THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED NOISE COMING FROM RUDDER STEERING WHEN TAXING, FELT ON RUDDER PEDALS, SOUNDS LIKE ITS RUBBING. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR INVESTIGATED NOISE FROM NOSE WHEEL STEERING. FOUND SUSPECT CRACKING NOISE COMING FROM NLG UNIVERSAL JOINT, REMOVED DOOR SUPPORTS FOR ACCESS TO NOSE LANDING GEAR STEERING REMOVED ARM ASSEMBLY. REMOVED SUPPORT ASSY. REMOVED GEAR ASSY. INSTALLED NEW GEAR ASSEMBLY, NEW BOLTS, NEW BEARINGS, NEW ARM ASSY, NEW FORK ASSY LOWER STEERING. FUNCTIONAL CHECKS SATISFACTORY AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT THE AUTO-PILOT FAIL WARNING ILLUMINATED AND SYSTEM WOULD NOT ENGAGE. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR TROUBLESHOT AND DETERMINED THE RUDDER SERVO DRIVE DEFECTIVE. THE SERVO WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH OVERHAULED UNIT. OPS CHECKS GOOD. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THE THE LEFT PILOTS SEAT MOVEMENT LEVER WOULD NOT ALLOW THE SEAT TO BE MOVED FORWARD OR BACKWARD. SEAT WAS LOCKED TO SEAT TRACKS. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR DISCOVERED A BROKEN BELLCRANKS P/N 1B1421-3 AND 1B1421-5. INSTALLED NEW PARTS, OPS CHECKS GOOD. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
