AIRCRAFT FAILED THE INSPECTION CRITERIA OUTLINED IN TEXTRON SERVICE LETTER SEL-53-04, DATED JANUARY 14, 2026. BOTH UPPER STRINGERS IN THE TAILCONE ASSEMBLY (P/N'S 0512001-9 AND 0512001-10) HAVE BENDS IN EXCESS OF THE 0.040" LIMIT DESCRIBED IN THE SERVICE LETTER.
Part: SUPPORT BRACKET — MISSING (CARGO DOOR)
SUPPORT FLANGE CRACKED CAUSING INLET ARI GUIDE TO FLUTTER AND BREAK AWAY FROM AIRCRAFT IN FLIGHT. FLUTTER CAUSING SECOND SUPPORT BRACKET TO FAIL. FIN DEPARTED AIRCRAFT AND STRUCK THE TAIL ROTOR SURFACE CAUSING NO OBVIOUS FLIGHT DEFECT BUT BLADE WAS DEEMED NON REPAIRABLE BY MFG. PREFLIGHT AND PERIODIC INSPECTIONS FOR CRACKS REQUIRED.
