DURING CLIMB OUT, AT ABOUT 1400 FT AGL, RIGHT WING OVERHEAT ANNUNCIATOR LIGHT CAME ON STEADY. CREW COMPLETED THE MEMORY ITEMS FOR THAT ANNUNCIATION AND THE LIGHT REMAINED ON STEADY. ONCE AIRCRAFT REACHED 1500 FT AGL, CREW CONSULTED QRH AND INFORMED ATC REGARDING THE ISSUE AND REQUESTING TO MAINTAIN CLOSE BY THE AIRPORT. AFTER CREW COMPLIED WITH QRH CHECKLIST, THE ANNUNCIATOR LIGHT REMAINED ON, THE EFFECTED ENGINE MUST BE SHUT DOWN. CREW COMPLETED THE INFLIGHT ENGINE SHUT DOWN AND SECURED THE GOOD ENGINE PER QRH AND REQUESTED RETURNING TO DEPARTURE WITH SINGLE ENGINE OPERATION. AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE RT WHEEL WELL AND UNDER RT CABIN FLOOR FOR ALL RELATED COMPONENTS AND PLUMING AND FOUND NO SIGNS OF OVERHEAT. REMOVED AND REPLACED ANNUNCIATOR ASSEMBLY AS A PRECAUTION IAW WIRING DIAGRAM MANUAL 26-10-02. SYSTEM FUNCTIONED TESTED GOOD.
THE PILOT REPORTED IN CRUISE FLIGHT FROM KDFW EN ROUTE TO KBWD THE LT ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE STARTED TO REDLINE. THE PILOT REDUCED POWER TO NO EFFECT AND IMMEDIATELY PERFORMED EMERGENCY PROCEDURES FROM THE QRH CHECKLIST. AS PER THE QRH, THE PILOT PERFORMED AN IN-FLIGHT SHUT DOWN OF THE LT ENGINE AND DECLARED AN EMERGENCY. AIRCRAFT RETURN TO KDFW AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE PERFORMED AN INSPECTION OF THE LT ENGINE AND DISCOVERED THE LT ENGINE EXHAUST DUCT CRACKED. REMOVED AND INSTALLED SERVICEABLE LT ENGINE EXHAUST DUCT, PART NUMBER 27-62080-025. MAINTENANCE COMPLIED WITH GROUND RUNS AND LEAK CHECK. LT ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE AND EXHAUST WERE NORMAL. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RELEASED AND RETURNED TO SERVICE.
CLIMBING THROUGH 1000 FT, RT WING OVERHEAT ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED. PILOT TURNED OFF THE BLEED AIR, BUT THE LIGHT WOULD NOT EXTINGUISH. SHUTDOWN RT ENGINE, DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MX FOUND THE WING OVERHEAT SENSOR PN 4344-221-23 BAD AND REPLACED IT WITH A NEW ONE.
DURING TAKEOFF ROLL, CAPTAIN NOTICED A LOW TORQUE ON RT ENGINE. CAPTAIN ELECTED TO ABORT TAKEOFF ROLL AND TAXIED TO A RUN-UP AREA TO CHECK THE RT ENGINE'S POWER. DURING RUN-UP, RT ENG DID NOT MAKE CHARTED TORQUE. AS CAPTAIN STARTED TAXIING BACK TO MX, THE RT FIRE ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE CAPTAIN SHUT DOWN THE ENGINE, FIRED ENGINE FIRE EXTINGUISHER. UPON INSPECTION OF RT ENGINE, MAINTENANCE FOUND A PIN HOLE IN THE FUEL NOZZLE MANIFOLD WHICH LEAKED FUEL AND CAUSED THE FIRE. THE FUEL MANIFOLD WAS REPLACED WITH A SERVICEABLE UNIT. A LEAK CHECK PERFORMED AND NO LEAKS NOTED. AN INSP FOR DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE FIRE SHOWED NO DAMAGE. ENGINE FIRE EXTINGUISHER REPLACED. AIRCRAFT RELEASED FOR SERVICE. (X)
FLT 8078 - AFTER TAKEOFF, THE LEFT GEAR DID NOT INDICATE UP AND LOCKED. CYCLED GEAR WITH SAME RESULTS. AIRCRAFT RETURNED AND LANDED AT MIA WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE FOUND DEFECTIVE DOOR ACTUATOR. REMOVED AND REPLACED ACTUATOR IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FAIRCHILD AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE MANUAL. FUNCTIONAL CHECK AND FLIGHT CHECK WAS PERFORMED, NO DEFECTS NOTED. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
AFTER LANDING AT TOCUMEN (MPTO) AND DURING TAXI TO THE RAMP, THE AIRCRAFT STARTED TO VIBRATE AND BOUNCE WHEN EXITING FROM TAXIWAY TO THE RAMP. STOPPED AND SHUT DOWN ENGINES. FLIGHT CREW EXITED THE AIRCRAFT AND OBSERVED SMOKE AND FLAMES COMING FROM THE LEFT BRAKE. THE CREW PUT THE FIRE OUT AND WAITED FOR HELP. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND FOUND THE LEFT OUTBOARD BRAKE ASSEMBLY WAS LOCKED. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE BRAKE ASSEMBLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FAIRCHILD AIRCRAFT INCORPORATED MAINTENANCE MANUAL. FUNCTIONAL CHECK WAS PERFORMED, NO DEFECTS NOTED. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
