MAINTENANCE PERFORMED PROCEDURES FOR MEL 21-26-04, COND 1, EXTRACT VALVE INOPERATIVE. PARTS ORDERED. VENDOR BENCH TEST OF SKIN AIR VALVE WAS NO FAULT FOUND, UNIT WAS FUNCTIONAL TESTED AND RETURNED TO SERVICE.
DEN - AIR TURN BACK - FLT 0543 - AFTER TAKEOFF FROM DEN EN ROUTE TO LAS RECEIVED ECAM MESSAGE FOR "VENT SKIN VALVE FAULT" ACCOMPLISHED ECAM ACTIONS AND RETURNED TO DEN. MAINTENANCE PLACED VENT SKIN AIR VALVE ON MEL 21-26-04 COND. 1, EXTRACT VALVE INOPERATIVE. ON 07/06/2002 IN PHX MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE VENT SKIN AIR VALVE (22HG) IAW AMM 21-26-53-401, OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS GOOD AND THE MEL PLACARD WAS REMOVED. **SUPP** VENDOR BENCH TEST OF SKIN AIR VALVE S/N 2125 COULD NOT CONFIRM FAILURE (NO FAULT FOUND), UNIT RETURNED TO SERVICE.

MAINTENANCE PERFORMED TEMPORARY REPAIR ER 25-5331-02033-ES1 AND AIRCRAFT WAS MAINTENANCE FERRIED BACK TO PHX. IN PHX MAINTENANCE CUTOUT THE DAMAGED AREA OF SKIN FABRICATED A DOUBLER, FILLER, AND SHIM, AND INSTALLED REPAIR IAW SRM 53-00-11 FIG. 209.
EMERGENCY DECLARED, ECAM SHOWS YELLOW HYDRAULIC SYS LOW LEVEL. FOUND NR 2 ENGINE HYD PRESS SWITCH LEAKING. REMOVED AND REPLACED PRESSURE SWITCH O-RING. LEAK AND OPS CK GOOD, RESERVICED 3 GAL SKYDROL.
