AFTER COMPLETING THE FINAL WALK AROUND AND WALKING UP THE MAIN ENTRY DOOR STAIRS, LOCKING HANDLE POPPED OUT OF THE OPEN POSITION CAUSING THE DOOR TO MOVE DOWNWARD FORCING THE BOTTOM OF THE DOOR INTO FUSELAGE SKIN CAUSING 3 SCUFF MARKS. RETURNED HANDLE TO OPEN POSITION , WHICH MOVED DOOR BACK TO OPEN POSITION , WHEN STEPPING ON STAIRS, HANDLE RELEASES AGAIN. GAINED ACCESS TO MED OPS MECH & PERFORMED A VISUAL INSP OF ALL SURROUNDING AREAS. CONTAMINATION FOUND, ONE OF THE SPRINGS WERE OUT OF ALIGNMENT FOR HATCH HINGE LOCK. SPRING ADJUSTED AND LATCHING MECHANISM CLEANED & LUBED. OPS CHK PERFORMED WITH NO DEFECTS OR BINDING NOTED. DOOR FUNCTIONAL CHKS SATISFACTORY. WORK PERFORMED IAW AMM 52-11-31.

WHILE CLIMBING OUT ON DEPARTURE CREW NOTICED BURNING ODOR, LOOKED BACK AND THE CABIN WAS FILLED WITH SMOKE. AFTER LANDING WE INSPECTED THE AFT EQUIPMENT BAY AND NOTICED A STRONG BURNING ODOR AND POTENTIALLY BURN MARKS ON THE ACM. ATC DECLARED EMERGENCY. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE ACM IAW AMM 21-52-13 OPS AND LEAK GOOD.

DURING TAKEOFF PERFORMED ABORT DUE TO SMOKE IN THE COCKPIT COMING PRIMARILY FROM VENT ON CAPTAIN'S SIDE BIN. SMOKE WAS BLUE IN COLOR & SMELLED LIKE OIL. APU WAS OFF AND BLEEDS WERE ON THE ENGINES. AFTER TAKEOFF POWER WAS APPLIED, PRESSURIZATION & AIRFLOW FELT LIKE IT STARTED TO WORK, THEN WAS REDUCED, THEN CAME BACK STRONG, THEN FELT A SLIGHT PRESSURE SPIKE THEN SMOKE CAME OUT STRONGLY. SMOKE FLOW WAS REDUCED TO ESSENTIALLY NOTHING WHEN POWER WAS BROUGHT TO IDLE DURING ABORT. R & R ACM DUE TO FRICTION CHECK FAIL. OPS CHECKS GOOD, LEAK CHECK GOOD, ALL WORK DONE IAW CMM CH 21-52-57.

ATA 7261

AT FL 450, RED MASTER WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED, WITH LEFT OIL PRESSURE LOW MESSAGE. DIGITAL OIL PRESSURE WAS RED 24. FOLLOWED QRH AND SHUT ENGINE DOWN. NO OTHER INDICATIONS WERE NOTICED DURING THE DESCENT AND LANDING. TROUBLESHOT ENGINE FOR LOW OIL PRESSURE CONDITION. FOUND OIL PUMP TO BE DEFECTIVE. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE LT & RT OIL FILTERS. COMPLIED WITH SIL ON LH/RH ENGINES, ALL MAINTENANCE WAS PERFORMED IAW 72-05-22 AND AMM.
