DURING DESCENT, THE FLIGHT CREW REDUCED THE POWER LEVERS TO IDLE. NOTICED THAT THE ENGINE PITCH NOISE CHANGED CONSIDERABLY. THE MASTER CAUTION LIGHT CAME ON WITH AN (ENG LO OIL PRESS) LIGHT. THE CREW FOLLOWED THE CHECKLIST FOR AN ENGINE FAILURE OR ENGINE SHUTDOWN IN FLIGHT, AND SHUT THE ENGINE DOWN. DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND CONTINUED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

RT MAIN LANDING GEAR INBOARD DOOR DID NOT LOCK IN UP POSITION DURING GEAR EXTENSION. VERIFIED GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED, CONTINUED APPROACH, LANDED WITHOUT EVENT. INSPECTION FOUND GEAR DOOR UPLOCK MECHANISM OUT OF RIG. RE-RIGGED, AND FUNCTIONAL TEST PERFORMED SATISFACTORY.
Part: CONTROL CABLE — BROKEN (TE FLAP)
WHILE INVESTIGATING PILOT REPORT OF SPEED BRAKES. FAILURE TO DEPLOY IN FLIGHT. FOUND LT HAND FORWARD FLAP CABLE CORRODED INTO TWO PIECES INSIDE SWAGED TERMINAL. CABLE SHOWED SLIGHT TO NO VISIBLE INDICATION OF CORROSION ON THE OUTSIDE OF SWAGED TERMINAL, NO REPORT OF ANY FLAP SYSTEM PROBLEMS.
