SO SPOKE WITH MCC AND IT WAS DECIDED TO REPLACE IT. REPLACED SWITCH IAW CE-700 AMM 33-50-10 PERFORMED SUCCESSFUL OPERATIONAL CHECK AND RESTORED AIRCRAFT TO ORIGINAL CONDITION

CABIN EMERG LIGHT: PREFLIGHT CHECK OF THE EMER LTS REVEALED AN INCONSITENCY WITH SWITCH PLACEMENT. FOLLOWING A 2.5 HOUR FLIGHT AND CREW SWAP, THE LIGHTS ILLUMINATE NORMALLY IN ARM WITH BATT SWITCHES OFF AND SUBSEQUENTLY IN THE ON POSITION. HOWEVER, WHEN PLACED INTO ON FROM THE OFF POSITION, THE CABIN EMERGENCY LIGHTS FAILED TO ILLUMINATE. CORRECTIVE ACTION; REPLACED EMERGENCY BATTERY IAW CE-700 AMM 33-50-05. OPS CHECK GOOD.

AFTER LEAVING ICING CONDITIONS, SELECTED ANT-ICE OFF, WHICH LEAD TO AN AMBER CAS, L WING ANTI -ICE OVERHEAT, FOLLOWED SHORTLY AFTER BY A RED CAS L WING HOT. FOLLOWED QRH, REDUCED LEFT ENGINE TO IDLE, LIGHT EXTINGUISHED AFTER ABIUT 30 SCONDS. AT THIS POINT WE WERE NO LONGER IN ICING CONDITIONS, AND NO FURTHER INDICATIONS OF THE FAULT WERE SEEN UNTIL AFTER LANDING WHEN WE GOT AN AMBER AUTO TEST FAIL/BLEED LEAK FAIL. CORRECTIVE ACTION; REPLACED LH WING A/I PRSOV AND PERFORMED SATISFACTORY OPS CHECK AT THIS TIME. REF, CE-700 AMM 30-10-05.

CORRECTIVE ACTION: REMOVED NOSE UPLOCK SWITCH PN S3177-1 AND INSTALLED NEW SWITCH. ADJUSTED SWITCH AND PERFORMED OPERATIONAL LANDING GEAR CHECK, SWITCH IS WITHIN LIMITS. AFTER A WHILE MCC CALLED BACK AND WANTS THE 2 AFT EMER BATTS REPLACED. PARTS ARE DUE IN AT 2230. TECH WILL REMAIN ON SITE TO WAIT FOR BATTS. RETRIEVED BATTERY PACKS AND VERIFIED PAPERWORK. REMOVED AFT LH EMER BATTERY PACK PN CBS28-1 SN 006824 DUE TO INTERNAL FAILURE. INSTALLED REPAIRED BATTERY PACK PN CBS28-1 SN 000168. REMOVED AFT RH EMER BATTERY PACK PN CBS28-1 SN 006827 DUE TO INTERNAL FAILURE. INSTALLED REPAIRED BATTERY PACK PN CBS28-1 SN 3240M. POWERED UP A/C AND CHARGED BATTERY PACKS AS REQUIRED. PERFORMED OPS CHECKS, CHECKS GOOD. WORK DONE IAW CE700 MM 33- 50-05 AND 33-50-00. CLOSED UP ACCESS AND RESTORED A/C TO ORIGINAL CONFIG.

PERFORMED SERVERAL OPERATION OF THE CLOSING AND OPENING OF THE MAIN OF THE MED CLOSING FROM THE OUTSIDE AND INSIDE AS WELL. MED HANDLES CLOSE WITH NO ISSUES OF STIFFNESS. LUBRICATED MED DOOR HANDLE AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS PROVES SATISFACTORY AT THIS TIME, DOOR CLOSES AND OPENS WITH MINIMAL FORCE REQUIRED AS INTENDED, WORK DONE IAW CE700 AMM 52-10-00 NO DEFECTS NOTED.

AFTER TAKEOFF AND SELECTING THE LANDING GEAR HANDLE UP, SEVERAL LOUD BANGING NOISES WERE HEARD. MAIN GEAR INDICATIONS WERE UP, NOSE GEAR DOWN, FOLLOWED BY GEAR MISCOMPARE AND GEAR DOOR CAS MESSAGES. AFTER 20-30 SECONDS, NOSE GEAR INDICATION WAS ALSO UP, BUT ALL THREE GEAR INDICATIONS WERE AMBER. WHEN RETURNING TO LAND AND SELECTING GEAR HANDLE DOWN, GEAR REMAINED UP AND GEAR CONTROL FAULT CAS MESSAGE APPEARED. RAN LANDING GEAR WILL NOT EXTEND CHECKLIST AND EXTENDED THE GEAR WITH EMER RELEASE. SIGN OFF. RESET GEAR MANUAL DROP HANDLE AND ACTUATED GEAR MULTIPLE TIMES WHILE MANIPULATING THE LT INNER GEAR DOOR, NO FAULTS NOTED. RERIGGED THE INNERDOOR UP PROXIMITY SWITCHES, IAW THE CESSNA 700 MM CHAPTER 32-32-00 AND 32-60-20. ACCESSED AND REMOVED LT MLG INBOARD DOOR PROX SWITCH UY023. INSTALLED AND RIGGED NEW PROX SWITCH ASSEMBLY. VERIFIED THE THREE OTHER MLG DOOR PROX SWITCHES WERE RIGGED WITHIN SPECS. PERFORMED OPS CHECK OF MLG AND MLG OPS CHECK GOOD. WORK PERFORMED IAW 700 M.M. CHAPTER 32-60-30.

PERFORMED GROUND RUN AND LT ENGINE OPERATIONALLY CHECKED GOOD. ALSO CHECKED RT ENGINE RIGGING AND FOUND TO BE GOOD. RT ENGINE OPERATIONALLY CHECKED GOOD ON ENGINE RUN.

DURING ROUTINE INSP OF GEAR CYCLE AND UPLOCK CHECKS NOTICED THAT RT MAIN GEAR HAD PROBLEMS IN UP AND LOCKED POSITION. UPON FURTHER INSP FOUND (PN 6521641-2) UPLOCK HOOK ATTACH BRACKET CRACKED 2.25 INCHES, STARTING FROM LOWER EDGE OF BACKET MOVING IN VERTICAL DIRECTION UPWARD THRU 3 OF 4 ATTACH FASTENERS(HI-LOCKS). BRACKET IS MOUNTED ON VERTICAL STRINGER ON REAR FACE OF FORWARD SPAR. SINCE CRACK STARTS FROM BOTTOM AND MOVE UPWARD IT APPEARS THAT GEAR WAS HITTING IT ON UPWARD STROKE DURING RETRACTION AND NOT CAUSED BY WEIGHT OF GEAR RESTING IN THE HOOK WHEN UP AND STOWED. REMOVED MAIN GEAR ACTUATOR AND BROKEN BRACKET AND SENT TO MFG FOR EVALUATION, AWAITING RESULTS.
