PILOT REPORTED THE SMELL OF SMOKE IN THE CABIN WITH THE HEATER TURNED ON. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND IS CHANGING THE HEATER CYCLING SWITCH. TROUBLESHOOTING IS ONGOING AND THE SUBMISSION WILL BE UPDATED WITH ANY FURTHER ACTIONS
THE PILOT REPORTED A FUME SMELL IN THE COCKPIT DURING FLIGHT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND FOUND THE CABIN HEATER CYCLING SWITCH NOT CYCLING PROPERLY. REPLACED THE CABIN HEATER CYCLING SWITCH WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
DURING SCHEDULED INSPECTION, RT ELEVATOR FREE PLAY FAILED ALLOWABLE LIMITS. PROBLEM WAS DISCOVERED AS THE ELEVATOR TORQUE TUBE RIVETS BEING LOOSE AND WORN. UNIT REPLACED WITH NEW. OLD UNIT RETURNED TO MANUFACTURE. (M)
NOSE WHEEL STEERING FAILS TO TURN FREE IN POWER OR CASTOR MODES. STEERING ACTUATOR REPLACED. (M)
WHILE EN ROUTE CREW EXPERIENCED SMOKE IN THE COCKPIT. EMERGENCY LANDING WAS DECLARED AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE NR 2 EHSI, EFD-84, WAS THE CAUSE OF THE SMOKE. THE EFD-84 WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH A SERVICEABLE UNIT AND SYSTEM OPERATED SATISFACTORY. (M)
EN ROUTE BETWEEN PLB AND IAD, ON A REPOSITION FLIGHT, LEFT ENGINE OIL PRESSURE BEGAN TO FLUCTUATE. UPON FURTHER OBSERVANCE BY CREW OIL PRESSURE ANNUNCIATOR BEGAN FLASHING, AT WHICK TIME ENGINE WAS SHUT DOWN AND AIRCRAFT DIVERTED TO ABL. LEFT ENGINE OIL LINE HOSE ASSEMBLY TO OIL COOLER WAS FOUND CHAFFED AND REPLACED IAW RAYTHEON MM CHAPTER 79. OPERATIONAL LEAK CHECK AND GROUND PERFORMANCE RUN OF ENGINE SATISFACTORY IAW APPROVED WORK CARDS. (M)

RIGHT ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE GAUGE ERRATIC. INVESTIGATION FOUND OIL TEMPERATURE BULB MALFUNCTIONED.
NR 2 EADI INOPERABLE.
NOSE GEAR INDICATOR LIGHT INOPERATIVE.
NOSE GEAR INDICATOR LIGHT INOPERATIVE. REMOVED AND REPLACED LANDING GEAR ANNUNCIATOR MODULE.
DURING PRE-FLIGHT, DISCOVERED LT PROPELLER LEAKING OIL.
DURING POST FLIGHT WALK AROUND WHEN LEFT PROP WAS MOVED, A GRINDING NOISE WAS HEARD COMING FROM ENGINE POWER SECTION. MAIN OIL SCREEN WAS INSPECTED AND FOUND CONTAMINATED WITH METAL. ENGINE WAS REPLACED AND SENT TO PRATT AND WHITNEY CANADA FOR REPAIR.
DURING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE, BOTH AILERONS WERE DISCOVERED AS HAVING EXCESSIVE FREE PLAY. UPON INSPECTION OF COMPONENTS, ALL THREE ATTACHMENT BEARINGS AND MOUNTING HARDWARE WERE FOUND WORN AND LOOSE. BEARINGS AND HARDWARE REPLACED WITH NEW. (M)
ELT TRANSMITS CONTINOUSLY. COMPLETE UNIT CONTAMINATED WITH MOISTURE. REMOVED AND REPLACED ELT ASSEMBLY.
LEFT PROP, BLADE SN 521MA MISSING DEICE BOOT. PROPELLER AND BLADES WERE OVERHAULED BY HARTZELL AT WHICH TIME NEW BOOTS WERE INSTALLED. UPON INSPECTION OF BLADE, IT'S APPARENT THAT THE PROBLEM LIES WITH THE PAINT BEING APPLIED TO BLADES PRIOR TO BOOT INSTALLATION.
RIGHT ENGINE RUBBING NOISE COMING FROM POWER SECTION AFTER SHUTDOWN AND THEN DISAPPEARS UPON COMPLETE COOL DOWN OF ENGINE. INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT ANTI-ROTATION LUGS WERE WORN APPROXIMATELY .060. UNIT WAS NOT MODIFIED BY S/B 14206.
DE-ICE BOOT SEPERATED FROM PROP DURING FLIGHT. PROBLEM APPEARS TO BE WITH ADHESION OF PAINT ON PROP BLADE. BOOT IS GLUED TO PAINTED SURFACE.
