FIRE SYS FAULT AMBER CAS: PRIOR TO ENGINE START AMBER FIRE SYS FAULT, CYAN FIREX BTL 1 LOW, FIREX BTL 2 LOW CAS MESSAGES ILLUMINATED CONTINUOUSLY. CYAN FIREX BTL 2 FAULT ILLUMINATES INTERMITTENTLY. PHYSICALL VY CHECKED BOTH FIRE BOTTLES AND FOUND TO BE WITHIN SERVICEABLE RANGE PER CL-350 AMM, CH. 26-21-00. PERFORMED FIREX PILOT INITIATED TEST SEVERAL TIMES AND NOTED NO DEFECTS REF CL-350 AMM, CH. 26-11-00 AS APPLICABLE. NO ACTIVE MDC FAULTS. NO HISTORICAL FAULTS RELATED TO FIREX SYSTEM IN RECENT MDC HISTORY. AT THIS TIME, NO DEFECTS NOTED AND NO FURTHER MAINTENANCE ACTION IS REQUIRED.
LEFT MLG LANDING GEAR RETRACTION DID NOT RETRACT - AFTER TAKEOFF, LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR DID NOT INDICATE RETRACTED. AMBER GEAR DISAGREE CAS MESSAGE POSTED, FOLLOWED WITH THE CYAN PROX SYSTEM FAULT CAS MESSAGE. FAULT CODE B3-007504 IN DIAGNOSTICS. NO ADVERSE YAW OR AIR NOISE WAS EVIDENT WHEN LEFT MAIN GEAR WAS INDICATING EXTENDED. NORMAL PROCEDURES WERE USED TO EXTEND OTHER TWO GEAR. LIFTED COMPLETE AIRCRAFT WITH JACKS IAW CL350 MM TASK 07-10-01-582-801. REMOVED LEFT MLG WHEEL BIN TO GAIN ACCESS TO L E BRACE ACTUATOR. REMOVED FAILED LEFT SIDE BRACE ACTUATOR IAW CL350 MM TASK 32-32-07-000-801. OK TO INSTALL. MODIFIED SIDE BRACE ACTUATOR TASK 32-32-07-400-801. REINSTALLED RIGHT MLG WHEEL BIN AND TESTED FIRE LOOP AS REQUIRED. BLEED THE LEFT AND RIGHT HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS IAW CL350 M TASK29-10-00-870-801. SERVICED THE LEFT AND RIGHT HYDRAULIC SYSTEM RESERVOIRS IAW CL350 MM TASK 12-12-00-611-801. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL TEST OF THE EXTENSION AND RETRACTIONS SYSTEM IAW CL350 MM TASK 32-30-00-710-801 WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. TEST OF THE EXTENSION AND RETRACTION SYSTEM IAW CL350 MM TASK 32-30-00-720-801 WITH NO DEFECT~. .OPERATIONAL TEST OF THE LANDING GEAR EMERGENCY EXTENSION IAW CL350 MM TASK 32-34-00-710-801 WITH NO DEFECTS~OT~D. ALL OPERATIONAL CHECKS AND LEAK CHECKS ARE GOOD. NO RIGGING REQUIRED. REMOVED AIRCRAFT FROM JACKS, REMOVED 3EA JACK PADS AND REINS~ EA JACK PAD PLUGS IAW CL300 MM TASK 07-10- -586-801
PRIMARY STAB TRIM FAILED CLIMBING THROUGH 6,000 FEET. PERFORMED CHECKLIST AND RETURNED FOR LANDING. REPLACED THE MOTOR CONTROL UNIT.
AFTER TAKEOFF, RT MLG INDICATED YELLOW & THEN RED. RAN CHECKLIST PROCEDURE TO INCLUDE CYCLING THE GEAR & ALL GEAR RETRACTED NORMALLY. REMOVED FAILED RT MLG ACTUATOR. INSTALLED MODIFIED ACTUATOR. WORK DONE IAW CMP CODE 321004. PERFORMED MLG HYD ACTUATOR BLEEDING IAW MM 32-10-20. OPS & LEAK CHECKED WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED.
DURING TAXI OUT, BOTH CREW MEMBERS NOTED LIGHT SMOKE FOLLOWED BY AN OIL ODOR. APU WAS SUPPLYING BLEED AIR FOR ECS AT THE TIME. APU WAS IMMEDIATELY SHUTDOWN, ECS SELECTED TO BOTH (ENGINES) POSITION ON PANEL CONDITIONS DID NOT IMPROVE. RETURNED TO RAMP, AND SHUTDOWN. NO EVIDENCE OF SOURCE WAS FOUND. INSPECTED APU INLET AND FOUND SIGNS OF BURNED OIL AROUND COMPRESSOR HUB. R & R APU IAW MM 49-00-00. OPS & LEAK CHECKED GOOD. RAN BOTH ENGINES AND APU, OIL ODOR IS NO LONGER PRESENT. REF MM 21-00-00.
AFTER LANDING GEAR RETRACTION, RT LANDING GEAR INDICATION DISPLAYED A RED ON THE ICAS DISPLAY. THERE WAS A NOTICABLE VIBRATION. REFERENCED QRH, PUT GEAR DOWN AND DISPLAYED THREE GREEN. LANDED NORMALLY. REMOVED RT MLG SIDEBRACE ACTUATOR AND INSTALLED IAW CMP 321004. PERFORMED EMERGENCY LANDING GEAR FUNCTIONAL CHECK IAW CMP G20O 323009 WITH NO DEFECTS.
AT TAKEOFF POWER THE BLEED PRESSURE/ TEMP HIGH RED CAS MESSAGE ILLUMINATED. R & R LT AND RT PRSOV'S IAW MM 21-20-04. OPS AND LEAK CHECKS GOOD.
BOTH RT MAIN TIRES ARE BLOWN OUT AFTER ATTEMPTING TO STOP WITH NORMAL BRAKING, THEN HAVING TO SWITCH TO EMERGENCY BRAKING TO STOP. REMOVED AND REPLACED BOTH NR 3 & NR 4 MLG WHEEL ASSY IAW AMM 32-40-15.
WHEN MLG WAS SELECTED UP, RT MAIN & NOSE GEAR INDICATED UP, LT MAIN INDICATED AMBER, THEN RED. RAN QRH PROCEDURE FOR "LANDING GEAR DOES NOT LOCK UP". ALL 3 GEAR INDICATED DOWN & THEN WHEN GEAR SELECTED UP, LT MAIN STAYED DOWN, NOSE & RT MAIN INDICATED UP. GEAR THEN CYCLED DOWN WITH ALL 3 DOWN INDICATIONS. DURING FLT A SLIGHT PULL TO LT NOTED WITH LT MAIN RED HASH MARKS AND DOWN. REMOVED LT MLG ACTUATOR & INSTALLED REPAIRED ACTUATOR. PERFORMED SATISFACTORY, GEAR SWINGS (APPROX 20), LEAK CHECKS, INTERFERENCE CHECKS & ALL OPS CHECKS ON LT MLG. ALL MLG CYCLED NORMAL WITH 3000 PSI HYD PRESS. FROM HYD. MULE. ALL MLG INDICATIONS ON EICAS NORMAL. WORK PERFORMED IAW MM 32-10-20, 32-10-15, 32-10-10 AND CMP 321003.
AFTER ENGINE START (BOTH ENGINES STARTED) WITH ECS SELECTOR STILL IN (RAM), APU FIRE WARNING MESSAGE ILLUMINATED. T/S FOUND BLOWN FUSE 405. REPLACED FUSE WITH NEW PART. OPS CHECK GOOD. IAW MM 26-10-25.
