PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ON ROTATION A LOUD BANGING SOUNDS FROM THE #1 ENGINE, ERRATIC ENGINE INDICATION ON N1, TOWER REPORTED FLAMES OUT OF EXHAUST. CORRECTIVE ACTION & OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION: AFTER VSB AND VBV RIGGING AND ADJUSTMENTS AND TWO ENGINE TESTS IN THE TEST CELL, THE COMPRESS STALL REMAINED. THE REPAIR STATION REACHED OUT TO CFM AND IAW THEIR RECOMMENDATION WILL BE PERFORMING RESTORATION ON THE HPC MODULES. THE ENGINES IS CURRENTLY IN WORK NOW TO PERFORM THE RECOMMENDED PERFORMANCE RESTORATIONâS.

PERFORMED FURTHER TROUBLE SHOOTING UNDER RO 730-0626 AND KM34 NR N730CK0520. R & R MEC, IAW B737 AMM 73-21-01 AND PERFORMED DYNAMIC RIGGING, IAW GECFM 56-3 ESM 72-00 TEST 008.

DURING TERMINATION OF SERVICE CHECK, FOUND THE R1 DOOR EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT INOPERATIVE. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE R1 DOOR EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT BATTERY, OPS CHECKED GOOD IAW AMM 33-51-51.
