SOON AFTER DEPARTING BED, FLIGHT CREW NOTED THE “A” SYSTEM HYDRAULIC FLUID QUANTITY WENT TO ZERO PERCENTAGE. CREW RAN THE APPROPRIATE CHECKLIST, DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND ELECTED TO DIVERT TO SWF, WHERE THEY LANDED UNEVENTFULLY. DURING TROUBLESHOOTING, MAINTENANCE FOUND A CRACKED LT HYDRAULIC MANIFOLD PUMP PRESSURE HOSE (P/N: AE1011923H0152). THE HOSE WAS REPLACED WITH NEW; LEAK AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE NORMAL. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.

WHILE EN ROUTE, OPERATING ON A FERRY PERMIT FOR AN EXISTING, INTERMITTENT ELECTRICAL ANOMALY, THE FLIGHT CREW SMELLED ELECTRICAL "SMOKE" WHILE CLIMBING THROUGH FL380. THE FLIGHT CREW DONNED THEIR O2 MASKS AND DECLARED AN EMERGENCY. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED UNEVENTFULLY IN SLC. MAINTENANCE WAS CONTRACTED TO INSPECT AND REPAIR THE AIRCRAFT. AN EXTENSIVE INSPECTION OF NUMEROUS ITEMS AND SYSTEMS WAS PERFORMED AND NO ANOMALIES WERE FOUND. THE AIRCRAFT WAS SUBSEQUENTLY RELEASED WITH NO FURTHER ISSUES NOTED.

WHILE ON DEPARTURE, & CLIMBING THROUGH 5000’, THE FLIGHT CREW RECEIVED A RED, RT PYLON BLEED LEAK, CAS MSG. THE CREW RAN THE CHECKLIST & DECLARED AN EMER. THE DECISION WAS MADE TO DIVERT, WHERE THEY LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. NO BLEED AIR LEAKS WERE FOUND DURING ENG GND RUNS. HOWEVER OUT OF PRECAUTION, BOTH TEMP SENSORS, PN S101816PG, WERE REPLACED WITH NEW ON THE RT PYLON. ENG GND RUN LEAK & OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE NORMAL. ACFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.

DURING CLIMB OUT, THE FLIGHT CREW NOTED AT SEVERAL ALTITUDE CHANGES. WHILE PULLING THE CONTROL YOKE BACK TO CLIMB & ALSO MOVING THE YOKE FWD TO CAPTURE THE ASSIGNED ALTITUDE THAT THERE WAS CONSIDERABLE ROUGHNESS FELT IN THE CONTROL YOKE. ALSO, THEY OBSERVED THE YOKE DISPLAYING A JERKING MOTION DURING CLIMB WITH THE AUTO PILOT ENGAGED. AFTER DISCUSSING THE ISSUE WITH MX CONTROL, THE DECISION WAS MADE TO DIVERT, WHERE THEY LANDED UNEVENTFULLY. UPON TROUBLESHOOTING, MX TECHNICIANS FOUND CORROSION ON THE RT ELEVATOR TORQUE TUBE UPPER BEARING & A FAILED LOWER BEARING. THE UPPER BEARING WAS CLEANED & RE-INSTALLED, WHILE THE LOWER BEARING, PN MS27648-16, WAS REPLACED WITH NEW. OPERATIONAL CHECKS PERFORMED, WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. ACFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.

WHILE CLIMBING-OUT, THE FLIGHT CREW SELECTED THE LANDING GEAR HANDLE TO THE (UP) POSITION. AS THE LANDING GEAR BEGAN TO TRANSITION, A BANG WAS HEARD FOLLOWED BY A LOSS OF THE A SYSTEM HYD FLUID. THE CREW ELECTED TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY AND RETURN TO DEPARTURE. AN EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION WAS SUCCESSFULLY PERFORMED AND THE ACFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MX INSP OF THE ACFT REVEALED THAT THE NOSE WHEEL CENTERING HYD PRESSURE LINE HAD FAILED RESULTING IN THE LOSS OF THE A SYSTEM HYD PRESSURE AND FLUID. THE HYD LINE WAS REPLACED WITH AN IMPROVED DESIGN HOSE.
