FLIGHT 8775 ROUTE: PHX-FLG DISCREPANCY: DURING TAKEOFF, THE TORQUE GAUGE BEGAN TO GIVE ERRATIC READINGS. PILOT ELECTED TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY AND RETURN TO PHX. LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. CORRECTIVE ACTION: MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE TORQUE INDICATOR. ALL CHECKS GOOD.
FLIGHT 7778 GUP - ABQ: WHILE IN CRUISE AT 15000FT, THE AIRCRAFT HAD AN UN-COMMANDED ENGINE SHUTDOWN. THE PILOT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND LANDED SUCCESSFULLY INTO GNT. MAINTENANCE WILL BE REPLACING THE ENGINE.
FLIGHT 7775 BIRD STRIKE. WHILE ON FINAL FOR RUNWAY 25L, APPROX 1 MILE OUT, ACFT IMPACTED A BIRD ON THE RT SIDE OF THE WINDSHIELD. DAMAGE TO THE WINDSHIELD WAS DISCOVERED ON POST FLIGHT INSPECTION. NO OTHER DAMAGE WAS DISCOVERED. MX IN PROCESS OF REPLACING THE WINDSHIELD.
INSP GEG / LEVEL 2 CORROSION: DURING INSPECTION, FOUND LEFT INBOARD CARGO SEAT TRACK CORRODED BEYOND SERVICEABLE LIMITS. DAMAGE MOSTLY FOUND BETWEEN FUSELAGE STATION 282 AND 332. REMOVED AND REPLACED SEAT TRACK USING FACTORY REPLACEMENT PART.
AIR TURNBACK, FUEL RESERVOIR LOW LIGHT AFTER TAKEOFF FROM DEPARTURE. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO DEPARTURE WITHOUT INCIDENT. NO EMERGENCY DECLARED. REMOVED AND REPLACE FUEL RESERVOIR LOW LEVEL FLOAT SWITCH. OPS CHECK GOOD. LEAK CHECK GOOD.
WING STRINGER WAS FOUND CRACKED DURING A ROUTINE INSPECTION. CAUSE OF STRINGER FAILURE UNKNOWN. TWELVE OTHER, P/N 2622000-64, STRINGERS HAVE BEEN FOUND CRACKED ON 208 AND 208B AIRCRAFT WITH PART TT RANGING FROM 596 TO 6511 HOURS.
