THE FLIGHT CREW WITH MEDICS (NO PATIENT) RETURNED TO BFI WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. GALVIN FLYING SERVICE WAS CONTACTED TO TROUBLESHOOT THE PROBLEM. DISCOVERED THE ENGINE DRIVEN FUEL PUMP HAD NO OUTPUT.

MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL DETECTED BLEED AIR LEAK IN TAILCONE DURING GROUND OPERATION. TRACED SOURCE TO CENTER MATING SURFACES OF WINDSHIELD ANTI-ICE SHUTOFF VALVE. REPLACED VALVE WITH OVERHAULED UNIT. PROBABLE CAUSE: BLOWN GASKET IN VALVE.
