SLAT FLAP MX, WHITE EICAS MESSAGE ILLUMINATED WHEN FLAP HANDLE MOVED. SLAT JAMBED BITE LIGHT MESSAGE ON LAV PANEL. TROUBLESHOT SLAT SYS & FOUND LT TORQUE LIMITER BRAKE FAILED. REPLACED TORQUE LIMITER PN 1258AOOOO-02 SN 0056, WITH REPAIRED TORQUE LIMITER PN 1258AOOOO-02 SN 00415. CHECKED & VERIFIED RIGGING & OPERATION OF THE SLAT SYS LAW MM CHAPTERS 27-80-00 & 27-80-05. SYS FUNCTIONED NORMAL, NO DEFECTS NOTED.
APU FIRE MESSAGE AND BELL CAME ON AFTER STARTING NR 2 ENGINE. NO FIRE OR ABNORMAL TEMPERATURE. TRIED POWERING DOWN EVERYTHING AND RESET BUT FIRE MESSAGE AND BELL STILL ON WHEN POWER WAS ON. POWERED ACFT AND CHECKED EICAS. NO MESSAGE. CHECKED APU SENSING ELEMENTS AND FOUND A PORTION OF THE SENSING ELEMENT SLIGHTLY TOUCHING THE AIRFRAME. REPOSITIONED SENSING ELEMENT AND PERFORMED APU FIRE DETECT OPS TEST. OPS CHECKED GOOD IAW MM 26-10-25. PERFORMED 2 ENGINE STARTS WITH APU POWER. NO CAS MESSAGES. OPS CHECKED GOOD.
AFTER DEPARTING, CYCLED LANDING GEAR UP AND THE NOSE GEAR SHOWED STUCK IN TRANSIT. FOLLOWED THE CHECKLIST AND CYCLED GEAR DOWN AGAIN AND BACK UP BUT NOSE GEAR STUCK INTRANSIT CAME BACK ON AGAIN. CONTINUED CHECKLIST AND PUT GEAR HANDLE BACK DOWN RECEIVED THREE GREEN GEAR INDICATIONS AND LANDED. JACKED ACFT AND ACCOMPLISHED EXTENSION AND RETRACTION CYCLES IAW MM 32-30-00. NO DEFECTS NOTED WITH EITHER INDICATION OR OPERATION. INSPECTED THE GEAR FOR LEAKS OR DAMAGED WIRE HARNESSES. NO DEFECTS NOTED. CLEANED NLG ACTUATOR CONNECTOR 6G. DISCONNECTED AND INSPECTED UPLOCK HARNESS GROUND TERMINALS 515 AND 517 AND NOTED THE TERMINALS AND GROUND POINTS TO BE DIRTY. CLEANED THE TERMINALS AND STRUCTURE BOND POINTS AND RECONNECTED TERMINALS 515 AND 517. ACCOMPLISHED 10 ADDITIONAL GEAR EXTENSION AND RETRACTION CYCLES. NO DEFECTS NOTED. WORK ACCOMPLISHED IAW MM 32-30-00. DOWN JACKED THE ACFT AND RECONFIGURED FOR FLIGHT.
AFTER TAKEOFF, SMOKE APPEARED IN THE CABIN. RETURNED AND LANDED SAFELY. ENGINE REMOVED AND INSTALLED IAW CMP 710002. ACCOMPLISHED ASSOCIATED OPS AND LEAK CHECKS WITH NO MORE DEFECTS NOTED.
NOSE WHEEL INDICATOR DID NOT SHOW GEAR UP AND LOCKED. RECYCLED THE GEAR ACCORDING TO QRH G-200 PROCEDURE. NOSE WHEEL INDICATOR SHOWED "UP" INDICATION. JACKED ACFT AND PERFORMED NUMEROUS GEAR SWINGS, UNABLE TO DUPLICATE. DISCONNECTED CONNECTOR PLUG 854YP AND RANG OUT UPLOCK SWITCH, NO FAULTS FOUND. OPEN NLG DOOR AND OBSERVED OPERATION OF NLG UPLOCK SWITCH DURING GEAR SWINGS; ALL OPERATING AND COCKPIT INDICATION WERE NORMAL. RECONNECTED NLG GEAR DOOR AND PERFOMRED NUMBEROUS GEAR SWINGS. GEAR OPEATION AND INDICATION WERE NORMAL ALL MX PERFOMRED REF MM 32-30-00 AND WDM 32-00-00.
AT FL 400, RED "GEAR NOT DOWN" CAS MESSAGE AND TONE ACTIVATED THEN EXTINGUISHED. REMOVED AND REPLACED RAD ALT TRANSCEIVER IAW CMP 344402, OP CHECKS GOOD IAW CMP 344410 AND AMM 32-60-00.
NOSEWHEEL UNSAFE INDICATED AFTER RETRACTION (RED CROSSHATCH) FOLLOWED QRH, CYCLED GEAR GOOD DOWN CHECK SAME NOSEWHEEL UNSAFE ON RETRACTION. EXTENDED GEAR , 3 GREEN LANDED NORMAL HYD PRESSURE. REMOVED NOSE GEAR UPLOCK ASSY PN 23400-000-00 SN IL-149 AND INSTALLED REPAIRED NOSE GEAR UPLOCK ASSY SAME PN SN IL-037. OPS CK GOOD. INDICATION NORMAL. WORK DONE IAW MM 32-20-31.
NOSEWHEEL UNSAFE INDICATED AFTER RETRACTION.
ON APPROACH, FLAP WOULD NOT MOVE, CHECKED CODE. FLAP JAM CODE WAS INDICATING. TROUBLESHOT FLAP SYS IAW MM 27-00-00, NO FAULTS FOUND. CONTINUED TO TROUBLESHOOT, FOUND LT FLAPS OUT OF RIGG AND WRONG SIZE ADLE CLAMPS ON LT AND RT NR2 AND 3 FLEXSHAFTS AND RERIGGED FLAP SYS IAW MM 27-51-00. PERFORMED FUNCTIONAL TEST IAW MM 27-51-45 INSTALLED PN M21919WDG10, 6 EACH.
AC PULLS RT WITH NEUTRAL TILLER POSITION. NWS DISENGAGES WHEN ATTEMPTING FULL RT TURN. REMOVED AND REPLACED NOSEWHEEL STEERING CONTROL VALVE. AND ADJUSTED FEEDBACK MANIFOLD POTENTIOMETERS 1 AND 2 IAW GAC G200 AMM 32-50-00 AND 32-50-15.
RT GENERATOR FAILED AFTER TAKEOFF POWER , R/T GEN WOULD NOT STAY RESET NOR HOLD AMP LOAD NOR VOLTS, TO ABORTED. REMOVED AND REPLACED RH STARTER GEN PER G200 MM 24-30-06. OPS CHECK GOOD PER G200 MM 24-30-00
RT MLG RED INDICATION IN FLIGHT W/GEAR NOT SELECTED DOWN. IT OCCURRED DESCENDING THROUGH 9000 FT. AT 250 KIAS. ACCOMPANIED BY RED GEAR SPEED LIMIT INDICATIONS. M2B- FOUND A BROKEN WIRE AND WATER IN THE BACKSHELL OF WHEEL WELL DISCONNECT 44GJ1. RE-PINNED CONNECTOR AND REPLACED THE BACKSHELL AND PROTECTIVE BOOT IAW STANDARD WIRING PRACTICES AND G200 WDM 32-00-00. PERFORMED A COMPLETE SYS FUNCTIONAL TEST IAW G200 MM 32-10-11 AND CMP 326001, NO FAULTS FOUND AT THIS TIME.
RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR RED INDICATION IN FLIGHT WITH GEAR NOT SELECTED DOWN. INDICATION APPEARED SLOWING BELOW 300 KTS. T/S PROBLEM NOTED RIGHT GEAR DOOR BOX SWITCH TO BE OUT OF RIG. ADJUSTED DOOR PROX SWITCH & PERFORMED OPS CHECK, WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED.
