DURING APPROACH INTO SAT AT 8000FT IN LEVEL FLIGHT WE RECEIVED A AP HOLDING RWD ANNUNCIATOR. A/P WAS DISCONNECTED AND AIRCRAFT HAD AN COMMANDED ROLL TOT HE LEFT. SECOND ATTEMPT TO ENGAGE A/P AP HOLDING RWD ANNUNCIATOR CAME ON. DISCONNECTED A/P AND AIRCRAFT AGAIN HAD AN COMMANDED ROLL TO THE LEFT. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE AILERON SERVO. A SUCCESSFUL OPERATIONAL CHECK FLIGHT WAS PERFORMED. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
ON APPROACH WHEN GEAR HANDLE SELECTED TO DOWN POSITION, GEAR RELAY CIRCUIT BREAKER EXTENDED, NO GEAR INDICATION LIGHTS AND GEAR HORN SOUNDED. CREW FOLLOWED CHECKLIST AND DECLARED AN EMERGENCY. LANDING WAS UNEVENTFUL. AIRCRAFT WAS FERRIED TO MAINTENANCE. THE LANDING GEAR CONTROL HANDLE WAS REPLACED. GROUND OPERATIONAL CHECK PERFORMED WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. A SUCCESSFUL OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS PERFORMED. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
PITCH, AILERON, AND RUDDER TRIM FROZEN IN FLIGHT. DESCENDING THROUGH 15,000 FT TEMPERATURE OF +3 DEGREES C, TRIM WORKED FINE. AUTO PILOT RE-ENGAGED AND FLIGHT WAS CONTINUED. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED TRIM SYSTEM NO DEFECTS NOTED. PERFORMED THE REQUIREMENTS OF NTO 940-2017-0253 AND 940-2017-0250.
