WHILE CLIMBING THROUGH APPROX FL310, A LOUD REVERBERATING/THUMPING NOISE WITH CRACKLING STATIC NOISE BEGAN EMANATING FROM RT FWD CABIN INTERIOR SIDEWALL. ALSO A VIBRATION & WARMTH COULD BE FELT ALONG INTERIOR WALL. DIVERTED TO KBIL. NOISE CONTINUED AFTER ENG & APU SHUTDOWN, BUT STOPPED IMMEDIATELY WHEN BATTERIES TURNED OFF. ARFF FLIR ALSO SHOWED WARMER TEMPS IN AREA DESCRIBED. REMOVED RT INTERIOR PANEL TO GAIN ACCESS INSPECTED WIRING OF SPEAKERS & CONDITION OF SPEAKERS. OPS ENTERTAIN SYS FOR 1.5 HOURS TO DUPLICATE NOISE & HEAT. NO ABNORMAL NOISE OR HEAT SPOTS FOUND. REINSTALLED RT INTERIOR PANEL. SYSTEM OPS CHKD GOOD, ALL WORK IAW SMM 25-26-11 AND SMM 44-21-03.

COCKPIT ODOR: SHORTLY AFTER TRANSFERRING THE BLEEDS FROM THE APU TO THE ENGINES, BOTH PILOTS NOTICED AN ACRID SMELL IN THE COCKPIT. MAX ALTITUDE WAS 12000 FEET AND AIRSPEED OF 270 KTS. WE WERE UNSBLE TO DETERMINE IF THE ODOR WAS REDUCED WHEN THE BLEEDS WERE TRANSFERRED BACK FROM ENGINES TO APU. AIRCRAFT WAS NOT DEICED BEFORE TAKEOFF AND BEEN IN MAINTENANCE FOR OVER A WEEK. // SIGN OFF // C/W SERVICE LETTER LS CL300 01 NO DEFECTS NOTED LS CL300 01 REV 1 DATED AVG 07/19 FAILED TO REPLICATE IN FLIGHT ODOR WITH HIGH POWER RUN ADD 1 CYCLE TO EACH ENGINE
