION. NORMAL LANDING FOLLOWED. R & R RT MLG ACTUATOR IAW MM 32-10-20. OPS & LEAK CHECKED GOOD.
AFTER TAKEOFF LANDING GEAR WAS RETRACTED, LEFT MAIN GEAR INDICATED AN UNSAFE CONDITION... QRH EG-3 WAS COMPLETED ( GEAR CYCLED) LEFT MAIN GEAR INDICATED AN UNSAFE CONDITION. GEAR HANDLE WAS PLACED DOWN AND INDICATED THREE SAFE GEAR. R & R FWD LT UPLOCK HARNESS PROXIMITY SWITCH ADJUSTED & PERFORMED OPS CHECK WITH NO FAULTS NOTED IAW MM 32-60-00.
LEFT MLG FAILED TO RETRACT. PERFORMED NORMAL GEAR RETRACTION IAW MM 32-30-00. FOUND LT MLG OTBD DOOR STOPS TO BE OUT OF ADJUSTMENT IAW MM 32-10-15 AND FOUND FORWARD UPLOCK TO HAVE HIGH UPLOCKING PRESSURE. ADJUSTED LT MLG OTBD DOOR AS REQUIRED IAW MM 32-10-15. MLG EXTENSION AND RETRACTION, OPS CHECK GOOD AT THIS TIME.
RIGHT HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FAILED IN FLIGHT. PRESSURE INDICATED 0 AS QUANTITY INDICATED 24%. FOUND RT ENG HYD PUMP PRESSURE LINE CRACKED AT PRESSURE FILTER. LINE REPAIRED IAW MM 20-10-13 W/ PERMASWAGE BY MFG. RT EDP REPLACED, AUX PUMP REPLACED, RT PRESSURE FILTERS AND RETURN FILTER REPLACED, ACCOMPLISHED GEAR SWINGS,BRAKE BLEEDS,T/R BLEEDS, CYCLED ALL FLIGHT CONTROLS. RAN ENGINE OPS CHECKS OF EDP AND EMP NORMAL NO LEAKS NOTED.
ON DEPARTURE FROM SBA, "KRUEGER FAIL" EICAS MESSAGE CAME ON & KRUEGER & SLATS WOULD NOT RETRACT. ON THE GROUND FLAPS & SLATS OPS NORMAL. PER CUSTOMER REQUEST PERFORMED CMP 275101 FLAP/SLAT CONTROL AND DRIVE SYSTEM- FUNCTIONAL TEST. NO DEFECTS NOTED. PERFORMED ENGINE RUNS TO CHECK OUTPUT OF ENGINE DRIVEN HYD PUMP DURING KRUGER OPERATION WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED.
ON DEPARTURE FROM SBA, ALL 3 MLG`S WOULD NOT RETRACT. INSPECTED MLG, MLG SELECTOR VALVE & CABLE, GEAR CONTROL LINKAGE, LATCHES, CONTROL LEVER, WOW SWITCHES, WIRING HARNESS, UPLOCKS & SURROUNDING AREAS. CHECKED FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT OF GEAR SELECTOR HANDLE. APPLIED HYD PRESSURE CYCLED GEAR 25 TIMES- NO DEFECTS NOTED. ALL INDICATIONS NORMAL. WORK PERFORMED PER CMP'S 322017 321023 321024 AND MM 32-30-00 PER REQUEST PERFORMED CMP 275101- FLAP/SLAT CONTROL AND DRIVE SYSTEM- FUNCTIONAL TEST. NO DEFECTS NOTED. PERFORMED ENGINE RUNS TO CHECK OUTPUT OF ENGINE DRIVEN HYD PUMPS. ALL SYSTEMS OPERATING NORMALLY.
BRAKES ARE VERY SOFT AND WONT GRAB ON LANDING ROLLOUT UNTIL ABOUT 30 KNOTS (BOTH CAPTAIN AND PILOT SIDES). BLED BRAKES AFTER INSPECTION FOUND BRAKES WERE WITHIN TOLERANCE. NO AIR NOTED AT THIS TIME. WORK DONE IAW MM 32-40-20.
NORMAL BRAKES INEFFECTIVE ON LANDING ROLLOUT. FOUND NR 1 BRAKE ASSY WORN. REMOVED AND REPLACED NR 1 BRAKE ASSY WITH REPAIRED UNIT IAW G-200 CMP CARD NR: 324301. PERFORMED NORMAL BRAKE SYSTEM BLEEDING IAW G-200 MM CHAPTER 32-40-20. OPS CHECK AND LEAK CHECK SATISFACTORY.
AT FL410, CREW DETECTED A STRONG ODOR OF ELECTRICAL BURNING. CABIN MASTER ISOLATED IT AND ODOR WENT AWAY. FOUND AIRSHOW BOX (BLUE) BEHIND DRAWER WITH PLATES WAS VERY HOT.
RT MAIN GEAR WILL NOT LOCK UP. WHILE ACCOMPLISHING INCOMING INSP TO ACFT FOUND ICE TO BE FORMED ON I/B GEAR DOOR OF RT MLG. SUSPECT ICE BUILT UP TO CAUSE DOOR INTERFERANCE TO STRUCTURE AND NOT ALLOW DOOR TO FULLY UP AND LOCK. VERIFIED INTEGRITY OF SWITCHES. NO DEFECTS NOTED IAW G200 M/M 32-30-00.
RIGHT ENGINE FAILED ON CLIMBOUT ABOUT 3 MINS AFTER TAKEOFF. FOUND ENGINE HAD INTERNAL FAILURE. REMOVED AND REPLACED RT ENGINE, LEAK CHECKED AND OPS CHECKED GOOD PER G200 MM 71-00-00.
LEFT MAIN GEAR WOULD NOT INDICATE UP, UPON GEAR RETRACTION (RED, UNKNOWN WAS SHOWING). JACKED AIRCRAFT AND ACCOMPLISHED RIGGING CHECK FOUND LT MLG I/B DOOR TO BE BENT. REMOVED AND REPLACED DOOR & RIGGED IAW G-200 MM 32-10-10.
