DURING GROUND HANDLING WITH APU AND ENGINES RUNNING, THE CREW NOTICED AN ELECTRICAL SMELL IN THE CABIN AND COCKPIT. MAINTENANCE DISCOVERED THE PILOTS ADVISORY DISPLAY PANEL TO BE THE SOURCE OF THE ODORS. THE DISPLAY PANEL WAS PLACED ON THE MEL LIST AND THE AIRCRAFT RELEASED FOR FURTHER FLIGHT. THE DISPLAY PANEL WAS SUBSEQUENTLY CHANGED AND OPS CHECKED GOOD. THE AIRCRAFT WAS THEN RELEASED FOR SERVICE.
DURING DESCENT A BURNING ODOR WAS DETECTED IN THE COCKPIT. UPON INVESTIGATION, THE L1 CONNECTOR ON THE CO-PILOTS WINDSHIELD WAS FOUND TO BE BURNT. THE WINDSHIELD WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED AND OPS CHECKED GOOD. AIRCRAFT WAS THEN RELEASED FOR SERVICE.
AN ODOR WAS DETECTED WHEN THE BLEED SYSTEM DUCT TEMP EXCEEDS 20C. THE APU AND ENGINE BLEEDS WERE RUN ON THE GROUND AND ODOR DISSIPATED. SUSPECT RESIDUAL DE-ICE FLUID CONTAMINATION OF APU DURING MORNING DE-ICEING OF AIRCRAFT. AIRCRAFT WAS RELEASED FOR SERVICE WITH NO FURTHER DIFFICULTIES REPORTED.

AIRCRAFT LANDED NORMALLY AND TAXIED TO THE GATE WITH EMERGENCY VEHICLES FOLLOWING. PILOTS REPORTED LOSS OF NOSE WHEEL STEERING AND OUTBOARD SPOILERS. FLIGHT NR 3802 REPORTED A STRONG ODOR EMIITING FROM THE ACM. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE ACM. OPERATIONAL CHECKS GOOD. SYSTEM RETURNED TO SERVICE.
FLIGHT 3807 PILOT REPORTED THE NR 1 SMOKE WARNING TEST FOR THE BAGGAGE COMPARTMENT UNIT WOULD NOT TEST. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE NR 1 SMOKE DETECTOR AND OPERATIONAL CHECKED THE SYSTEM. ALL CHECKS GOOD. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
FLIGHT HAD TO SHUTDOWN THE NR 2 ENGINE DUE TO THE NR 2 PROP OVERSPEEDING THEN AUTOFEATHERING ON TAKEOFF CLIMB. IT WAS REPORTED AS THE TORQUE BEING 120 FOR 5 SECONDS AND THE PROP RPM WAS 1234 FOR 3 TO 4 SECONDS. PROP ASSEMBLY WAS REMOVED FOR AN OVERTORQUE INSPECTION. MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOT SYSTEMS AND REMOVED AND REPLACED THE NR 2 PCU (PROPELLER CONTROL UNIT). ALL REQUIRED SYSTEM CHECKS WERE GOOD. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
FLIGHT 3847 REPORTED HAVING NR 1 HYDRAULIC CAUTION LIGHT FLICKERING DURING DESCENT INTO SYR. ISOLATION VALVE ACTIVATED. THERE WAS NO DISRUPTION TO HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS REMAINDER OF THE FLIGHT. MAINTENANCE FOUND A NR 6 HYDRAULIC LINE CHAFED THROUGH UNDER PANEL 419AT. DAMAGED LINE WAS REMOVED AND A TEMPORARY FLEX LINE WAS INSTALLED. AIRCRAFT WAS GROUND RUN, ALL SYSTEMS AND LEAK CHECKS WERE GOOD. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
WHILE IN MAINTENANCE IT WAS FOUND THAT THE FRONT TWO EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHTS DID NOT OPERATE DURING SYSTEM TEST. MAINTENACE FOUND BATTERY AT POSITION 500 AT FAULT. BATTERY REPLACED AND SYSTEM OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS GOOD.
FLIGHT 3761 FROM ROCHESTER TO LGA, HAD TO RETURN TO FIELD DUE TO THE LANDING GEAR INOP LIGHT ILLUMINATING UPON GEAR UP SELECTION DURING CLIMBOUT. GEAR WAS EXTENDED MANUALLY AND AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE REPLACED RELAYS 3261-K5, K6, K8, K11 AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE ALL GOOD. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.

BDL-FLT3871, DURING CRUISE FLIGHT THE NR 1 ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE WAS ERRATIC, TEMPERATURE PEGGED AT 150 DEGREES CELSIUS FOR 60 SECONDS. CREW SECURED NR 1 ENGINE AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPAIRED A BROKEN WIRE AT THE TEMP BULB ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR. GROUND RUN SATISFACTORY.
