ON 27 DECEMBER 2020, WHEN POLAR N852GT LANDED AT PVG (PUDONG AIRPORT) SHANGHAI, THE NR 2 FLAP TRACKING FAIRING WAS FOUND MISSING DURING WALK AROUND CHECK. THE OPERATOR WAS NOTIFIED. AFTER THAT, THE AIRCRAFT OPERATION CONTROL CENTER OF THE AIRPORT TOLD OPERATOR THAT THE MISSING PART WAS FOUND OUTSIDE THE END OF THE RUNWAY. FOLLOWED POLAR MCC'S INSTRUCTION, WE REMOVED REMAINING PARTS, CHECKED RELATED AREA AND NO FURTHER DAMAGE WAS FOUND. WE PERFORMED FLAP SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK, ALL NORMAL AND ITEM DEFERRED PER CDL.

LEFT WING NR 4 FIXED FAIRING PANEL NR 571AB INBD SUPPORT BEAM AFT & END FOUND CRACKED, SUPPORT BEAM REPAIR CARRIED OUT IAW RI-57-51-10611.
FIRE WHEEL WELL EICAS MESSAGE DISPLAYED IMMEDIATELY AFTER LIFT OFF. MESSAGE CLEARED BY ITSELF IN APPROX 10 SECONDS. LT THE GEAR DOWN AND ACCOMPLISHED NON NORMAL PROCEDURES EXCEPT GEAR RAISED AFTER APPROX 4 MINUTES. ALL INDICATIONS NORMAL INCLUDING VISUAL INSPECTION OF MAIN DECK. THE ONLY UNUSUAL ITEM NOTED WAS A BRAKE TEMP INDICATION IN BOTH THE RT WING AND BODY GEAR BRAKES OF .5 TO .8. ALL LT BRAKES WERE 0. FLIGHT CONTINUED TO DESTINATION. INSPECTED WHEELWELL AREA FOR DUCT LEAKS. INSPECTED OVERHEAT LOOPS, NO DEFECTS NOTED. PERFORMED CMC GROUND TEST IAW MM 26-1-00, TEST PASSED, RAN ALL 3 PACKS.
NR 3 PYLON T/E FAIRING HAS TWO NUTPLATES DAMAGED. PERFORM A TIME LIMITED REPAIR.
HYD QTY LOW 2 & HYD PRESSURE ENG 2 EICAS MESSAGES. ON INSPECTION IT WAS FOUND THAT THERE WAS HYD FLUID LEAKING FROM ENG 2 DRAIN MAST, FOR THE ENGINE DRIVEN HYD PUMP. NR 2 EDP REPLACED IAW AMM 29-11-05. DURING LEAK CHECK, A LEAK WAS ALSO FOUND AT THE RT INBD AILERON ACTUATOR PRESSURE LINE. TEMPORARY FLEX LINE INSTALLED IAW EO 4829A001 AND LEAK CHECK WAS GOOD.
