Maintenance disclosures
THE LANDING GEAR DID NOT EXTEND NORMALLY WHEN SELECTED FOR LANDING BY THE FLIGHT CREW. THE LANDING GEAR WAS MANUALLY EXTENDED AND THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY. MAINTENANCE FOUND THE LANDING GEAR CONTROL RELAY WAS STUCK AND WAS ABLE TO RESET THE RELAY. MULTIPLE RETRACTION AND EXTENSION CHECKS WERE PERFORMED ON AIRCRAFT JACKS, AND THE DISCREPANCY WAS NOT DUPLICATED. THE AIRCRAFT HAS BEEN RELEASED BACK TO SERVICE, AND NO FURTHER REPORTS OF LANDING GEAR FAILURE HAS BEEN REPORTED.
THE FLIGHT CREW PERFORMED AN EMERGENCY LANDING GEAR EXTENSION. WHEN ATTEMPTING TO EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR THE LANDING GEAR HANDLE WAS UN-RESPONSIVE. MAINTENANCE FOUND AND REPAIRED A BROKEN WIRE TO THE LANDING GEAR HYDRAULIC POWER PACK PRESSURE SWITCH AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS ON JACKS WERE SUCCESSFUL. THE AIRCRAFT HAS BEEN RETURNED TO SERVICE.
PILOT REPORTED THAT UPON APPROACH TO KRDM THE RT ENGINE OIL PRESSURE ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED. PILOT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOT SYSTEM TO A LEAK COMING FROM RH ENGINE OIL SCAVENGE PUMP. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE RH ENGINE OIL SCAVENGE PUMP SEAL PN 3022375. ALL ENGINE OPERATIONS AND LEAK CHECKS WERE GOOD..
WHILE IN FLIGHT, THE FLIGHT CREW NOTED A BURNING SMELL. THE VENT WAS SHUT OFF AND THE SMELL DISSIPATED. BFI MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND FOUND THAT VENT BLOWER WAS DEFECTIVE. DEFERRED, VENT BLOWER ON ORDER.
RIGHT LANDING GEAR DID NOT ILLUMINATE IN FLIGHT. MAINTENANCE FOUND UPON INSPECTION THE RIGHT MLG INDICATION BULB TO BE INOP. REMOVED AND REPLACED BULB.
WHILE IN ROUTE TO KPDX, THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED LEFT ENGINE TORQUE AND N1 INDICATIONS DROPPED. CHECKLIST ITEMS WERE FOLLOWED AND THE LEFT ENGINE WAS SHUT DOWN. THE CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND THE AIRCRAFT DIVERTED TO KDLS AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. PDX MAINTENANCE TRAVELED TO KDLS. REMOVED AND REPLACED LT ENGINE FCU WITH SERVICEABLE UNIT, PER P&W PT6A-65 EMM 73-20-00 PARA 5A&B. OPERATIONAL AND LEAK CHECK NORMAL.
FLT NR 4356 - ALB-BOS - AFTER TAKEOFF, FUMES AND SMOKE APPEARED IN THE CABIN AND COCKPIT. CREW DECLEARED AN EMERGENCY, DEPLOYED THE OXYGEN MASKS AND RETUREND TO ALB LANDING WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND FOUND THE YAW DAMP CIRCUIT BREAKERS HAD POPPED. INVESTIGATION FOUND THE YAW DAMP COMPUTER HAD SHORTED INTERNALLY. THE YAW DAMP SYSTEM WAS DEFERRED AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE. (M)
