WHILE OPENING MAIN DOOR AFTER A FLT, FO NOTED MAIN DOOR DIFFICULT TO OPEN. ATTEMPT TO CLOSE & OPEN DOOR & NO ISSUES. ON 2ND FLT, DIFFICULT TO OPEN. ONCE DOOR CYCLED 1 TIME, EASY TO CLOSE & OPEN. OPENED & CLOSED MED WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. PRESSURIZED ACFT TO 2PSI DELTA P VERIFIED AFTER PRESSURIZING, MED GRINDING WHEN OPENED. PERFORMED VISUAL INSPECT OF MED. FOUND CROWN WASHERS ON ROLLERS DID NOT HAVE REQUIRED CLEARANCE. REMOVED ALL 4 GUIDE FITTINGS REF AMM 52-11-01. INSTALLED 4 NEW GUIDE FITTINGS REF AMM 52-11-01. REMOVED ALL 4 CAM FOLLOWERS REF AMM 52-11-01. INSTALLED 4 NEW CAM FOLLOWERS REF AMM 52-11-02. RIGGING & OPS CHK OF GUIDE FITTINGS & CAM FOLLOWERS GOOD. NO FAULTS REF AMM-52-11-01.
FUSELAGE DOOR FRAME: WHEN OPENING THE MAIN CABIN DOOR THERE WAS A POPOING NOISE AND THE DOOR WAS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO OPEN. CORRECTIVE ACTION: BEGAN TROUBLESHOOTING. POWERED UP AIRCRAFT AND PERFORMED OPS CHECKS OF MED MULTIPLE TIMES WITH NO DEFECTS. GAINED ACCESSS TO DOOR MECHANISM. ACTUATED INNER AND OUTER HANDLE AND INSPECTED FOR ANY SIGNS OF BINDING WITH NO FAULTS NOTED. PERFORMED A GVI OF MECHANISM FOR ANY SIGNS OF LOOSE HARDWARE WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. CONTINUED BY PERFORMING GVI OF MED STOPS AND FOUND THE AFT SECOND FROM THE BOTTOM DOOR STOP WITH TWO GOUGES. ALSO FOUND THE STOPS IN THE AIRFRAME SIDE WORN. THE WORSE ONE IS AT .03 INCHES IN DEPTH. SENT PICTURES TO MCC FOR REVIEW. WAITING FOR ENGINEERING. WORK IAW CL-350 MM 52-11-00. REVIEWED PREVIOUS TECH PASSDOWN AND REVIEWED CRC RECOMMENDATIONS. THE STOPS ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE GAUGES AS LONG AS THEIRS NOT CRACKS OR CORROSION PRESENT. NO CRACKS NOR CORROSION NOTED. ALSO COMPARED IT TO ANOTHER CL350 PRESENT AND DOWN FOR MX. AND IT SHOWS SAME WARE AND TEAR FROM NORMAL OPERATION. PERFORMED MULTIOPLE DOOR OPS/CK'S INCLUDING W/ APU BLEED AND AFTER PRESSURIZAING THE CABIN. ALLOWED PRESSURE TO DROP TO 0.0 PSI AND OPERATED MED DOOR. NO SHIFT WAS NOTED. BOTH AFT AND FWD PORTIONS OF THE SHOW SAME GAP BETWEEN STOPS AND TRACK. ACCESSED AIRSTAIRS AND ALL MECHANISM WORKING AS ADVERTISED. NO BINDING NOTED. NO DEFECTS NOTED. RELAYED MESSAGE OVER TO MCC AND THEY AGREE TO SIGN OFF. ALL WORK DONE IAW CL350 MM 53÷20÷00. 52-11-00. OK TO CONTINUE.
MAIN CABIN DOOR JAMMED WHILE TRYING TO OPEN IT FROM THE INSIDE. THE HANDLE WOULDN'T MOVE FAR ENOUGH TO MOVE THE ROLLERS OUT OF THEIR TRACKS. WE RESEATED THE DOOR FULLY INTO THE SECURE POSITION, TRIED AGAIN AND HAD THE SAME RESULT 3 TIMES. ON THE FOURTH TRY THE BINDING WENT AWAY AND THE DOOR OPENED AND LOWERED ITSELF NORMALLY. INSPECTED MED DOOR BY PERFORMING MULTIPLE OPENING AND CLOSING CYCLES OF THE MED DOOR USING RED DOOR HANDLE WITH NO FAULTS FOUND. CLEANED AND LUBED DOOR PINS. ALL WORK ACCOMPLISHED IN REF WITH CL350 AMM 52-11-00
MAIN DOOR HANDLE: MAIN DOOR UNLOCK AND RELEASE IS INTERMITTENT WHEN USING INTERIOR HANDLE.
DEPARTED, SHUT DOWN APU, TURNED OFF BLEEDS, THEN SMOKE APPEARED IN THE COCKPIT. ALSO SMELL OF BURNT OIL. RETURNED FOR LANDING. REMOVED FAILED ACM PN:3471A020000 SN 00734 AND INSTALLED CUSTOMER SUPPLIED MODIFIED ACM PN: 3471A020000 SN: 00430. PERFORMED SATISFACTORY OPS/LEAK CHECKS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. REF BD-100 AMM 24-52-13
ENTRANCE STAIR EXTENSION: AIR STAIR DOOR OPENS NORMALLY BUT WHEN I STEPPED ON THE STAIRS THE HANDLE JUMPS FROM ITS'S OVER-CENTER POSITION TO AN UNSECURED POSITION AND THE DOOR DROPS TO A POSITION ABOUT 1/2 INCH FROM THE GROUND AND BINDS AGAINST THE FUSELAGE. THE DOOR CANNOT BE CLOSED FROM INSIDE THE AIRCRAFT AFTER THIS HAS OCCURRD. WHEN I TRIED CLOSING THE DOOR FROM THE OUTSIDE, IT WOULD ONLY CLOSE AFTER I MOVE THE HANDLE MANUALLY BACK TO THE OVER-CENTER POSITION. AFTER INSPECTION OF WHERE THE DOOR WAS BINDING AGAINST THE FUSELAGE, AN AREA ABOUT THE SIZE OF A QUARTER ON THE FUSELAGE HAS THE PAINT CHIPPED OR SCRAPED AWAY AND SAME ON THE DOOR. TO MAKE SURE I DIDN'T MAKE A MISTAKE OPENING THE DOOR THE FIRST TIME, I REPEATED THE PROCESS WITH THE SAME RESULTS. // SIGNOFF// ACCOMPLISHED FUNCTIONAL TEST OF PASS DOOR PER BD-100 AMM 52-11-00- 720· 801. ALL CHECKS GOOD. REMOVED AIRSTAIR (832AZ), TASK 52·11-31-000-801 TO FACILITATE THE FOLLOWING INSPECTIONS; PASS DOOR INTERNAL GENERAL VISUAL PER TASK 52-11-00·210·802, PASS DOOR INTERNAL STRUCTURE DETAILED INSPECTION PER TASK 52â¢11-00-220-801, PASS DOOR DETAILED INSPECTION OF SURROUND STRUCTURE AND FITTINGS - INTERNAL, PER TASK 52-11-00-220·802. NO ANOMALIES NOTED AS A RESULT OF ABOVE INSPECTIONS. REINSTALLED AIRSTAIR (832AZ) PER B0·100 AMM 52-11-31·400·801. REMOVED AND REPLACED FWD & AFT TELESCOPING STRUTS DUE TO LEAKING FLUID, WITH NEW CUSTOMER FURNISHED PARTS, P/N OFF 1005210250-017, S/N OFF FWD POSITION S/N 1517, S/N OFF AFT POSITION 1528, P/N ON 1005210250-019, FWD POSITION S/N 0078, AFT POSITION S/N 0056, INSTALLED PER 80-100 AMM 52-11-41â¢000-801. ACCOMPLISHED ADJUSTMENT TEST OF DOOR TELESCOPING STRUT PER BD-100 AM M TASK 52·11-41-820·801. TASK COMPLETE. COMPLIED WITH AO RD ER0-108573.
R ENGINE VIBRATION AMBER CAS: ON DECENT IN KAFW THRU FL340, GOT A VIBRATION BROUGHT THROTTLES BACK, ONE AT A TIME & FELT RT ENG VIBRATING. THE AMBER RT ENG VIBE CAS ILLUM. RAN CHKLIST & LT IT AT IDLE ROUGHLY 10 MINS, LATER RT ENG FLAMED OUT MESSAGE ILLUM. ALL ENG INDICATIONS NORMAL. RT ENG ITT WENT UP JUST BEFORE FLAMEOUT. RAN INFLT ENG SHUTDOWN QRC & SECURED ENG. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE ENGINE, COMPLIED WITH SERVICING, LEAK CHECKS & PERFORMANCE RUNS IAW AMM 71-00-01. OPS TEST SATISFACTORY.
MAIN DOOR: HEARD A LOUD POP AS A CREW MEMBER WALKED UP THE STAIRS. IT LOOKS LIKE IT IS HANGING LOWER NOW AND CONTACTS THE FUSELAGE WITH WEIGHT ON THE DOOR. WE ATTEMPTED TO CLOSE DOOR AND IT REMAINS APPROX 4" OPEN AND WILL NOT SECURE. PERFORMED EXTERNAL GVI OF PASSENGER DOOR. NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED AT THIS TIME. PERFORMED INTERNAL GVI OF PASSENGER DOOR. NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED AT THIS TIME. VERIFIED DOOR IS PROPERLY ALIGNED WHEN CLOSED. NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED AT THIS TIME. OPENED AND CLOSED MED VARIOUS TIMES AND DID NOT ENCOUNTER ANY ISSUES PULLING THE HANDLE TO OPEN OR PUSHING THE HANDLE TO CLOSE. THERE IS NO BINDING OF THE MOTOR. INSPECTED DOOR CABLE AND REEL ASSEMBLY. NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED AT THIS TIME. CONTACTED MCC WITH FINDINGS AND THEY'VE CHOSEN TO RELEASE THE AIRCRAFT AT THIS TIME. ALL WORK PERFORMED PER 350 AMM 52-11-00.
AFTER TAKEOFF WITH ENGINES AT CLIMB POWER, THE L PYLON BLEED LEAK RED CAS MESSAGE ILLUMINATED. THRUST LEVER WAS REDUCED TO IDLE IAW CHECKLIST. AFTER APPROX 1 MINUTE THE MESSAGE CLEARED. ENGINE WAS LEFT AT IDLE WHILE WE RETURNED FOR LANDING. REMOVED AND REPLACED L PYLON BLEED LOOP MT63 WITH NEW UNIT AND REPLACED LEFT INTERMIEDIATE BLEED VALVE WITH REPAIRED UNIT OPS AND LEAK CHECKED GOOD 36-21-05 36-11-05 36-11-00
AFTER TAKEOFF WITH ENGINES AT CLIMB POWER, THE LT PYLON BLEED LEAK RED CAS MESSAGE CAME ON. THRUST LEVER WAS REDUCED TO IDLE PER CHECKLIST. AFTER APPROX 1 MINUTE THE MESSAGE CLEARED. ENGINE WAS LEFT AT IDLE WHILE WE RETURNED FOR LANDING.
DISTINCT SMELL OF ELECTRICAL SMOKE IN CABIN AND COCKPIT AND A NOTICEABLE HAZE OF SMOKE VISIBLE. OPERATED GROUND TEST APU TWICE FOR APPROX 20-25 MIN IAW 650 MM 49-10-00. NO NOTICEABLE SIGNS OF SMOKE IN CABIN. RAN CABIN TEMP TO FULL HOT AND COLD. BITE CHECKED BOX. NO FAULTS FOUND PER 650 MM 49-00-00. VISUALLY CHECKED BOTH ACM OIL LEVELS, COALESCERS, COCKPIT & CABIN TEMP SENSORS, COCKPIT CIRCUIT BREAKER PANELS & OPS CHECK ALL INTERLIGHTING IAW 650 IMM CHAPTERS 21-00-000, 12-00-00, 24-00-00 & 33-00-00. NO DEFECTS NOTED.
DURING FLIGHT FROM GSO TO LUK, REAR ACM LEAKING OIL WITH STRONG ODOR IN CABIN. AIRCRAFT CONTINUED AND LANDED AT LUK. REMOVED AND REPLACED REAR ACM, INSTALLED AN OVHD UNIT OF THE SAME P/N WORK DONE IAW HAMILTON STANDARD MM 21-50-03. SERVICED TO PROPER LIMITS.
DURING THE TAKEOFF ROLL, THE RED "SMOKE DETECT" LIGHT CAME ON TRIGGING THE MASTER WARNING, DURING THE TAXI BACK TO THE FBO THE LIGHT AND MASTER WARNING KEPT ON ILLUMINATING AND FLASHING. TROUBLESHOT SYSTEM AND FOUND SMOKE DETECTOR BOX FAULTY. REMOVED DEFECTIVE SMOKE DETECTOR BOX AND INSTALL NEW CUSTOMER SUPPLIED UNIT IAW CE 650 MM CH 26-12-04. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK WITH APU AND ENGINES RUNNING AND NO FURTHER DEFECTS WERE NOTED AT THIS TIME.
WHEN AUTOPILOT A-SIDE ENGAGED SYSTEM FLAGGED FAIL CYCLED TO B-SIDE, AND DEFECTED RIGHT RUDDER INPUTS RUDDER INPUTS BECAME INCREASINGLY AGGRESSIVE PIC AND SIC COMMAND BARS SHOWED 2-3 DEGREES TO BANK DISAGREEMENT. RAN AUTOPILOT TEST IAW CE650 MM 22-10-00; NO DEFECTS NOTED. PERFORMED GROUND CHECK OF THE SPZ-8000 SYSTEM IAW HONEYWELL TECH PUB A15-1146-058 CHAPTER 22-05-07, FOUND NO ERRORS. NO FAULTS STORED IN FLIGHT FAULT SUMMARY. SWAPPED FGC'S & PERFORMED OPS CHECKS. OPS CHECKED GOOD PER ABOVE REFERENCES.
FUEL LINE IS CHAFING ON WIRING HARNESS THAT RUNS JUST AFT OF THE TRANSFER GEARBOX ON BOTH ENGINES. INSTALL SPIRAL WRAP AROUND FUEL LINE OR SEPARATE WIRES AND LINE WITH ADEL CLAMPS.
