AIR TURN BACK FLIGHT 8801. JUST AFTER TAKEOFF, THE OIL PRESSURE INCREASED TO THE RED LINE ON THE INDICATOR. DECIDED TO RETURN TO THE RAMP & DID AN AIR TURN BACK. NO EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED. TROUBLE SHOT & REPLACED THE OIL PRESSURE & TEMPERATURE INDICATOR. OPERATIONS CHECKED & ENGINE RUNS GOOD. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
AIR TURNBACK FLT 100 FORM PDX: ENGINE FIRE DETECTION SYSTEM SOUNDED THROUGH HEADSET AND SPEAKER, BUT NOT ON ANNUNCIATOR PANEL. PILOT ELECTED TO RETURN TO PDX AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED FIRE LOOP AND DETECTION SYSTEM. REMOVED AND REPLACED FIRE DETECTION CONTROL BOX.
DURING PREFLIGHT; FLIGHT 7678 AT PDX PILOT NOTICED CRACK IN RIGHT HORIZONTAL STABILIZER AFT SPAR STA 55.00. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED RT ELEVATOR. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
MX NOTED PLAY BETWEEN THE LT AND RT ELEVATORS. FOUND LT ELEVATOR TORQUE TUBE RIVETS LOOSE. RIVETS REMOVED AND FLANGE AND TORQUE TUBE HOLES FOUND ELONGATED. TORQUE TUBE ASSY REPLACED WITH NEW UNIT.
PILOT REPORTS AS HE WAS CLIMBING THROUGH 7,000 FEET, 10 MILES NORTH OF THE MFR AIRPORT, HE NOTICED 200 POUND DROP IN TORQUE AND 40 DEGREE RISE IN ITT. AT THIS TIME, PILOT ELECTED TO RETURN TO MFR. NO EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED. MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOT THE SYSTEM AND FOUND A FAILED BLEED VALVE. PART WAS REPLACED. GROUND RUN CHECKED GOOD. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE. (X)
