RESOLUTION: PERFORMED EMERGENCY LIGHTING -ADJUSTMENT/TEST, SYSTEM WORK SATISFACTORY WITH NO DEFECT NOTED WORK IN REF. CE-700 AMM 33-50-00.
FIRST OFFICER COCKPIT WINDOW: DURING PREFLIGHT, WE NOTICED THE COPILOT SIDE WINDOW IS SHATTERED. ALSO NOTED THERE ARE SMALL GLASS SLIVERS IN THE COPILOT (RIGHT) SEAT. REMOVED OLD SHATTERED FIRST OFFICER COCKPIT WINDOW PN: 9914809·2 SN:19086H8106 AND INSTALLED CUSTOMER SUPPLIED NEW COCKPIT SIDE WINDOW PN: 9914809·2 SN: 21340H2711. LEAK CHECK AND OPS CHECK GOOD. ALL MX DONE IN REF TO CE-700 AMM 56-10-10. NOT FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED. TORQUE GAUGE USED TL-103523 DUE 10/23
EMERGENCY LIGHTS WILL NOT ILLUMINATE DURING PREFLIGHT SELECTION OF ARM [PREFLIGHT]. GAINED ACCESS TO THE A/C, PERFORMED EMERGENCY LIGHTS 5 G SWITCH OPERATIONAL CHECK. OPS CHECK GOOD AT THIS TIME, NO DEFECTS NOTED. PERFORMED THE EMERGENCY LIGHTING BATTERY PACK OPERATIONAL CHECK, NO DEFECTS NOTED, OPS CHECK GOOD AT THIS TIME. ALL WORK PERFORMED I/A/W CE-700 AMM 33-50-00. AS PER MAINTENANCE MANUAL, WHEN EMERGENCY LIGHTS ARE SELECTED TO ARMED, THEY WILL NOT BE TURNED ON UNLESS LOSS OF ELECTRICAL POWER OR THE INERTIA SWITCH IS ACTUATED. THIS IS CONSIDERED AS NORMAL OPERATION. SPOKE WITH MCC AND ADVISED ON FINDINGS- THEY AGREED ON THE SYSTEM OPERATING AS REOUIRED.
EMERGENCY LIGHTING: THE EMERGENCY BATTERY PACK THAT POWERS INTERIOR EMERGENCY LIGHTS AND THE RIGHT WING INSPECTION LIGHTS DOES NOT HOLD POWER OVERNIGHT.
EMERGENCY LIGHTING: UPON TESTING EMERGENCY LIGHT SYSTEM , LIGHTS FLASHED MOMENTARILY AND THEN ALL EMERGENCY LIGHTING EXTINGUISHED. ARRIVED AT AIRCRAFT AND PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK OF EMERGENCY LIGHTS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. RAN APU FOR 1 HOUR WITH EMERGENCY SWITCH ON ARM FOR EMERGENCY BATTERIES TO CHARGE .PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK OF EMERGENCY LIGHTS AGAIN FOR 10 MINS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. CONNECTED GPU TO AIRCRAFT WITH EMERGENCY LIGHTS SWITCH ON ARM POSILLON TO ENSURE EMEGENCY BATTERY REACH FULL CHARGE. ALL WORK PERFORMED IAW CE-700 AMM 33-50-00
MAIN DOOR: MAIN CABIN DOOR IS VERY DIFFICULT TO OPEN AND CLOSE FROM INSIDE. "CORRECTIVE ACTION" REMOVED THE PAWL PROX SWITCH SC007 PN S2800-1257, NSN AND INSTALLED NEW PROX SWITCH (SC007), PN S2800-1257, NSN. OPS CHECKS GOOD
UNABLE TO EXTINGUISH AMBER CABIN DOOR OPEN CAS MESSAGE. DOOR HANDLE STIFF TO OPERATE AND DOES NOT FEEL FULLY SEATED WHEN CLOSED. THE AUDABLE SOUND OF THE LOCKING PINS LATCHING DOES NOT OCCUR. THE 6 VISUAL INDICATORS SHOW BOLTS IN PLACE. REPLACED CABIN DOOR PCB NZ103 WITH A CUSTOMER SUPPLIED NEW PART I/NW CE-700 AMM 45-00-00 AND WIRING MANUAL 52-00-01. REMOVED AND REPLACED CABIN DOOR THRESHOLD WIRE HARNESS ASSEMBLY WITH A CUSTOMER SUPPLIED NEW PART I/NW CE700 AMM 52-10-00. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK, IAW CE700 MM 24-60-25-5, OPERATIONAL CHECK SATISFACTORY, NO FAULTS PRESENT.
WHILE LEVELING OFF AT 6000 FEET, LT ENG BEGAN TO VIBRATE, N1 BEGAN TO DECREASE, ITT INCREASED TO APPROXIMATELY 650 DEGREES. ITT DECREASED WITH POWER LEVER RETRACTION & VIBRATION BECAME NOMINAL AT APPROXIMATELY 35% N1. TROUBLE SHOT & REPLACED LT BOV TORQUE MOTOR IAW MM CHAP 75-30-01. ENG OPERATIONS CHECKED GOOD.
AFTER TAKEOFF, GEAR DID NOT RETRACT. THREE GREEN GEAR LIGHTS, ONE RED GEAR UNSAFE LIGHT, ANTI-SKID LIGHT AND THE BRAKE LOW PRESSURE LIGHT, REMAIN ILLUMINATED FOR ABOUT FIVE MINUTES, RAN ABNORMAL CHECKLIST. AFTER THE GEAR HANDLE WAS SELECTED DOWN, EVERYTHING NORMAL. TROUBLESHOT SYSTEM, RANG OUT WIRING FROM LANDING GEAR CONTROL PCB TO MLG CONTROL VALVE, WITH GEAR HANDLE UP & BOTH SQUAT SWITCHES IN AIR, HAVE POWER TO LANDING GEAR CONTROL VALVE. DUPLICATED PROBLEM. RANG OUT SQUAT SWITCHES. BOTH SQUAT SWITCHES CONTINUITY CHECKED GOOD. JACKED AIRCRAFT, NOTICED RT OLEO GRABBING AND POPPING WHILE AIRCRAFT WAS COMING OFF GROUND. FOUND OLEO TO BE UNDERSERVICED AND LEAKING FLUID CAUSING IT TO NOT FULLY EXTEND. REMOVED RT MLG OLEO ASSEMBLY. INSTALLED STRUT IAW CMM 32-10-04.
DURING A SCHEDULED INSPECTION, FOUND RT WING TO FUSELAGE FAIRING DRAG ANGLE THAT ATTACHES TO THE WING, WAS CRACKED AT THREE FASTENER LOCATIONS.
DURING A SCHEDULED INSPECTION, FOUND THE LT WING TO FUSELAGE FAIRING DRAG ANGLE THAT ATTACHES TO THE WING, WAS CRACKED A 3 FASTENER LOCATIONS.
WHILE PREFORMING THE INSPECTION FOR SL560-28-09, FOUND FITTING CHAFED ON FUEL LINE. AFTER REMOVAL OF THE FUEL LINE ASSY, FOUND THAT THE FITTING CLAMP ANTI-ROTATION STRAPS HAD CUT INTO THE FITTING BELL MOUTH BEYOND THE ALLOWABLE LIMITS.
WHEN ACCOMPLISHING SL560-28-09, FOUND FUEL LINE CHAFED ON FUEL BAY STRUCTURE IN THE LT WING, IT WAS MORE THAN 60 PERCENT CHAFED THROUGH. THE WING STRUCTURE SHOWS NO DAMAGE.
ON FINAL APPROACH, MLG SELECTED DOWN. DID NOT HEAR SOUNDS ASSOCIATED WITH MLG DOWN. RED MLG UNSAFE LIGHT ILLUMINATED ONLY. AFTER 20 SECONDS, NLG SHOWED DOWN & LOCKED. MISSED APPROACH & RETRACTED MLG HANDLE. RECYCLED MLG WITH NO MLG DOWN INDICATIONS. HYD ANNUNCIATOR FLASHED. SELECTED HANDLE UP. RAN CHECKLIST. PULLED MLG CIRCUIT BREAKER. GEAR DID NOT COME DOWN WITH TEE HANDLE PULLED & YAWING OF ACFT. WHEN PNEUMATIC 'DONUT' PULLED ALL MLG DOWN & LOCKED WITH 3 GREEN ANNUNCIATORS. LANDED NORMAL. FOUND LANDING GEAR CONTROL HANDLE CONNECTOR P160 LOOSE. CLEANED & RECONNECT P160 & SWING GEAR. PERFORMED GEAR OPS CHECKS & FOUND NORMAL IAW MM 32-01-00 & WD 32-30-01.
WHILE ACFT WAS IN A SCHEDULED INSP, DISCOVERED THE FWD Z ANGLE THAT THE UPLOCK IS ATTACHED TO WAS CRACKED. THE CRACKS WERE LOCATED IN THE OTBD ENDS OF THE BEND RADIUS. 1 WAS .50 INCH AND THE OTHER WAS .30 INCH.
AFTER DEPARTURE, RED GEAR UNLOCKED LIGHT FAILED TO EXTINGUISH AFTER GEAR HANDLE WAS SELECTED IN THE UP POSITION. HYD SYS PRESSURE LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED. 3 GREEN POSITION LIGHT INDICATORS EXTINGUISHED. UPON SELECTION OF THE GEAR HANDLE TO THE DOWN POSITION ALL INDICATIONS RETURNED TO NORMAL. FOUND NLG GROUND MODULE GROUND WIRE BROKEN. REPAIRED WIRE IAW ENCORE WDM 20-10-01. NUMEROUS OPS CHECK GOOD WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED.
LT SEAT PILOTS PFD - BLANKED OUT AT APPROX 50 KTS ON TAKEOFF ROLL - (ABORTED TAKE OFF). PFD CAME BACK ON DURING ROLLOUT OF ABORT AND WORKED AGAIN UNTIL SHUTDOWN.
WHEN MLG SELECTED DOWN FOR LANDING , LT MLG INDICATOR LIGHT DID NOT ILLUMINATE. NO MLG UNSAFE INDICATION NOTED. PERFORMED MLG WILL NOT EXTEND CHECKLIST. LT & RT LOW HYD FLOW LIGHTS BLINKED INTERMITTENTLY AFTER MLG BLOWN DOWN. MLG LIGHT REMAINED OFF. PERFORMED ROTARY TEST PRIOR TO EMER CHECKLIST & LIGHT DID NOT ILLUMINATE. FOUND LT MLG INDICATOR BULB INOP, RELAMPED PER MM 33-13-01. OPS CKS GOOD. SERVICED BLOW DOWN BOTTLE PER MM 12-13-00. WHILE PERFORMING MLG FUNCTIONAL CHECK FOUND MLG DUMP VALVE LEAKING. REPLACED DUMP VALVE PER MM 32-31-06. PERFORMED MLG CHECK PER MM 32-30-00. OPS AND LEAK CHECKS GOOD.
PRESSURIZATION WORKED NORMALLY UP TO FL 310 BETWEEN FL 310 AND FL 320 THE CABIN STARTED TO RAPIDLY CLIMB AT A RATE OF 5500 FPM. THE CABIN BEFORE THE CLIMB WAS AROUND 4000 FT BEFORE THE RAPID CLIMB. THE 10000 FT ALTITUDE ANNUNCIATOR AND MASTER WARNING CAME ON AND AN EMERGENCY DESCENT WAS STARTED. THE CABIN CLIMBED TO 14000 FT. REPLACED PRIMARY OUTFLOW VALVE WITH NEW IAW MODEL 560 MM. 21-32-00. OPERATIONAL CHECK GOOD
DURING A PHASE INSPECTION FOUND LT ENGINE INLET DUCT ASSY CRACKED. CRACKS WERE FOUND ON THE AFT PORTION OF THE INLET DUCT ASSY THROAT. THIS UNIT HAD TO BE RETURNED TO THE MFG FOR REPAIR. AN SCR WAS SUBMITTED TO MFG UNDER NR 308858.
DURING A PHASE INSPECTION FOUND RT ENGINE INLET DUCT ASSY CRACKED. CRACKS WERE FOUND ON THE AFT PORTION OF THE INLET DUCT ASSY THROAT. THIS UNIT HAD TO BE RETURNED TO THE MFG FOR REPAIR. AN SCR WAS SUBMITTED TO MFG UNDER NR 308873.
DURING A MAINTENANCE TAXI CHECK NOTICED SHIMMY FROM NOSE GEAR. UPON DISASSEMBLY FOUND FORK LOOSE ON NOSE GEAR PISTON, THIS SHOULD BE A PRESS FIT FROM THE FACTORY. SENT UNIT RELIABILITY GROUP FOR EVALUATION. A SCR HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO MFG UNDER NR 308107.
LEFT ENGINE FAILURE ON DESCENT THROUGH 17,000 FT. ENGINE POWER 40% N1 NOTICED ENGINE ROLLBACK WITH NO ABNORMAL INDICATIONS. NO FUEL OR OIL BYPASS LIGHTS ON, TRANSFERRED FUEL FROM LEFT TO RIGHT THEN NOTICED BOTH FUEL PUMP LIGHTS ON. BOTH FUEL PUMP SWITCHES IN NORMAL POSITION. LANDED WITH 500 LBS IMBALANCE. (MCC NOTE: CLEAR SKIES, NO ICING CONDITIONS, NO A-I SELECTED ON. ATTEMPTED TO RESTART, NO SUCCESS, NO FUEL FLOW. ACFT WAS FUELED IN MEM BEFORE TAKEOFF AT WILSON AIR, APPROX 260 GALLONS, AND FUEL QTY AT TIME OF IFSD WAS APPROX 1200 PER SIDE.) REMOVED BOTH ACFT FUEL FILTERS AND SENT FOR ANALYSIS. INSTALLED NEW FUEL FILTERS. REMOVED AND REPLACED FUEL CONTROL UNIT. FUEL FLOW DIVIDER AND FUEL FLOWS TRANS
WHILE DESCENDING THROUGH FL 310 WITH THE RIGHT POWER LEVER AT FLIGHT IDLE, THE BOOST PUMP CAME ON AND OIL PRESSURE DROPPED TO ZERO, GENERATOR WENT OFF-LINE. THE RIGHT ENGINE FLAMED OUT, IT THEN AUTO RELIT AT FL 290. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE RT ENGINE IAW CESSNA 560 MM CHAPTER 71-01-05. PERFORMED ENGINE 5 POINT GROUND RUN, OPS AND LEAK CHECK GOOD
RIGHT ENGINE FLAMED OUT DURING DESCENT (THROUGH 22000) PERFORMED RESTART WITHOUT EVENT. ENGINE OPERATION WAS NORMAL THROUGH THE REST OF FLIGHT, AIRCRAFT CONTINUED TO DESTINATION. SUMPTED RT FUEL TANK TO CHECK FOR WATER OR CONTAMINATION, SYSTEM CHECKED GOOD, INSPECTED FUEL FILTER AND CHECKED GOOD. REPLACED RT ENGINE FUEL FILTER IAW 560 MM. TROUBLESHOT TO BAD FUEL CONTROL UNIT, REMOVED AND REPLACED RT ENGINE FCU IAW P&WC MM CHAPTER 73-20-01, OPS AND LEAK CHECK GOOD.
