PILOT REPORTED YAW DAMPER UPPER A FAIL CYAN EICAS MESSAGE IMMEDIATELY AFTER TAKEOFF. THE PILOT ALSO REPORTED AN OVERSPEED MESSAGE WHICH WAS DETERMINED TO BE CAUSED BY THE CREW EXCEEDING 250 KNOTS BELOW 10,000 FEET. (PILOT ERROR)
DURING CLIMB EICAS AMBER CAS MESSAGE "CABIN ALTITUDE" ILLUMINATED. THE PRESSURIZATION SYSTEM WAS PLACED ON MEL AND FLOWN TO MAINTENANCE IN KOAK. ONCE IN MAINTENANCE THE PRESSURIZATION WAS TESTED AND THE DEFECT COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. ALL COMPONENTS OF THE SYSTEM WERE FOUND TO BE OPERATING AS NORMAL. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
FOLLOW UP FROM SDR DATED 27-FEB-24: CREW REPORTED #1, 2 & 3 DISPLAY SCREENS WENT BLANK IN FLIGHT, FGC A FAIL WITH SMOKE IN THE CABIN. THE FOLLOWING CB'S POPPED DURING THE EVENT, GPWS, FADEC 1 & 2 A CHANNELS & FLAP CONTROL. REPLACED NO. 1 GENERATOR CONTROL UNIT (GCU) P/N 9914752-7EX S/N 256M WITH OVERHAULED UNIT P/N 9914752-6 (92746-3) S/N 311-M. PERFORMED SATISFACTORY MAINTENANCE CHECK FLIGHT.

CREW REPORTS WITH FLAP FAIL MESSAGE POSTED ENROUTE: FLAPS BEGAN TO INDICATE THEY WERE MOVING TO THE 5 POSITION WITHOUT PILOT INPUT, POSTED AIRSPEED INDICATORS TURNING RED WITH NO OVERSPEED, AOA WAS ERRONEOUS AND BOUNCING UP AND DOWN. CLEARED BITE CODES AND PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECKS WITH NO FAULTS REMAINING AND FLAPS OPERATIONAL CHECKS GOOD.
CREW REPORTS FLAP AMBER CAS MESSAGE DURING CRUISE AND DECENT, AIRCRAFT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND DIVERTED TO KJFK. REMOVED LH FLAP RESOLVER P/N 9914510-5 S/N UNKNOWN AND INSTALLED NEW UNIT P/N 9914510-5 S/N B5077, OPERATIONAL CHECKS GOOD.
