NORMAL BRAKING UNRESPONSIVE ON BOTH CAPT SIDE AND F/O SIDE. REPLACEMENT OF THE HYDRAULIC METERING VALVE (6027GG) IAW TASK ATR-A-32-42-50-02001-520A-A/720A-A. LEAK CHECK GOOD AND OPS CHECK GOOD
DURING PREFLIGHT OF FLIGHT 7500 MYR-CAE WITH AIRCRAFT N810FX, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE F/O OXYGEN MASK WAS LEAKING. MAC MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOT THE ISSUE TO THE OXYGEN LINE.
AFTER TAKEOFF, LEAVING MAX RPM, RT ENGINE BEGAN SURGING. THE FLIGHT CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND RETURNED TO GSP UNEVENTFULLY. CLEANED CANNON PLUG CONNECTIONS ON RT ENGINE ECU. PERFORMED ENGINE RUN. UNABLE TO REPLICATE ENGINE SURGING. NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
CAPT'S O2 MASK FAILS PREFLIGHT CHECK IN 100% MODE. MASK WILL NOT PRSSURIZE. REMOVED AND REPLACED CAPT'S O2 MASK BOX. LEAK AND OPS CHECKED GOOD.
DURING POST FLIGHT INSPECTION, FOUND EMERGENCY BRAKE DIFFICULT TO ENGAGE AND GRINDING. REMOVED AND REPLACED SPRING LOADED PIN ROLLER ON EMERGENCY BRAKE. OPS CHECKED GOOD.

AIRCRAFT HAD DAMAGE ON THE CARGO DOOR PAN. THE DAMAGE WAS REPAIRED IAW THE M7 DWG NR 72R47001-03 AND THE ACFT WAS RETURN TO SERVICE.
FOUND DAMAGE ON STRINGER 2R BETWEEN FRAME 21 AND 22 OUT OF LIMITS. REPAIRED DAMAGED STRINGER, IAW SRM.
FOUND WEB, CORRODED OUT OF LIMITS. REPLACED WEB IAW SRM.
FOUND DAMAGE ON STRINGER 1L BETWEEN FRAMES 23 AND 23A OUT OF LIMITS. REPLACED SECTION OF STRINGER, IAW SRM.
CORROSION ON STRINGER 20R BETWEEN FRAMES 32 AND 33. REPLACED SECTION OF STRINGER IAW INSTRUCTION DT/S-124/14-21175.
RT WING LOWER SKIN INTERNAL CORROSION AT FEEDER PUMP BETWEEN RIBS 4/5 ON LOWER PANEL, PN S57112378-200. BLENDED CORROSION IAW SRI DT/S-7009/13-21067 IDENTIFIED AS MAJOR REPAIR, FINAL APPROVAL IS ATR STRUCTURAL REPAIR APPROVAL SHEET DT/S-7009/13.

THE RIGHT LANDING GEAR ASSEMBLY IS GOING TO BE SENT TO AN OVERHAUL FACILITY. THE FULL RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR P/N IS D2318900047161820.
DISCOVERED A BASE METAL CHANGE THAT WAS OUT OF LIMITS ON LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR AFT PINTLE PIN P/N D61000. THIS WAS DESCOVERED DURING AN ATTEMPT TO EXTEND THE TBO FOR THE LANDING GEAR COMPONENTS. THE LEFT LANDING GEAR ASSEMBLY IS GOING TO BE SENT TO AN OVERHAUL FACILITY. THE FULL LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR P/N IS D23189000-4-/-/-7-16-/-18-20.
DISCOVERED A BASE METAL CHANGE THAT WAS OUT OF LIMITS ON RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR UNIVERSAL P/N D61036. THIS WAS DISCOVERED DURING AN ATTEMPT TO EXTEND THE TBO FOR THE LANDING GEAR COMPONENTS. THE RIGHT LANDING GEAR ASSEMBLY IS GOING TO BE SENT TO AN OVERHAUL FACILITY. THE FULL RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR P/N IS D2318900047161820.
DURING A INSPECTION THE CARGO DOOR ON AIRCRAFT 810FX WAS FOUND DAMAGED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS FERRIED TO THE MAINTENANCE HANGAR. THE CARGO DOOR WAS REPLACED IAW ART72 JIC 52-31-00 RAI 10000.
WHILE EN ROUTE FROM MEM TO BHM A SMOKE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THERE WAS NO SMOKE PRESENT. THE CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND RETURNED TO MEM. A SMOKE DETECTOR WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED AND THE SYSTEM CHECKED GOOD. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
ON CLIMBOUT OF MEM, THE NR 2 ZONE SMOKE DETECTOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED. NO SMOKE WAS FOUND. THE PILOT DID A PRECAUTIONARY TURNBACK INTO MEM. THE SMOKE DETECTOR WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
FOUND CORROSION INSIDE LEFT FUEL FEEDER TANK BETWEEN RIBS 4 AND 5. THERE WERE SEVERAL AREAS FROM STIFFENER 1 TO STIFFENER 10. CORROSION REMOVED AS PER SRM ATR72 CH 51-21-42. APPLIED TREATMENT TO NEUTRALIZE ANY HEDDIN CORROSION. PERFORMED FINAL BLEND OUT IAW SRM ATR72 CH 51-21-58. CONFIRMED THAT REMAINING THICKNESS OF BLEADED AREAS HAVE NOT CHANGED REF TABLE 1 OF ATR SRI NUMBER DO/TS-4240/08-10776. CONFIRMED THE ABSENCES OF CRACKS BY USE OF HF EDDY CURRENT. RESTORED PROTECTION OF REWORKED AREAS WITH ALODINE 1200 IAW SRM ATR72 CH 51-21-17 AND CH 51-21-28. REFERENCE ANA/E/4462/2008/E-001 AND ANA/E/4462/2008/E-003.
ON TAKEOFF ROLL, THE ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED. ON CROSS CHECK THE F/O`S AIRSPEED INDICATOR INDICATED ZERO. THE TAKEOFF WAS ABORTED AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO THE GATE. THE NR 2 PITOT TUBE WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED THE SYSTEM CHECKED AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
ON TAKEOFF ROLL, THE ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED. ON CROSS CHECK THE F/O`S AIRSPEED INDICATOR INDICATED ZERO. THE TAKEOFF WAS ABORTED AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO THE GATE. THE F/O`S AIRSPEED INDICATOR WAS REPLACED AND OPS CHECK NORMAL. RETURNED AIRCRAFT TO SERVICE.
AFTER ARRIVAL, THE PILOT REPORTED THE CAPT SIDE RIGHT BRAKE INOPERATIVE. THE MASTER CYLINDER WAS REPLACED AND THE BRAKE LOW PRESSURE SIDE WAS BLED.
ON DEPARTURE FROM MEM-BHM FLT 8375, THE NR 1 ENGINE FUEL CLOG LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE PIC DECIDED TO RETURN TO MEM. MAINTENANCE WAS NOT AVAILABLE IN BHM. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE HP FUEL PUMP INLET FILTER. THE SYSTEM TESTED GOOD AND THE A/C WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE AND DEPARTED FOR BHM.
DURING TAXI ON INITIAL BRAKE CHECK, LOW RIGHT BRAKE PRESSURE WAS DISCOVERED ON BOTH THE PIC AND SIC SIDES. THE A/C RETURNED TO THE GATE. THE BRAKE METERING VALVE WAS REPLACED.
DURING INSPECTION, CORROSION WAS FOUND ON FRAME 39 AT BL 0 REQUIRING A FRAME REPAIR. THE CORROSION ORIGINATED FROM A BLUE WATER SPILL AT SOMETIME IN THE PAST. THE LAV WAS PREVIOUSLY REMOVED DURING A RECONFIGURATION OF THE A/C. THIS IS AN ISOLATED CASE AND HAS NOT BEEN FOUND ON OTHER A/C IN OUR FLEET. REPAIR REF: ATR 72 SRM 53-61-40 FIG 110 SHEET 1.
