SMOKE COMING OUT OF PILOTS SIDE VENT IN FLIGHT. UPON INVESTIGATION AFTER LANDING, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE LINES GOING TO THE COMPRESSOR WERE LEAKING FREON.
WITH ACFT PARKED IN STRONG TAIL WIND NEAR GROSS WEIGHT WITH CG NEAR AFT LIMIT, ACFT SETTLED ON TAIL TIE DOWN ASSY AFTER PILOT EXITED THE COCKPIT. THE LOWER PORTION OF THE 2612059-2 BULKHEAD WAS DAMAGED AND WILL HAVE TO BE REPAIRED IAW THE FAA APPROVED MFG SRM CHAPTER 53-50-01 TAIL CONE DAMAGE REPAIR PROCEDURE.
DURING INSPECTION, EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT INOP AT ROW 4A. MAINTENANCE RELAMPED, OPS CHECK GOOD.
DURING CRUISE, NR 1 AC GENERATOR CAUTION LIGHT ILLUMINATED. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO DTW. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE NR 1 AC GENERATOR CONTROL UNIT. ALL CHECKS GOOD.
DURING INSPECTION, ONE RED FLOOR TRACK LIGHT AND ONE EXIT LIGHT INOP. MAINTENANCE RELAMPED FLOOR TRACK LIGHT A SEAT 1 DE (PN 10-1307-5) AND RELAMPED EXIT SIGN AT PASSENGER DOOR, OPS CHECK GOOD.
DURING INSPECTION 2 EXITS SIGNS WITH ONE BURNT OUT BULB EACH. MAINTENANCE REPLACED BULB IN BOTH EXIT SIGNS. ALL CHECKS GOOD.

FLT 3418 - AFTER LANDING IN CRW, RIGHT TIRES AND BRAKES WERE SMOKING AFTER LANDING. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND INSTALLED SAME RIGHT LANDING GEAR INBOARD AND OUTBOARD TIRE ASSY. LEAKS CHECKED GOOD. HIGH SPEED TAXI CHECKED GOOD. (M)
FLT NR 3389 - ON CLIMB-OUT FROM DTW, THE LEFT ENGINE EXPERIENCED A 20 PERCENT POWER LOSS. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO DTW. MAINTENANCE REPLACED A TORQUE PICKUP PROBE. ALL CHECKS SATISFACTORY. (M)

FLT NR 3410 - AFTER DEPARTURE FROM DTW, THE NR 1 AC GENERATOR CAUTION LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE AIRCRAFT RETURED TO DTW AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL REPLACED THE NR 1 AC GENERATOR CONTROL UNIT. ALL SYSTEMS OPERATED SATISFACTORILY. (M)
DTW - FLT 3152 - DURING PRE-FLIGHT INSPECTION IN DTW, CREW NOTED THE COCKPIT EMERGENCY LIGHT WAS INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL REPLACED THE LIGHT. ALL SYSTEMS OPERATED SATISFACTORILY. (X)
DURING MAINTENANCE WALKAROUND IN DTW, THE EMERGENCY ESCAPE PATH LIGHTS, THE TWO MOST FORWARD, WERE FOUND TO BE INOPERATIVE. THE SYSTEM WAS DEFERRED PER MEL 33-13. THE WRITE-UP WAS UNABLE TO BE DUPLICATED. THE SYSTEM OPERATED SATISFACTORILY. (M)
FLT NR 3166 - DURING THE POST FLIGHT INSPECTION IN DTW, THE CREW NOTED AN EMERGENCY LIGHT WAS INOP ON THE LEFT SIDE AT ROW 4. MAINTENANCE RESECURED A LOOSE CONNECTOR. SYSTEM OPERATED SATISFACTORILY. (M)
BEH - FLT 3488 - AFTER TAKEOFF, THE NR 2 ENGINE BEGAN TO SURGE IN RPM AND TORQUE. THE CREW REDUCED POWER, BUT THE ENGINE CONTINUED TO SURGE. THE CREW ELECTED TO PERFORM A PRECAUTIONARY SHUT DOWN AND RETURNED TO BEH WITHOUT INCIDENT. THE PROBLEM COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED IN BEH, SO THE AIRCRAFT WAS FERRIED TO DTW FOR FURTHER TROUBLESHOOTING. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL REPLACED THE HMU. ALL SYSTEMS OPERATED SATISFACTORILY. (X)
FLT NR 3136 - IN CRUISE FLIGHT, THE RIGHT GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THEN, WHILE PERFORMING AN ADVISORY LIGHT TEST, THE CAUTION LIGHT WOULD NOT TEST. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO DTW. MAINTENANCE WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE DISCREPANCIES. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE DISCREPANCIES, THE PANEL ANNUNCIATOR WARNING CONTROL UNIT WAS REPLACED AS A PRECAUTION. SYSTEMS OPERATED SATISFACTORILY DURING A TEST FLIGHT. (M)
FLT NR 3343 - DURING THE POST FLIGHT INSPECTION IN CWA, THE EMERGENCY LIGHT IN THE FLIGHT DECK WAS FOUND TO BE INTERMITTENT. MAINTENANCE WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE DISCREPANCY. (M)
DFW/MQT - FLT 3187 - IN CRUISE FLIGHT TO MQT, THE CREW NOTED A SLOW LEAK DOWN OF THE NR 1 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO DTW. MAINTENANCE REPLACED A CRACKED FLARE ON THE HYDRAULIC LINE FROM THE LEFT MANIFOLD TO THE ANTI-SKID CONTROL VALVE. SYSTEM OPERATED SATISFACTORILY. (X)
FLT NR 3370 - ON APPROACH TO DTW, THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR DID NOT SHOW A GREEN DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATION AFTER GEAR EXTENSION. THE LIGHT WOULD ALSO NOT TEST. THE CREW PERFORMED APPROPRIATE PROCEDURES AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT IN DTW. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE LANDING GEAR POSITION INDICATING BULB. ALL SYSTEMS OPERATED SATISFACTORILY. (W)
FLT NR 3107 - DURING THE PREFLIGHT INSPECTION IN DTW, THE EMERGENCY LIGHT ABOVE THE MAIN PASSENGER DOOR WOULDN'T ILLUMINATE. MAINTENANCE RESECURED THE CANNON PLUG TO THE OVERHEAD EMERGENCY LIGHT ASSY. SYSTEM OPERATED SATISFACTORILY. (W)
CMI - FLT 3107 - ON APPROACH, CREW NOTED AN ELECTRICAL SMELL IN THE COCKPIT. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE AIR CYCLE MACHINE. SYSTEM OPERATED SATISFACTORILY. (X)
