LEFT OUTBOARD FLAP TRACK HAS SEVERE EXFOLIATION CORROSION.
RIGHT OUTBOARD FLAP TRACK HAS SEVERE EXFOLIATION CORROSION.
REMOVED LT WING INBD FLAP, DUE TO CORROSION ON FLAP TRACK GREATER THAN 15%.
AFTER LANDING, DURING TAXI. AS ACFT WAS MAKING A LT TURN OFF OF TAXIWAY, BRAKING SYS BECAME UNRESPONSIVE TO LT TURN & RUDDER BRAKE INPUT. WAS ABLE TO GET ACFT STOPPED WITHOUT INCIDENT BY APPLYING FULL RT BRAKE APPLICATION. ACFT SHUTDOWN. TROUBLESHOT ACFT AND R & R THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS. PILOT'S LT BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER AND THE LT BRAKE ASSY. MX THOROUGHLY BLED THE BRAKE SYS AND A GROUND OPS CHECK WAS PERFORMED WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. ALL WORK COMPLETED IAW MM 32-41-00 AND 32-40-00.
SMOKE COMING FROM THE RADAR INDICATOR.
AIR RETURNED, DUE TO PILOT EXPERIENCING SMOKE IN THE COCKPIT. PILOT NOTICED THE RADAR INDICATOR BLINKING OFF AND ON. MAINT CONFIRMED THAT THE SMOKE WAS COMING FROM THE RADAR INDICATOR. THE RADAR SYSTEM WAS DEFERRED AND IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT NO POWER WAS TO THE SYSTEM. PARTS ORDERED. (K)
WING STRINGER WAS FOUND CRACKED DURING A ROUTINE INSPECTION. CAUSE OF STRINGER FAILURE UNKNOWN. TWELVE OTHER, P/N 2622000-64, STRINGERS HAVE BEEN FOUND CRACKED ON 208 AND 208B AIRCRAFT WITH PART TT RANGING FROM 596 TO 6511 HOURS.
