ELECTRICAL RUBBER INSULATION BURNED SMELL IN AFT GALLEY ABOUT 01.45 BEFORE LANDING, NO SMOKE NOTICED. THOUGHT TO COME FROM CEILING AREA. PULLED AFT GALLEY C/BS AND TURNED ALL GALLEY SWS OFF. TURNED OFF NAV LIGHTS. OPERATED ALL OVENS, REMOVED COFFEE MAKERS AND CHECKED PADSAND WIRING. OPENED OVERHEAD PANELS AND CHECKED WIRING BALLASTAND TUBES. WITH AIR COND ON OPERATED SYSTEMS, ALL OK.

DURING CRUISE HAD FLUCTUATING NR 1 ENGINE EPR INDICATIONS, RETURNED JFK. REPLACED NR 1 FMU, PERFORMED RUNUP, OPERATION NORMAL.

AT FL 350 PITCH TRIM 2 ATS DROPPED OFF, STBY PITOT ALSO OFF AND FD NR 2 OFF. ALL WOULD RESET, BUT FAULT AGAIN. DIVERTED TO JFK. REPLACED NOSE GEAR PROX SENSOR 82GB. RETURNED TO SERVICE.
