DURING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE, FOUND SEAT BACK FRAME CORRODED THROUGH.

UPON DISASSEMBLY OF GEARBOX, REMOVED OIL PUMP ASSY. VISUALLY INSPECTED, SHOWED WEAR AT SCAVENGE BODY AND SCAVENGE TUBE MATING SURFACE. SCAVENGE TUBE WORE INTO SCAVENGE BODY. SUSPECT CAUSE IS DUE TO IMPROPER FIT ON ALIGNMENT BRACKETS.

DISASSEMBLED GEARBOX TO INSPECT GEARBOX FOR MAKING METAL. FOUND CAUSE TO BE THE P.T.O. GEAR, IMPROPER MACHINING ON THE GEAR TEETH. DISCOVERED THE TORQUE METER GEAR TO BE MAKING METAL DUE TO THE IMPROPER MACHINING ON THE P.T.O. GEAR TEETH.
