Maintenance disclosures
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT THE AFT BAG/COURTESY LIGHT WENT INOP. MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOT THE LIGHTING SYSTEM AND FOUND THE WIRING FOR THE BAGGAGE LIGHTS WIRING WAS PINCHED BETWEEN THE REMOVABLE BAGGAGE PANEL AND THE BAGGAGE STRUCTURE, THIS CAUSED THE WIRE TO CHAFE AND EVENTUALLY SHORT TO GROUND. THE WIRING FOR THE LIGHTING CANNOT BE EASILY CHECKED DURING THE INSTALLATION OF BAGGAGE PANELS. THE WIRING WAS REPAIRED AND ROUTED IN A WAY TO PREVENT FURTHER ISSUES. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
CREW RECEIVED WOW FAIL & ANTI-SKID FAIL CAS MSGS AFTER THE GEAR HANDLE WAS PLACED INTO THE DOWN POSITION. DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. FOUND THE LT INBD WOW SENSOR TO BE FAULTY. A NEW WOW HARNESS WAS INSTALLED ON THE LT INBD GEAR IAW AMM 32-41-06-400 & 32-45-01-400. OPS CHECKED GOOD.
CREW COMPLIED WITH AN EMERGENCY DESCENT DUE TO ELECTRICAL LOSS AFTER BATTERY EXCEEDANCE MESSAGE DISPLAYED. STARTER GENERATOR & GCU WERE REPLACED. PHASE 3 OVERSPEED INSPECTION WAS COMPLIED WITH & NO DEFECTS NOTED. THE ACFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
