DURING COMPLETION OF NDT TASK ATR-A-53-57-XX-03001-350A-A, FOUND SUBSURFACE CRACK IN HOLE #8 AS IDENTIFIED IN FIGURE ICN-ATR-A-535700-A-FB429-06PSI-A-001-1 (SHEET 1), THIS IS AT STATION 12791/FR27 ON THE LH SIDE CRACK EXTENDS AFT FROM THE CENTER OF THE HOLE APPROXIMATELY .5 INCHES AS IDENTIFIED BY THE EDDY CURRENT INSPECTION THE LEFT FRAME 27, BOLT AT HOLE 8 IS TEMPORARILY REINSTALLED UNTIL WE HAVE A RESOLUTION.
WITH EXTERNAL POWER APPLIED, CREW NOTICED BURNING SMELL IN COCKPIT. REPLACED RH RECIRC FAN. OPS CHECK GOOD.
ON TAXI TO RAMP IT WAS OBSERVED THE CAPTAINS RIGHT SIDE BRAKE WAS INEFFECTIVE. REPLACED CAPTAINS BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER. OPS CHECK GOOD. NO LEAKS NOTED.
ON INITIAL CLIMB OUT, THE FLIGHT CREW EXPERIENCED A PITCH TRIM FAILURE IN ICING CONDITIONS. THE FLIGHT CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND RETURNED TO THE FIELD WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAC MAINTENANCE INSPECTED FLIGHT CONTROLS AND REPLACED BOTH ELEVATOR TRIM ACTUATORS WITH A SUCCESSFUL OPS CHECK.
TRIM TAB CONTROL ROD EXFOLIATED.
CORROSION FOUND ON LT AILERON INBD TEE FITTING. THE FITTING WAS REPLACED. REPLACED INBD T-PICK UP FITTING, LT AILERON IAW SRM 512501-02-001-A01, 512503-02-001-A01.
CORROSION FOUND ON RT INBD FLAP, OTBD RIB. REPLACED RIB. R & R RIB IAW SRM 51-52-10, 51-25-03, AND 51-25-04.
AFTER ENGINE START, AFTER CONDITION LEVERS MOVED TO MAX RPM, RECEIVED A MASTER WARNING FOR ELECTIC SMOKE. RELOCATED THE ACFT SO IT WAS FACING INTO THE WIND AND NO WIND BLOWING UP THE TAIL PIPES OF THE ENGINES. THE ENGINES WERE RUN AND ALL SYSTEMS WERE NORMAL NO FAULTS OR SMOKE WARNING FOUND.
NR 1 ENGINE TORQUE DROPPED TO 0 PERCENT IN FLIGHT THE ACFT YAWED & ENGINE NOISE DROPPED. TROUBLESHOTING SYSTEM, FOUND CONNECTOR ON NR 1 MFCU, AFU AND EEC HAD OIL CONTAMINATION. CONNECTORS WERE CLEANED IAW MM 20-24-06. A POWER ASSURANCE RUN WAS ACCOMPLISHED IAW JIC 72-00-00 EDU 10010. ALL PARAMETERS CHECKED NORMAL AND AIRCRAFT RETURN TO SERVICE.
AFTER COMPLETION OF FLIGHT, F/O`S LEFT BRAKE BECAME INOPERATIVE. AFTER TROUBLESHOOTING, REPLACED F/O`S BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER IAW JIC 32-42-13, BRAKES BLED IAW JIC 32-42-00, CHECKED GOOD AND ACFT RETURN TO SERVICE.
DURING INSPECTION, FOUND AFT CARGO DOOR FWD UPPER GAS STRUT MOUNT, PN WASM-01A BENT. REPAIRED IAW 72R47000-03.
LT WING UPPER REMOVABLE PANEL, EXTERNAL CORROSION AT LEVEL OF 522CT ACCESS DOOR HOUSING. MAJOR REPAIR.
FOUND CORROSION ON CREASE BEAM WEB OUT OF LIMITS. REPLACED WEB IAW SRM.
ON LANDING, THE RIGHT CO-PILOTS TOE BRAKE WAS INEFFECTIVE. TROUBLESHOT THE CO-PILOTS RIGHT BRAKE SYSTEM, BLED THE SYSTEM IAW JIC 32-42-00 BLD 10000 THE BRAKE SYSTEM CHECKED GOOD IAW JIC 32-42-00 OPS 10000.
