THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT THE WING HEAT CIRCUIT BREAKER WOULD TRIP WHEN STABILIZER HEAT ANTI-ICE SWITCH WAS TURNED ON. THE BASE MAINTENANCE TEAM WAS ABLE TO DUPLICATE THE C/B TRIPPING WHEN WING-STAB SWITCH ENGAGED. IT WAS SUSPECTED A RELAY, LEFT BLEED AIR OVER TEMP SWITCH DEFECTIVE AND RIGHT BYPASS VALVE DEFECTIVE. THE RELAY AND TEMP SWITCH WERE REPLACED WITH NEW UNITS. OPS CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT THE AFT CABIN DOOR WARNING ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED ON DECENT FOR LANDING. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR REMOVED THE INTERIOR SURROUNDING THE AFT CABIN DOOR MICROSWITCHES. VISUALLY INSPECTED THE MICROSWITCHES FOR CONDITION AND SECURITY, ALL SWITCH ASSEMBLIES SECURE WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. VERIFIED SHOOT BOLT EXTENSION, NO DEFECTS NOTED, ADJUSTED THE FORWARD UPPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY AND REINSTALLED THE INTERIOR COMPONENTS PREVIOUSLY. OPS CHECKS SATISFACTORY AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURN TO SERVICE.
THE NO2 ENGINE FAILED TO START AND THE FLIGHT CREW RECEIVED AN AMBER ENGINE COMPUTER LIGHT, THE FLIGHT CREW RAN THE CHECKLIST PROCEDURES AND COMPUTER LIGHT EXTINGUISHED. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR TROUBLESHOT AND SUSPECTED A FAULT WITH THE HYDRO-MECHANICAL UNIT (HMU) AND DUMP VALVE. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR WAS INSTRUCTED TO SWAP HMUS FROM ENGINE TO ENGINE, AND REPLACED THE NO2 ENGINE DUMP VALVE WITH AN OVERHAULED UNIT. FUNCTIONAL AND LEAK CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE MAINTENANCE TEAM DISCOVERED DURING POST FLIGHT CHECKS AN HYDRAULIC LEAK COMING FROM THE MAIN LANDING GEAR WHEEL WELL AREA. TROUBLESHOOTING DETERMINED THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR DOOR HYDRAULIC LINE LEAKING (P/N 5407002-340) A NEW HYDRAULIC LINE WAS INSTALLED. FUNCTIONAL AND LEAK CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT DURING ENGINE START AN AMBER RIGHT ENGINE COMPUTER ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED. THE MAINTENANCE TEAM DOWNLOADED THE ENGINE COMPUTER AND TROUBLESHOT PER THE PRATT AND WHITNEY MANUAL. IT WAS DETERMINED THAT UPPER AND LOWER EXCITER BOXES FAULTY. BOTH BOXES WERE REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH NEW. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY. THE AIRCRAFT AS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
CREW REPORTED : APPROXIMATELY 10 MIN AFTER DEPARTURE FROM KJZI EN-ROUTE FOR KSUA CLIMBING TO OUR FILED ALT OF FL380 WITH FULL ANTI-ICE ON, WHEN AT FL340 THE RIGHT ENGINE T-HANDLE FIRE WARNING SYSTEM FLASHED MOMENTARILY. BOTH CREW MEMBERS REACTED TO THE FIRE WARNING AND EXECUTED THE MEMORY ITEMS AND BEFORE THE THE FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM WAS ACTIVATED THE FLICKERING WARNING SYSTEM STOPPED. THE CREW CONTINUED THE ENGINE FIRE CHECKLIST AND SECURED THE RIGHT ENGINE AS A PRECAUTION. THE CREW ASKED ATC FOR A LOWER ALTITUDE AND INSTRUCTION TO DIVERT AND LAND. THERE WAS NO SMOKE IN THE CABIN OR ANY ABNORMAL SMELLS THE CREW DID NOT DECLARE AN EMERGENCY FOR THE REMAINING FLIGHT. AFTER TALKING WITH MX VIA ARINC IT WAS SUSPECTED THERE WAS A DEFECTIVE FIRE LOOP. THEY OPTED TO RESTART THE ENGINE FOR THE LANDING. THE LANDING WAS NORMAL AND NO FIRE INDICATIONS. MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOOTING DISCOVERED NO FIRE DAMAGE. THEY DID FIND SEVERAL LOOSE BLEED-AIR CLAMPS ON THE RIGHT ENGINE. THE FIRE DETECT LOOP WAS FOUND TOUCHING METAL. OPS CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY. NOTE: THE RH ENGINE HAD BEEN REINSTALLED BY A MAJOR MRO AFTER REPAIRS ABOUT 20 FLIGHT HOURS PRIOR TO THIS EVENT.
