CRACK HAS BEEN FOUND ON LH WING LOWER SKIN P/N S54310211208 (REF SRM 571421-01-A01 ITEM 1A) AND F/S LOWER CHORD P/N S57112036200 (REF SRM 571210-02-A01 ITEM 1A) AT RIB 10 TENSION BOLT HOLE. HOLE HAS BEEN OVERSIZED BY CUSTOMER TO 11.049MM (0.435â) TO REMOVE ALL DAMAGE. NO OFFSET VALUE HAS BEEN REPORTED. FOR ADDITIONAL DETAILS AND PICTURES, REFER TO SDR_00244960_01_A.
AT TOUCH DOWN, MASTER CAUTION WITH FLT CTL ON CAP, AN OVERSPEED WARNING FOR 5 SECONDS, AND THE ENGINE FIRE WARNING AUDIO CAME OUT AND REMAINED ON WITHOUT ANY VISUAL FIRE MESSAGE. CLEANED CONNECTOR OF THE #1 MFC AND REINSTALLED. OPS CHECK GOOD. NO DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME.
RIGHT BRAKE PEDAL WEAK ON BOTH SIDES. REMOVED AND REPLACED R/H INBOARD AND OUTBOARD BRAKE ASSEMBLIES.
REPORTED EXHAUST SMELL IN COCKPIT. RAN ENGINES FOR 50 MINUTES AND COULD NOT DUPLICATE EXHAUST SMELL IN COCKPIT. REMOVED AND REPLACED #2 PROP HUB ASSEMBLY O-RING WITH SERVICEABLE O-RING. OPS AND LEAK CHECK GOOD.
DURING CLIMB AFTER LANDING GEAR RETRACTION THE MASTER CAUTION ON THE CAP ANNUNCIATED NR 2 DC GENERATOR FAULTED. AFTER CLIMB SEQUENCE COMPLETE PIC PERFORMED RESET. AFTER NR 2 DC GENERATOR CAME ONLINE BOTH MULTI-FUNCTION COMPUTERS (MFC) CYCLED POWER ON AND OFF ACROSS ALL CHANNELS LEADING TO INTERMITTENT POWER FLUCTUATIONS ON THE AIRCRAFT, INCLUDING ALL FLIGHT INSTRUMENTS, ENGINE INSTRUMENTS, AND COCKPIT AND PANEL LIGHTING FOR APPROXIMATELY 90 SECONDS. DECLARED EMERGENCY AND RETURNED TO FIELD WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE IS TROUBLESHOOTING THE PROBLEM. MAINTENANCE REPLACED NR 1 MULTI-FUNCTION COMPUTER (MFC) AND NR 1 AND NR 2 STARTER/GENERATORS. OPERATIONALLY CHECKED GOOD. OPERATIONAL CHECK FLIGHT SATISFACTORY.
RUDDER PEDALS LOCKED (IN NEUTRAL POSITION) ON SHORT FINAL APPROACH. THE MASTER CAUTION FLIGHT CONTROL LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE CENTRALIZED CREW ALERTING SYSTEM (CCAS), AND FLIGHT CONTROL TRAVEL LIMIT UNIT (TLU) FAULT LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE OVERHEAD PANEL. RUDDER TRAVEL LIMIT UNIT LIGHT WAS NOT ILLUMINATED ON THE CENTER CONSOLE. MAINTENANCE FOUND A BAD SWITCH IN RELAY 13CY CAUSING TRAVEL LIMIT UNIT TO REMAIN ENGAGED AT LOW SPEED. RELAY 13CY WAS REPLACED AND SYSTEM OPERATIONALLY CHECKED GOOD ON THE GROUND AND ON A FUNCTIONAL CHECK FLIGHT.
RIGHT INBOARD FLAP CAM GUIDE MOUNT CRACKED BEYOND MANUFACTURER'S ACCEPTABLE LIMITS. REPAIRED IAW AMM JIC 57-52-00RAI 10000.
CORROSION DISCOVERED AT FRAME 33 STRINGER 16L. DAMAGE BEYOND THE ACCEPTABLE LIMITS OF THE MANUFACTURER. REMOVED STRINGER 16L IAW SRM 51-21-42. INSTALLED FABRICATED REPAIR STRINGER IAW SRM 530000-300-825-A01.
INTERIOR CARGO BAY FRAME 23C, STRINGER 16R CORNER BRACKET HAS HEAVY CORROSION. DAMAGE EXCEEDS MANUFACTURER'S ACCEPTABLE LIMITS. REPLACED IAW SRM 51-25-01. FABRICATED IAW SRM 535140-03-A01.
FRAME 28C, STRINGER 17 HAS CORNER BRACKET WITH EXFOLIATION CORROSION. DAMAGE EXCEEDS MANUFACTURER'S ACCEPTABLE LIMITS. REPLACED THE STRINGER CLIP IAW SRM 51-21-42. FABRICATED NEW CLIP IAW SRM 53514012-A01.
AFTER ACFT DEPARTED AND PASSING 18,000 FEET, THE CABIN ALTITUDE BEGAN INCREASING. BY 19000 FEET THE CREW RECEIVED A CONTINUOUS REPETITIVE CHIME MASTER WARNING ALERT. ATTEMPTS TO RECOVER THE PRESSURIZATION WERE UNSUCCESSFUL. THE CREW COMPLETED THEIR QRH PROCEDURES. DECLARED AN EMER & DID AN AIR TURN BACK. THE ACFT MADE AN UNEVENTFUL LANDING. TROUBLESHOT THE SYS & FOUND THE MAIN CARGO DOOR SEAL LEAKING. REPLACED THE SEAL IAW MM 72 JIC 52-31-40 RAI-10000. THE SYS CHECKED GOOD IAW 72 MM JIC 05-53-00 TST-10000.
ON TAXIOUT, FLIGHT CREW FOUND THE F/O`S BRAKE PEDALS INEFFECTIVE. REPLACED BRAKE METERING VALVE IAW JIC 32-42-51. SYS CHECKRF GOOD IAW JIC 32-42-00.
FLIGHT 8375, AFTER LANDING, F/O RIGHT BRAKE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR WITHOUT PROPER BRAKING ACTION. TROUBLESHOT SYS, REPLACED RT INBD BRAKE ASSY, IAW JIC 32-42-55 RAI 10000. SYS CHECKED GOOD AND ACFT RETURN TO SERVICE.
ON LANDING, FIRST OFFICERS RIGHT SIDE BRAKE FELT MUSHY AND WILL NOT STOP ACFT. AFTER TROUBLESHOOTING THE MECHANIC REPLACED THE NR 2 MASTER CYLINDER IAW JIC 32-42-13. BLED THE LOW PRESSURE BRAKE LINE IAW JIC 32-42-00. BLED THE SYSTEM, OPS CHECKED GOOD.
ON LANDING THE RIGHT BRAKE GOES TO THE FLOOR ON BOTH SIDES. AFTER TROUBLESHOOTING THE GREEN HYD ACCUMULATOR WAS SERVICED IAW ATR72 JIC 12-14-29 SRV 10000 THE SYSTEM CHECKED GOOD AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
CORROSION FOUND ON THE FUSELAGE AT FRAMES 14 AND FRAMES 17 OUT OF LIMITS IAW ATR 72 SRM 53-31-00.
LEFT AND RIGHT WING HAS CORROSION BETWEEN RIBS 4/5 AND STIFFENERS 8/9. REMOVED CORROSION IAW ATR STRUCTURAL REPAIR INSTRUCTION REF DT/S-2320/12-17325.
CORROSION FOUND IN AREA AZ ON BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT WINGS NEAR THE FUEL COLLECTOR TANK DRAINS. CORROSION REPAIRED IAW ATR SRI REF: DT/S-2320/12-17325
DURING FLIGHT 8106 THE FLAP ASYMMETRY INDICATION APPEARED. AFTER LANDING THE CREW FOUND THE FLAP ON THE LEFT SIDE HAD BEEN DAMAGED. THE FLAP TRANSMITTER WAS REPLACED AND CHECKED GOOD. THE FLAP WAS REPAIRED IAW RDO 201200079-1. AFTER THE REPAIR THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
LT AND RT FWD WING SPAR CAP AT RIB 10 AND RIB 12 HAS CORROSION. CORROSION REMOVED AND BLENDED IAW TEMPORARY REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS IAW ATR STRUCTURAL REPAIR APPROVAL SHEET DO/TS-802/10...5597 AND DO/TS-803-804/10...5596.
ON TAKEOFF ROLL THE F/O AIRSPEED INDICATOR REMAINED AT ZERO. THE TAKEOFF WAS ABORTED AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO THE GATE. MAINTENANCE FOUND FOD (SPIDER) IN THE PITOT TUBE. THE TUBE WAS CLEARED AND THE SYSTEM CHECKED GOOD. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE. (K)
