ON TAKEOFF, A STRONG, DISTINCT ODOR WAS NOTICED AND LASTED THROUGHOUT THE FLIGHT. IT SMELLED LIKE BURNING WET LOCKER ROOM SOX AND NOW OUR CLOTHES HAVE THAT SAME ODOR. IN MY PAST, THIS WAS FOUND TO BE A BAD ACM SHAFT SEAL. CORRECTIVE ACTION: PERFORMED SERVICE LETTER LS_CL300_01 S REV 0. OPS CHECK GOOD. IAW AMM 21-00-00
APU (EXCEPT GENERATOR): AFTER LANDING AND SWITCHING THE BLEEDS OVER TO THE APU A FOUL ODOR WAS OBSERVED FOLLOWED BY A LOUD WHINING SOUND. THE FIRST OFFICER ALSO OBSERVED THAT HOT AIR WAS COMING OUT OF THE WEMAC LOCATED BELOW THE RIGHT COMM PANEL. WE TOOK THE BLEEDS BACK OFF THE APU AND STILL HEARD THE WHINING. WE IMMEDIATLY SECURED THE APU AND OBSERVED BOTH THE FOUL ODOR AND THE WHINING SOUND CEASED. THERE WERE NOT ANY SMOKE, FIRE, FUMES OR EICAS INDICATIONS. NOTHING ABNORMAL WAS OBSERVED IN THE AFT EQUIPMENT BAY NOR AROUND ANY INLETS. CORRECTIVE ACTION: REPLACED ACM. LEAK CHECKS GOOD. IAW CL-350 AMM 21-52-13
DURING FLIGHT AT FL240 WE FELT A STRONG VIBRATION, FOLLOWED BY A AMBER L HYD TEMP HIGH AND SHORTLY AFTER CYAN L HYD ENG PUMP FAIL. HYD SYS INDICATED 0% AND 109°. AN EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION WAS PERFORMED & ACFT WAS PINNED & TOWED TO RAMP. LARGE PUDDLES OF HYD FLUID WERE PRESENT ON THE TAXI WAY & RAMP. POWERED ON ACFT TO SEE LT HYD PUMP IS AT 0%.0PENED LOWER ENGINE COWL & PERFORMED GENERAL VISUAL INSP ON ENG. SAW HYD FLUID LEAKING ON HYD PUMP. CLEANED HYD FLUID WITH ALCOHOL. SERVICED LT HYD SYS & VERIFIED FUILD LEAKING OUT OF HYD PUMP CASE SPLIT, R & R HYD PUMP IAW AMM 29-12-01. BLED LT HYD PUMP IAW AMM 29-10-00, RAN ENGINES, TAXIED ACFT, DEPERATED FLAPS & SPOILERS. OPS CHKD GOOD.
AFTER OPENING & STEPPING ON MAIN DOOR, IT MADE A NOISE & SEEM TO DROP A FEW MORE INCHES THAN NORMAL. APPEARED TO BE SLIGHTLY LOWER TO GROUND THAN NORMAL, COULD NOT SEE ANY DEFECTS. CLOSING DOOR FROM EXTERIOR WITH ELECTRONIC ASSIST, DOOR WOULD NOT GO UP FAR ENOUGH TO CLOSE. DOOR CAME DOWN, NOTICED DOOR WAS HITTING & RUBBING PAINT ON SIDE OF FUSELAGE. INSP DOOR, NO DEFECTS. NOTED INTERNAL HANDLE HAD NOT PERFORMED ITS 100 DEGREE OF MOVEMENT IAW SDS 52-11-00-00. DISCREPANCY INDUCED BY IMPROPER OPS OF INTERNAL HANDLE. PERFORMED SUCCESSFUL OPS CHECKS IAW SDS 52-11-00-00, NO DEFECTS.
HYDRAULIC PUMP - UPON LOWERING LANDING GEAR, GEAR DISAGREE CAS ILUMINATED FOLLOWED QUICKLY BY L HYD PRESS LOW, BRAKE FAULT AND PROX SYS FAULT CAS MESSAGES. EXECUTED GEAR DISAGREE CHECKLIST AND LANDED ASAP. AFTER SHUTDOWN, OBSERVED EXCESSIVE LEAKING OF HYD FLUID FROM DRAIN MAST. "CORRECTIVE ACTION". CLEANED EQUIPMENT BAY AND LANDING GEAR BAYS OF HYDRAULIC FLUID. OPS CHECKED ALL SYSTEMS AND JACKED AIRCRAFT AND DID GEAR SWINGS, TROUBLESHOT SYSTEM TO DEFECTIVE HYDRAULIC PRESSURE HOSE OFF LEFT DCMP AND INSTALLED NEW HOSE IAW SPM 20-20-00, LEAK CHECKED HYDRAULICS IAW MM 29-00-00 AND OPS GOOD NO LEAKS AT THIS TIME.
