Maintenance disclosures
AFTER SHUTDOWN THE MAIN ENTRY DOOR UPPER CLAMSHELL WAS DIFFICULT TO OPEN FROM INSIDE. THE MED HANDLE WAS DIFFICULT TO ROTATE FROM THE INSIDE OF AIRCRAFT. LINE SERVICE WAS ABLE TO ROTATE THE DOOR HANDLE FROM OUTSIDE AND OPEN THE MED. MAINTENANCE FOUND THE OUTER DOOR HANDLE CAM ROLLER BROKEN CAUSING THE DOOR NOT TO OPEN FROM THE INSIDE. REPLACED SAME. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
ON FINAL APPROACH WITH GEAR SELECTED DOWN THE NOSE GEAR DID NOT SHOW A DOWN INDICATION. EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED AND GEAR MANUAL EXTENSION PERFORMED. LANDING WAS UNEVENTFUL. MAINTENANCE REMOVED THE NOSE LANDING GEAR ACTUATOR AND SENT OUT FOR SERVICE. THE ACTUATOR WAS REINSTALLED. GEAR SWINGS PERFORMED. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
DURING SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE OXYGEN BOTTLE FAILED THE 600 HOUR SYSTEM FUNCTIONAL TEST. OXYGEN BOTTLE WAS REMOVED AND SENT OUT FOR SERVICE. OVERHAUL FACILITY INSPECTED THE BOTTLE AND IDENTIFIED THE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY TO BE ASSEMBLED INCORRECTLY. THE OXYGEN BOTTLE AND REGULATOR ASSEMBLY WAS OVERHAULED AND REINSTALLED ON THE AIRCRAFT. A SUCCESSFUL SYSTEM TEST AND LEAK CHECKED WAS PERFORMED. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
LEFT AND RIGHT THRUST REVERSER AUTO STOWED ON LANDING. MAINTENANCE REPLACED LEFT MAIN GEAR SQUAT SWITCH AND HARNESS ENVIRONMENTAL RUBBER GROMMET. A SUCCESSFUL SYSTEM OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS PERFORMED. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
UNCOMMANDED RIGHT ENGINE SHUTDOWN DURING MAINTENANCE PREFLIGHT CHECK. MAINTENANCE REMOVED, CLEANED, INSPECTED AND REINSTALLED THE RIGHT ENGINE EEC CONNECTORS. PERFORMED SEVERAL GROUND RUNS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
