WITH ACCEPTANCE AND RECOMMENDATION THROUGH TEXTRON ENGINEERING, N860TX WAS RELOCATED FROM KLNK TO KBJC THROUGH A SPECIAL FLIGHT PERMIT TO COMPLETE REPAIRS AND REPLACE THE LH AND RH WING ATTACH FITTINGS. THE WING ATTACH FITTINGS WERE REPLACED. REMOVED DAMAGED LH INBD FWD WING ATTACH FITTING PN 6710135-7 SN NA. INSTALLED NEW LH INBD FWD WING ATTACH FITTING PN 6710135-7 SN NA WITH NEW FASTENERS FROM SHOP SUPPLIES. REF CESSNA 750 SRM 51-40-00. NO OTHER DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME. REMOVED DAMAGED RH INBD FWD WING ATTACH FITTING PN 6710135-8 SN NA. INSTALLED NEW RH INBD FWD WING ATTACH FITTING PN 6710135-8 SN NA WITH NEW FASTENERS FROM SHOP SUPPLIES. REF CESSNA 750 SRM 51-40-00. NO OTHER DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME.

15 MINUTES INTO FLIGHT FROM KEGE TO KBFI, THE FLIGHT CREW RECEIVED A WING TANK O’FULL L CAS MESSAGE. AFTER FOLLOWING QRH CHECKLIST, THE FLIGHT CREW NOTICED THE LEFT WING TANK HAD DECREASED QUANTITY BY APPROXIMATELY 300 POUNDS. THE PILOT LOOKED OUT THE WINDOW AND NOTICED FUEL VENTING FROM THE LH WING. AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS GIVEN CLEARANCE TO LAND AT KSLC. WHILE HEADING TOWARDS KSLC, THE FLIGHT CREW MADE THE DECISION TO CROSS-FEED FUEL FROM THE RH WING TANK TO STOP THE AIRCRAFT FROM CREATING A FUEL IMBALANCE. WITHIN THE NEXT FEW MINUTES FUEL VENTING FROM THE LH WING CEASED. N860TX LANDED SAFELY AT KSLC WITH NO FURTHER ISSUES. IN TOTAL, THE CREW ESTIMATED A TOTAL LOSS OF AROUND 1000 POUNDS OF FUEL FROM THE LH WING TANK. FUEL SYSTEM INSPECTION AND REPAIRS ARE CURRENTLY IN WORK BY DUNCAN AVIATION ON MOUNTAIN AVIATION WORK ORDER 19818.

REMOVED INOP LH OVER FULL FLOAT SWITCH PN: 9914427-2 SN: 134 AND INSTALLED A NEW FLOAT SWITCH PN: L16H-15 SN: 1423, IAW CESSNA 750 AMM 28-20-07. OPS CHECK GOOD AT THIS TIME. VISUALLY INSPECTED AND HAND OPERATED LH OB TRANSFER FLOAT VALVE AND LH OB VENT FLOAT VALVE. NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED. PERFORMED SUCCESSFUL FUEL TRANSFER SYSTEM SHUTOFF TEST IAW CESSNA 750 AMM 28-20-00.
