DURING A SCHEDULED INSPECTION, THE OVERMOULDED RUBBER BUMPER ON THE NOSE GEAR RETRACTION STOP WAS FOUND BROKEN. THE RUBBER WAS SPLIT AT THE POINT OF CONTACT WITH THE RETRACTION DRAG LINK. THIS AICRAFT HAS HAD THIS PART REPLACED THREE TIMES DURING THE PAST FOURTEEN MONTHS FOR THE SAME ISSUE.
Part: EXHAUST STACK — CRACKED (ENGINE) · airframe 632 hrs
ON DEPARTURE FOLLOWING A TOUCH AND GO LANDING THE CREW HEARD AN UNUSUAL METALLIC SOUND FROM THE ENGINE. THE CREW REMAINED IN THE PATTERN AND CONDUCTED A FULL STOP LANDING. UPON INVESTIGATION, THE #1 CYLINDER EXHAUST STACK WAS FOUND COMPLETELY CRACKED OFF ALONG THE WELD LINE AT THE FLANGE. STACK WAS REPLACED.
