CREW REPORTED PASSING THROUGH 4000 FT DURING CLIMB AND ACCELERATING FROM 200 TO 250 KTS. HAD TO PUSH HARDER ON THE YOKE TO KEEP THE NOSE FROM RISING. TRIED YOKE TRIM CONTROL WAS INOPERATIVE. TRIED SUITCASE HANDLES, THEY WERE INOPERATIVE. REACHED 5000 FT, REQUESTED 3000 AND DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AS AIRCRAFT WAS SLOWING TO 200 KTS. RAN THE CHECKLIST FOR STABILIZER INOPERATIVE IN FLIGHT. AFTER CHECKLIST, THE PRIMARY TRIM WAS STILL NOT WORKING. ACFT DIVERTED AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE PRIMARY LONGITUDINAL TRIM ACTUATOR MOTOR IAW AMM 27-40-1. SYSTEM OPS CHECKED GOOD IAW AMM 27-40-0. MAINTENANCE FOUND THAT THE PRIMARY LONGITUDINAL TRIM ACTUATOR MOTOR HEATER CAP FAILED TEST IAW AMM 27-40-01. IT HAS NOT BEEN DETERMINED IF THE HEATER CAP MAY HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE PRIMARY LONGITUDINAL TRIM MOTOR FAILURE. AIRCRAFT HAS BEEN RETURNED TO SERVICE.

CLIMBING THRU 28,000, APU GENERATOR AND NR 2 GENERATOR REPEATEDLY BOUNCED BETWEEN APU & NR 2 GEN UNTIL THE LT APU AC BUSS WAS SWITCHED OFF. AT THE SAME TIME, ACFT BEGAN TO OSCILLATE VIOLENTLY. DISCONNECTED AUTOPILOT, DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND DIVERTED. RAN THROUGH FLIGHT CONTROL OSCILLATING CHECKLIST AND NORMAL CHECKLIST. OSCILLATION CONTINUED ANYTIME A FORWARD OR AFT CONTROL INPUT WAS APPLIED WITH THE YOKE. AIRCRAFT WAS BEING FERRIED UNDER SPECIAL FLIGHT PERMIT DUE TO A NR 1 GENERATOR FAILURE INFLIGHT AND CSD DISCONNECT. ADDITIONAL MAINTENANCE AND PARTS WERE SENT, WHERE THE LT GENERATOR AND CSD WERE REPLACED IAW MM 24-10-01. NR 1 GENERATOR SYSTEM OPS AND LEAK CHECK WAS GOOD. THE APU WAS DEFERRED. MAINTENANCE PERFORMED DFGC STANDARD CHECKS IAW MM 22-01-05, STALL WARNING CHECK IAW MM 34-19-00, WINDSHEAR TESTS IAW GROUND FUNCTIONAL TEST PROCEDURE 3257-TP-001, AUTOPILOT CHECKS IAW MM 22-01-05. ALL OPS CHECKS WERE GOOD. EXTERIOR OF ACFT WAS VISUALLY INSPECTED TO INCLUDE ALL FLIGHT CONTROLS. FUNCTIONAL CHECKED AILERONS, HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL STABILIZER, ELEVATORS AND RUDDER. INSPECTED HORIZONTAL STABILIZER JACKSCREW IAW MM 27-40-01. INSPECTED ELEVATOR CONTROL, GEARED AND ANTI-FLOAT TABLES IAW MM 27-30-00. INSPECTED ELEVATOR CONTROL CABLES THAT WERE EXPOSED. NO DEFECTS WERE NOTED AND ALL OPS CHECKS WERE GOOD. PERFORMED AN OPS CHECK OF ALL GENERATORS AND CROSS-TIE IAW MM 24-20-00. NO DEFECTS WERE NOTED. SUBSEQUENTLY THE ACFT WAS SATISFACTORILY TEST FLOWN AND NO FLIGHT CONTROL OSCILLATIONS WERE NOTED. IT IS SUSPECTED THAT DIRTY POWER CAUSED BY THE CROSS-TIE CYCLING IN FLIGHT DUE TO APU GENERATOR PROBLEMS CAUSED THE FLIGHT CONTROL OSCILLATION.

SHORTLY AFTER PHYSICALLY SAW SMOKE IN SUPERNUMERARY AREA. DECLARED AN EMER & RETURNED. COMPLETED RED BORDER COM & NORMAL CHECKLIST. LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. REMOVED LT AIR COND PACK TEMP CONTROL VLV IAW MD80 AMM 21-61-01. RE-INSTALLED SAME TEMP CONTROL VLV WHICH OPERATES & LEAK CHECKED GOOD IAW AMM 21-61-01. REMOVED, INSPECTED & RE-INSTALLED LT & RT WATER SEPARATORS. OPERATIONS & LEAK CHECKED GOOD IAW AMM 21-20-02. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK OF RT TEMP CONTROL IAW AMM21-60-00. OPERATIONS CHECK WAS GOOD, NO DEFECTS NOTED. R & R LT TEMP SENSOR, RATE OF CHANGE HI LIMIT SENSOR. AIR COND SYS OPERATIONS CHECKED GOOD IAW AMM 21-60-00 BUT SYS DOES NOT AUTO SHUTDOWN. FOUND GND WIRE LOOSE FOR LT THERMAL SWITCH FOR AUTO SHUTDOWN. TIGHTENED GND WIRE CONNECTION. AUTO SHUTDOWN SYS OPERATIONS CHECKED GOOD IAW AMM 21-31-04. ACFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
MAIN CARGO DOOR ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED AT 330. ENROUTE AT FL330, LEVEL FLIGHT, THE RED MAIN CARGO DOOR ANNUNCIATOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED. AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED TO ATC AND DESCENT/DIVERSION WAS INITIATED. EMERGENCY COM PROCEDURES WERE PERFORMED, ACFT GAVE NO OTHER INDICATIONS OF AN OPEN CARGO DOOR. APPROACH AND LANDING WERE CONDUCTED CONDITIONS WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE COULD NOT VERIFY. R & R FWD LATCH LOCK PIN SWITCH IAW SUPPLEMENTAL CARGO DOOR MM 52-35-08. CREW REPORTED THAT ACFT WAS LEVEL AT 16,000 FEET, MAINTAINING 250 KNOTS. WHEN CLEARED TO CLIMB, LT ENGINE THROTTLE WOULD NOT ADVANCE. MAXIMUM THRUST WAS APPROX 63 PERCENT N1. CREW DECLARED EMERGENCY, RETURNED TO DEPARTURE AND REQUESTED FIRE AND RESCUE STANDBY. AFTER LANDING, REQUESTED FIRE AND RESCUE TO VISUALLY CHECK ACFT CONDITION AS A PRECAUTION. WHEN EXITING THE HIGH SPEED ONTO THE REGULAR TAXI-WAY, LOST COMPLETE HYD PRESSURE FOR 45 SECONDS. ADVISED GROUND CONTROL, COMMUNICATION WITH GROUND, ALL HYD PRESSURE CAME BACK.
