AS US CUSTOMS AGENT WALKED DOWN THE AIRSTAIR, THE FORWARD AIRSTAIR DOOR GAS STRUT BROKE OFF THE ATTACH POINT OF THE DOOR. IT APPEARS THE BOLTS SHEERED OFF. EXTRACTED BROKEN HARDWARE AND VERIFIED NO FURTIIER DAMAGE NOTED. INSTALLED NEW HARDWARE AND OPS CHECKED DOOR WITH NO FURTIIER DEFECTS NOTED. WORK PERFORMED YAW 2.L350 SPM 20-21-00.
WHILE IN CRUISE FLIGHT WITH FLAPS RETRACTED AND GEAR RETRACTED, IN SMOOTH AIR, WE EXPERIENCED SEVERE MOUNTAIN WAVE. WITH THROTTLES AT IDLE & SPEED BRAKES FULLY DEPLOYED WE ACCELERATED BEYOND MMO (.83) TO MACH .86 AND CLIMBED OVER 500' IAW AMM 05-51-09-210-801 GENERAL VISUAL INSPECTION AFTER EXTREME TURBULENCE/MANEUVER, THE MAXIMUM NORMAL (VERTICAL) ACCELERATION VALUE 1.542969 (G) IS IN THE ENVELOPE OF NO INSPECTION REQUIRED NO MATTER THE AIRCRART WEIGHT. THE MAXIMUM LATERAL ACCELERATION VALUE 0.095703 (G) IS IN THE ENVELOPE OF NO INSPECTION REQUIRED NO MATTER THE AIRCRAFT WEIGHT. MAXIMUM AIRSPEED RECORDED DURING THE FLIGHT WAS 294.25 KNOTS, BELOW THE MAXIMUM VMO OF THE AIRCRAFT
ENTRANCE STAIR GAS STRUT: LEFT SIDE ENTRANCE STAIR FORWARD STRUT HAS SHEARED OFF AT THE TOP HINGE POINT ARRIVED AT AC. CONFIRMED DISCREPANCY. PREPPED AC FOR MAINTENANCE. REMOVED SHEARED BOLT AS REQUIRED. INSPECTED FUSELAGE TELESCOPING STRUT, FUSELAGE ANCHOR POINT AND MED ANCHOR POINT. NO DEFECTS NOTED. WAITED FOR REPLACEMENT PARTS TO ARRIVE. ACCOMPLISHED INCOMING PART CHECK, PART CHECK GOOD. ARRIVED AT AC. INSTALLED NEW BOLT P/N NAS6305U7 IAW CL-350 AMM 52-11-41. PERFORMED AND FOUND OPERATIONAL TEST SATISFACTORY. CLOSED AND SECURED AC. 18NOV2024
AFTER LANDING WE SMELLED AN UNUSUAL SMOKE SMELL BUT THOUGHT IT WAS FROM OUTSIDE. AFTER STARTING APU AND SELECTING AIR SOURCE ON, NOTICED UNUSUAL SOUND AND SMOKE BOTH IN COCKPIT AND CABIN. SOON AFTER, CAUTION PACK TEMP HIGH CAS MESSAGE DISPLAYED. WE COMPLIED WITH QRH2 THEREAFTER. REMOVED AND REPLACED ACM.
RIGHT ENGINE ENGINE COMPRESSOR STALL: ON ROTATION FOR TAKEOFF A SCRAPING SOUND WAS HEARD FROM THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT. IT WASN'T A SOUND I HAD HEARD BEFORE IN THIS AIRPLANE. AFTER THE FACT, THE OWNER COMMENTED SHE HEARD TWO DISTINCT POPS AT THAT TIME. I DID NOT NOTICE ANY INSTRUMENT FLUCTUATIONS, BUT OUT OF CAUTION WE FLEW THE PLANE LONG ENOUGH TO PUT US UNDER LANDING WEIGHT, DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND LANDED UNEVENTFULLY. WE HAD LESS THAN A TEN KNOT CROSSWIND DURING TAKEOFF ROLL. ALL OTHER PARAMETERS SEEMED TOTALLY NORMAL.//SIGNOFF// BORESCOPE INSPECTION OF RH ENG, REMOVED COWLS. ACCESSED DIFFERENT ENGINE AREAS FOR BORESCOPE. BORESCOPED. CLOSED ACCESS AREAS. RE-INSTALLED COWL. SENT FINDINGS OVER TO HONEYWELL AND NJA. HONEYWELL DID NOT SEE ANY MAJOR ISSUES. NJA RECOMMENDS PERFORMING COMPRESSOR STALL NJA TASK 055201 AS PER NJA DECISION, RH ENG WILL BE R/R'D REF. ITEM 1.17 (STANDARD AERO WILL BE CONDUCTING ENG REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT) STANDARD AERO IS CONDUCTING RH ENG R/R, I ASSISTED IN ENG COWL REMOVAL AND COMPONENTS REMOVAL, STANDARD AERO WILL REQUIRED AN ENGINE RUN QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN ONCE ENG INSTALL COMPLETED. THEY WILL STANDARD AERO REQUESTED ASSISTANCE FOR ENGINE CHANGE. OPERATED FORKLIFT TO REMOVE ENGINE, T/R AND INLET, ALSO ASSITED SWAP ENG COMPONENTS FROM OLD ENG TO NEW ENG. BOXED OLD ENGINE AND INSTALLED NEW ENG, INLET AND T/R ASSY FINISHED INSTALING ALL ENGINE COMPONENTS AND COWLINGS. PERFORMED WET, DRY AND NORMAL RUNS, ALSO CONDUCTED PERFORMANCE RUNS ALONG W/ THRUST REVERSER SYSTEM CHECK AND RH ENG BLEED AIR OPS/LEAK CK. ALL CHECKS GOOD. NO LEAKS NOTED. ALL WORK ACCOMPUSHED IAW CL350 MM 71-00-01·000-801, 71·00-01-400-801, 71·00-00-866·806, 71-00-00--866·805,
