CORROSION WAS FOUND AT FASTENER HOLES ON THE LOWER FUSELAGE EXTERNAL SKIN FS 422 WHERE THE LOWER FUSELAGE TO WING FAIRING ATTACHED TO THE FUSELAGE. AFTER REMOVAL OF THE CORROSION AND EVALUATION THE AFFECTED AREAS THE REMAINING SKIN THICKNESS WAS FOUND TO BE BELOW THE REQUIRED IMINIUMS PER THE CL-350 SRM. ENGINEERING ASSISTANCE WAS REQUESTED. AQRD SUPPLIED REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS AWQRD ERO-982039 REV A DATED NOV 01, 2024.
CABIN EMERG LIGHT: MULTIPLE INTERIOR EMERGENCY LIGHTS INOP. FLOOR LIGHT ON SEAT 4R, OVERHEAD LIGHT ON SEATS 2L AND 3R. //CORRECTIVE ACTION//FLOOR LIGHT ON SEAT 4LINOP; FOUND THE LIGHT DISCONNECTED, RE-CONNECTED LIGHT. FOR THE OVERHEAD LIGHT ON SEATS 2L AND 3R, PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK AND FOUND THEM NOT WORKING. CONFIRMED WIRING AND BULB CONDITION . DID FUNCTIONAL TEST OF EXTERIOR EMERGENCY LIGHTING TAW BOMBARDIER CHALLENGER 350 AMM 33-51-00 AND DETERMINED THE FORWARD POWER SUPPLY IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. POWER SUPPLY IS P.0.0 (WEG & JT 08/31/22) RECEIVED BATTERY SUPPLY AND WENT TO INSTALL. FOUND CABIN INTERIOR EMERGENCY LIGHT BOX UNPLUGGED ,CONNECTED AND LET CHARGE FOR 45 MINS.AFTER THAT WE TESTED AND STILL NO CABIN INTERIOR EMERGENCE LIGHT ON. REMOVED AND REPLACED INTERIOR EMERGENCY BATTERY POWER SUPPLY WITH NEW, CUSTOMER SUPPLIED POWER SUPPLY. OPS CHECK GOOD. REF CL350 SMM 33-50-03.
STRONG SAVORY SCENT NOTICED WHILE APU PROVIDES CABIN AIR. ON ROLLOUT AFTER LANDING, APU BEGAN TO INCREASE AIRFLOW STRONGLY & A SMALL AMOUNT OF SMOKE WAS SEEN, SHUT OFF THE AIR SOURCE CONTROL. FOUND THE ACM FAILED, CAUSED BY RAM AIR CIRCUIT BLOCKAGE, REVEALED INSECT CONTAMINATION IN DUAL HEAT EXCHANGER. R & R THE ACM WITH REPAIRED UNIT IAW AMM 21-52-13. R & R DUAL HEAT EXCHANGER WITH A NEW UNIT IAW AMM 21-52-09. CLEANED, INSPECTED, AND REPLACED ALL SEALS ON ALL ASSOCIATED DUCTING. ALL ACCESSED AREAS LEAK & OPS CHECKED GOOD, NO DEFECTS NOTED. DURING RUN UP NOTED NO OIL, SAVORY, OR BAD SMELLS. CABIN & COCKPIT TEMPERATURE CAN NOW BE ADJUSTED TO BOTH HOT & COLD RANGES WITHOUT ISSUE.
UPON POWER UP, BURNING ELEC SMELL NOTED IN CABIN. APPLIED POWER TO ACFT & VERIFIED THE DISCREPANCY. OHMED THE FOLLOWING WIRING, CB60 A2 FOR 28 VDC, K181 A1 & A2 FOR 28VDC K181 X1 FOR 28VDC K181 X2 FOR GND, ALL CHECKED OUT GOOD. PS5P1 AT INVERTER, PINS C, E FOR GNDS CHECKED GOOD, PIN B FOR 28 VDC CHECKED GOOD. CHECKED CB61 A1 FOR 115 VAC & ONLY READ 49 TO 51 VAC OUTPUT FROM THE INVERTER. INVERTER IS NOT SUPPLYING THE PROPER 115AC NEEDED TO POWER OUTLETS OR ALLOWING GFI'S TO RESET. ALSO VERIFIED THE BURNT ODOR FROM THE GALLEY GFI. GALLEY GFI & INVERTER REQUIRE REPLACEMENT WIRE. TROUBLESHOOTING DONE IAW WO W100242113 REV D 8 19 15. REMOVED INVERTER & INSTALLED REPAIRED SERVICEABLE INVERTER IAW SMM 24-25-01-000-801. REMOVED GALLEY GFI & INSTALLED NEW SERVICEABLE GFI IAW 24-25-01-400-801. NOTED THAT LAVATORY GFI WOULD NOT RESET UPON OPERATIONS CHECK OF GALLEY GFI. R & R LAVATORY GFI IAW SMM PART II TASK 24-25-07-000-801 & 24-25-07-400-801.
