MAIN DOOR: MAIN CABIN DOOR IS BROKE AND WILL NOT CLOSE. IN ITS CURRENT OPEN STATE IT IS HITTING THE AIRCRAFT BELOW THE DOOR OPENING. ACCESSED AIRCRAFT TO VERIFY FAULT. FOUND DOOR OPEN AND HITTING THE AIRCRAFT BELOW. PERFORMED GVI OF MEDDOOR. FOUND THE HANDLE OUTSIDE WAS DOWN AND LOCKED, NOT UP AND UNLOCKED. UNLOCKED OUTSIDE HANDLE OF DOOR. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL TEST OF OPENING AND CLOSING OF DOOR SEVERAL TIMES. OPS CHECK GOOD. ALL WORK ACCOMPLISHED IAW CL350 AMM 51-11-00. NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
UP TO ABOUT 15,000 FEET THE MAIN CABIN DOOR HAS A LOUD SQUEAL. REMOVED FAILED CABIN DOOR SEAL P/N: 1005332313-003 S/N: NSN AND NSTALLED CUSTOMER SUPPLIED NEW CABIN DOOR SEAL P/N: 1005332313-003 S/N: NSN. PERFORMED OPS/LEAK, OPS/LEAK CHECKS GOOD WORK DONE REF. CL-350 AMM 52-11-09
IN ROTATION ON TAKE OFF, HEARD A LOUD THUMP WHICH SOUNDED LIKE IT CAME FROM RT OF AIRCRAFT. LEFT THE MLG DOWN, BELIEVED A MLG TIRE BLOWN. DID A LOW APPROACH BACK AT AIRPORT & TOWER SAID MLG & TIRES APPEAR NORMAL. RETURNED & MADE A NORMAL LANDING. EVERYTHING APPEARED NORMAL BACK AT RAMP. WAS A GREATER THAN NORMAL NLG WHEEL VIBRATION DURING TAKEOFF. PERFORMED GVI OF ACFT & MLG. CHECKED NLG TORQUE LINKS, & TIRES FOR OUT OF ROUND. NO DEFECTS NOTED, FOUND EXCESSIVE NOSE WHEEL SPIN. PERFORMED NOSE WHEEL RETORQUE IAW AMM 32-42-01. COMPLIED WITH BORESCOPE INSPECTION OF RT ENG IAW WO FS73817 / 34997. ENG FAILED INSP & REQUIRES REPLACEMENT. ENG REPLACED IAW WO FS73817 /34997, ALL ENG RUNS LEAK & OPS CHECKS GOOD.
COCKPIT/CABIN NOISE: AT CRUISE ALTITUDE, WE RECEIVED A LOUD HISSING AND ALARM LIKE NOISE COMING FROM THE MAIN CABIN DOOR AREA, FOLLOWED BY LOSS OF PRESSURE. NOTE THERE WERE NO FAULT MESSAGES AFTER SHUTDOWN. PRESSURIZATION TEST SHOWED PAX DOOR TOP AFT CORNER STEP MEASUREMENT OUT OF LIMITS. PAX DOOR BOTH TWO STOPS ADJUSTED TO BRING STEP WITH FUSELAGE SKIN WITHIN TOLERANCE IAW 52-11-00. A/C PRESSURIZED IAW AMM 21-31-00. INSPECTION ON PAX DOOR STEP MEASUREMENTS C/O, AND WITHIN LIMITS IAW 52-11-00. A/C PRESSURIZED IAW AMM 21-31-00. PAX DOOR TOP STOPS FINAL INSTALLATION IAW AMM 52-11-00. RII INSPECTION IAW AMM 52-11-00. SERVICEABLE. OPS TEST OF PAX DOOR IAW AMM 52-11-00,
APU SMOKE: WE STARTED AN APU ON 5MILE FINAL. UPON LANDING AND TURNING OF THE RUNWAY THE COCKPIT AND THE CABIN FILLED WITH WHITE OILY SMOKE FROM AIR VENTS. . WE SHUT THE APU AND IT APEARS FOR THE SMOKE TO STOP INCREASING. WE QUICKLY TAXIED TO THE FBO AND DEPLANED PAX WITH NO OTHER ANOMALITIES. REMOVED AND REPLACE FAILED AIR CYCLE MACHINE. PERFORMED OPS CHECKS AND LEAK CHECKS NO ISSUES NOTED. ALL WORK DONE IAW CL350 MM REF. 21-52-13.
ON TAXI BRAKES WHERE STIFF WITH REDUCED EFFECTIVENESS. RT SIDE PEDALS SEEMED BETTER THAN PILOTS SIDE. PERFORMED THE NORMAL BRAKE FUNCTIONAL TEST IAW MM 32-40-00, TEST PASSED. BLED BRAKES & VERIFIED HYD FLUID LEVEL GOOD. WORK PERFORMED IAW MM 32-40-20, TAXI CHECKS PASSED.
AFT CARGO AREA HAS EXTREMELY STRONG FUEL ODOR INSIDE. THERE IS NO VISIBLE FUEL LEAKING EXTERNALLY. INSPECTED CARGO BAY FOR ANY ODORS OR VISIBLE FUEL LEAKS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. FUELED AIRCRAFT TO 9300 LBS OF FUEL AND LEFT OVERNIGHT. REINSPECTED AND FOUND A FUEL SEEP AT LEFT WING SPAR BETWEEN RIB 7 AND 6. THIS IS CLASSIFED AS A FUEL SEEP AND TO BE WITHIN LIMITS PER G200 MM 28-10-00, NO FURTHER ACTION TAKEN.
ON TAKEOFF WITH T/O POWER SET, AT APPROX 400 FEET, WE HAD A CABIN DUCT OVERHEAT MESSAGE FOLLOWED BY COCKPIT DUCT OVERHEAT MESSAGE. IT WAS ASSOCIATED WITH EXTREMELY HOT TEMPS AND SMELL OF BURNING RUBBER. ELECTED TO RETURN TO FIELD. AFTER EXITING THE RUNWAY AND STOPPING ACFT THE MESSAGES EXTINGUISHED AND THE ODOR BEGAN TO SLOWLY DISSIPATE. FOUND EMERGENCY PRESSURIZATION VALVE FAILED OPEN. CHECKED ELECTRICAL INPUTS, FOUND GOOD. R & R VALVE WITH AN OVERHAULED UNIT IAW MM 21-14-01. OPS & LEAK CHECKED GOOD. RAN ENGINES TO T/O POWER, NO LONGER HAVE A BURNING ODOR IN CABIN.
WHEN NLG RETRACTED, HEARD A LOUD THUMP. SOUNDED ALMOST LIKE A BASEBALL BAT HITTING A BASEBALL. AT THIS TIME RECEIVED BOTH RT AND LT PITOT HEAT AND TAT PROBE HEAT AMBER MESSAGES. MESSAGES WENT OUT WHEN PROBE HEAT SWITCH IS TO OVERIDE, BUT MESSAGES ILLUMINATE WHEN SWITCHED BACK TO AUTO. CLOCK NEVER STARTED WORKING UNTIL LOWERED GEAR. WHEN LANDING, WHEN NOSE GEAR CONTACTED RUNWAY HIT SOUNDED LIKE THERE WAS NO GIVE IN THE STRUT WITH A THUNKING NOISE. IT WAS ROUGH TAXIING IN AS WELL. REPACKED NLG SHOCK ABSORBER AND REINSTALLED SHOCK ABSORBER IAW MM 32-20-10. OPS AND LEAK CHECKED GOOD. PERFORMED PROBE HEATING TEST IAW MM 30-30-00. OPS CHECKED GOOD.
AFTER TAKEOFF, RETRACTING LANDING GEAR, RECEIVED AN UNUSUALLY LONG NOSE GEAR IN TRANSIT FOLLOWED BY A RED GEAR STUCK INTRANSIT FOR APPROX 15 SECONDS. THE GEAR RETRACTED FULLY AND RECEIVED LT & RT PITOT AND TAT HEAT FAIL, TCAS FAIL MESSAGES AND THE FLIGHT CLOCKS WERE INOPERATIVE. NOTED STRUT EXTENDED SLOWLY, PERFORMED A NOSE STRUT INFLATION CHECK AND SERVICED TO PROPER FLUID LEVEL AND PRESSURE IAW MM 12-25-00. AFTER SERVICE INSPECTED NLG STRUT, WIRING HARNESS AND WOW SWITCH, NO FAULTS. APPLIED POWER AND HYDRAULICS AND PERFORMED SEVERAL MLG SWINGS, NO FAULTS.
GAINED ACCESS TO AND INSPECTED ALL WIRING AND CONNECTORS IN COCKPIT AREA. INSPECTED AVIONICS BAY IN NOSE. INSPECTED STARTER GENERATORS AND VERIFIED TORQUES ON TERMINAL BAGS OPERATED ENGINES AND ALL SYS WITH NO DEFECTS. INSPECTED OIL PROBES, OPERATED ALL COCKPIT LIGHTING AND BACKLIGHTING, UNABLE TO DUPLICATE SITUATION. AT NO TIME WAS ABNORMAL ODOR PRESENT, ALL INSP FOUND NO DEFECTS.
DURING THE AFTERSTART CHECKLIST A STRONG ELECTRICAL ODOR WAS NOTED IN THE COCKPIT AFTER THE GENERATORS WERE PUT ON. NO ODOR IN CABIN. NO OTHER INDICATIONS NOTED. GAINED ACCESS TO AND INSPECTED ALL WIRING AND CONNECTORS IN COCKPIT AREA. INSPECTED AVIONICS BAY IN NOSE. INSPECTED STARTER GENERATORS AND VERIFIED TORQUES ON TERMINAL BAGS. OPERATED ENG AND ALL SYS WITH NO DEFECTS. INSPECTED OIL PROBES, OPERATED ALL COCKPIT LIGHTING AND BACKLIGHTING, UNABLE TO DUPLICATE SITUATION, AT NO TIME WAS ABNORMAL ODOR PRESENT. ALL INSP, FOUND NO DEFECTS. COCKPIT SYS ALL OPERATED WITH NO DEFECTS.
RIGHT AFTER TAKEOFF AND AFTER RAISING THE GEAR HANDLE, THE LT AND NOSE LANDING GEAR INDICATED UP (GREEN) BUT THE RT MLG INDICATED UNSAFE (RED).
REMOVED AND REPLACED RT MLG ACTUATOR IAW MM 32-10-20. OPS AND LEAK CHECK GOOD.
APU FIRE CAS MESSAGE ILLUMINATED ALONG WITH FIRE BELL ENROUTE AT FL380. RT FIRE BOTTLE WAS DISCHARGED INTO APU. FIRE INDICATION REMAINED ON, DIVERTED. AFTER SHUTTING DOWN AND EXITING AC, NO SMOKE, FLAMES OR SOOT WERE VISIBLE IN THE AREA OF THE APU BUT THE APU FIRE CAS MESSAGE PERSISTED. REPLACED FUSE P/N 312-062 IN APU FIRE WARNING SYS. CONDUCTED FIRE WARNING TEST. OPERATIONAL CHECKS GOOD. IAW MM CH 26-10-25. REPLACED FIRE EXTINGUISHER WITH A NEW UNIT. INSTALLED 3 NEW SQUIBS. OPS TEST GOOD. MX IAW MM 26-20-05, 26-20-10, 26-10-25.
AT FL-380 APU FIRE WARNING ILLUMINATED, RAN QRH CHECKLIST FIRED APU FIRE BOTTLE INDICATION DID NOT GO OUT. LANDED AT NEAREST AIRPORT. REPLACED APU FIRE DETECTOR P/N 3001-148-450-9, S/N 86516 WITH INSPECTED DETECTOR P/N 3001-148; S/N 87592 IAW G200 AMM SECTION 26-10-15. REMOVED RH FIRE BOTTLE P/N 473779-3; S/N 02738C AND INSTALLED ENW BOTTLE P/N 473779-3; S/N 0377BC WITH NEW SQUIBS P/NS 446582-1; S/N 060600213; 446582-2; S/N 050600304; 446582-3, S/N 070600323 AND 2 FUSES P/N 27F650 IAW G200 AMM SECTIONS 26-10-15 AND 26-20-10, 26-20-05. OPS CHECK OK
DURING TAKEOFF ROLL EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT MASTER CAUTION CAME ON AND STAYED ON RESULTING IN ABORTED TAKEOFF. PERFORMED EMERGENCY EXIT DOOR OPERATIONAL TEST. OPS CHECKED GOOD. ALL WORK DONE IAW G200 MM CHAPTER 52-20-00.
