EVIDENCE OF OVERHEATING ON RIGHT ENGINE IN FRONT OF INBOARD EXHAUST STACK. DECLARED EMERGENCY. GVI FOUND ORANGE STRIPING VISIBLE ON LOWER TORQUE MANIFOLD FITTING. REMOVED ORANGE TORQUE STRIPING AND APPLIED BLUE TORQUE STRIPING TO FITTING IAW KA SERIES STANDARD PRACTICES MANUAL 20-10-00. NO DEFECTS NOTED.
AT FLIGHT LEVEL 310, THE PILOTS SIDE WINDSHIELD FAILED. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE PILOTS WINDSHIELD AND WINDSHIELD ANTI-ICE HEAT CONTROLLER. A SUCCESSFUL OPERATIONAL CHECK FLIGHT WAS PERFORMED. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
DURING AIRCRAFT TOWING LEFT BRAKE SEIZED AND STOPPED THE TUG. AFTER 2.5 HOURS AIRCRAFT WAS ABLE TO BE TOWED TO FBO. BRAKES WERE VERIFIED TO BE NOT SET. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE NR 2 BRAKE ASSEMBLY. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
PILOT REPORTS RUDDER BOOST TEST HAS OPPOSITE RUDDER MOVEMENT WHEN TEST IS PERFORMED. LT THROTTLE HAS RT RUDDER MOVEMENT. RT THROTTLE HAS LT RUDDER MOVEMENT. MX WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE DISCREPANCY WITH THE CREW. DURING TEST IT WAS NOTED THAT THE SYS WAS GIVING WEAK RUDDER COMMANDS. MX ACCESSED THE FLIGHT GUIDANCE COMPUTER & NOTICED A MILD BURNED PLASTIC SMELL COMING FROM THE COMPUTER. THE FLIGHT GUIDANCE COMPUTER WAS REPLACED. RUDDER BOOST FUNCTION WAS IMPROVED. ACFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
